Excellent service from everyone I dealt…
Excellent service from everyone I dealt with. My solicitor Kate was on annual leave during the latter part of buying a property. I was concerned that my purchase would therefore be delayed but this was not the case. Any emails I sent to Kate were picked up by another member of the team and were dealt with swiftly. On her return, Kate was very accessible and helpful and made sure that my purchase went through as planned.
SIMPLY TERRIBLE - Avoid at all costs
We used Absolute Conveyancing to transfer 5 properties as part of a divorce settlement. It’s now been a year and only one of the properties has been transferred. They never answer the phone or reply to emails despite endless chasing. Unfortunately they asked for payment upfront so there’s no motivation for him to finish the work. Don’t be fooled by their cheap fees, they just doesn’t complete the work. I wish there was someone I could report them to.
At best totally incompetent
18 Nov. 2018 My Mother in law died. My Wife was sole beneficiary.
14 Dec. 2018 Probate granted Estate settled
Dec.2018 Engaged Absolute Conveyancing to transfer equity of above property to our names.
02 April 2019 Obtained Title deeds for above property from Our local Solicitor & sent them, and all documents requested, Copy of probate, copy of passports etc. by Recorded Delivery to Absolute Conveyancing
03 June 2019 Sent form AS1 signed & witnessed plus cheque by Recorded delivery to Absolute Conveyancing.
23 August 2019 Wrote to Absolute Conveyancing requesting progress report. No Reply
29 August 2019 Emailed Land Registry enquiries for status report
31 August 2019 Received email from Land Registry stating no record of the application
31 August 2019 Sent copy of above and letter asking for information by Recorded Delivery to Absolute Conveyancing. No reply
10 Sept. 2019 Phoned Absolute Conveyancing for information Told they would investigate & reply, No reply
During the following months I continued to ‘phone & write to my contact at Absolute Conveyancing requesting information and on the rare occasions when he would communicate with me I was repeatedly told that it was the fault of the Land Registry.
Land registry again denied knowledge of application.
In January 2020 I engaged a proper Solicitor who wrote to Ab. Con. On 17th. January 2020 and as if by a miracle the Land Registry received the application on 21st. January 2020.
I have copies of all communications and recording of all phone calls between myself and this outfit,
I advise any-one to give them a very wide berth.
Excellent Service by Kate
As a first time buyer Kate has been fantastic in guiding me through the legal process of purchasing a home. Kate has a wealth of knowledge and experience which I was able to pick. She was always available to answer any questions I had (even through the current global pandemic). Can't recommend Kate enough.
Overall 5/5.
Thanks.

Absolute Conveyancing is a great choice
Absolute Conveyancing offered us an amazing service with our very unique and difficult personal situation. We had to complete buying the house during the Corona outbreak, and Kate Duberley was always very helpful, responding and patient (sometimes we called her few times a day). She kept us informed on a daily basis, responded to our queries without delay and made sure we could complete in timely manner, before the full lockdown started and by the time our contract with private landlords ended. It was very stressful time for us, but thanks to Kate, we managed to move in to our new house as planned. We definitely recommend this conveyancer.

I have just used Absolute Conveyancing for the first time and found them efficient, good communicators and reasonably priced.
Highly recommend, in particular Leela was my contact and couldn’t fault her

Fantastic conveyancing service. The quote i received for a transfer of equity was the cheapest in the UK and everything was done on time and to a high standard
A less stressful move
Our move was made considerably less stressful by the professionalism of Absolute Conveyancing. We were kept informed of every step of the process as it happened. We have no criticism at all.

Excellent Outcome To A Previous 'Not Happy' Experience!
My Sons Transfer of Equity on his Home, was handed to Absolute Conveyancing by a Company who advertises as a Conveyancing Company, but actually sources the applications to other Companies. The first Company they assigned to me failed to contact me as promised, i was not happy! So Absolute Conveyancing was assigned to the Case. Leigh Oddy did an amazing job, the Transfer is now complete, my Son can now feel secure that his home is in his name only. Leigh had to listen to me waffle on moaning about the poor experience before he took over the case, I would highly recommend Leigh and i wish him continued success!
No good at all for my house sale
No good at all for my house sale, they did not understand my requirements and very poor communication. Had to constantly chase them throughout the process and they caused months of delays that brought my into financial difficulty. I went for the cheapest option from a comparison website and ended up with these guys which I completely regret. The solicitor that I got finishes work early so was never around when things needed to get done and this prolonged things. My advice is ask friends and family for a conveyancing solicitor that did a good job and pay the extra amount as it will be worth it in the long run.
Great service good communication
Professional and great communications
There are a lot of horror stories on the internet about online conveyancing failing and letting people down.
This is certainly NOT the case with these guys. Communications were quick and accurate both by e mail and telephone.
I felt I was being supported at every level of my sale and thus my stress levels were minimal.
Would recommend these guys 100%. Couldn't fault them.
Many Thanks.
