Really happy with our shutters. Pre sales support was great, got loads of information and help with deciding what we wanted. We went with the British maple option and price seemed really competitive for a hard wood option. Installation was quick and tidy and zero issues so far.

Very polite sales service which followed through to installation.. Shutters look amazing and I’ve had some very positive comments from friends only a few days after fitting. Installation completely mess free and on time.

Extremely disappointed with the quality finish of the plantation shutters I received after 16 weeks.

While the installation team were excellent. Multiple slats across 20 shutters are littered with bubbles and imperfections — clear signs of poor manufacturing.

When I contacted the company, they hid behind a clause buried in the fine print stating defects must be visible on a photo from 3 meters away (nearly 10 feet!) to qualify for replacement.

Basically, unless the flaws are glaring from across the room, they won’t take responsibility - begs to question, if they believed in their product quality, why would they introduce this ridiculous clause to hide behind?

Completely unacceptable for a product that’s supposed to be high-end. Avoid if you care about quality or fair treatment.

The man who came to measure up was very helpful and knew the product inside out. Excellent updates and communication via emails and personal texts from admin. The fitters were on time, tidy and very pleasant.
Very pleased with our shutters and they are of a very high quality. Curtesy phone call from the office on the day of installation to make sure we were happy.

Had my shutters done of this company 2 weeks ago the lads who came out weee fantastic and professional the took all the rubbish away and do a fantastic job I would recommend this company I will be getting them back to do my big loft window very pleased with this company Ian Liverpool

A number of factors make this an easy recommend. Firstly, the showroom gives you chance to experience the shutters first-hand, and get expert advice. Secondly, the finished product is superbly crafted. And thirdly, the fitting by James and Derek, was wholly professional, polite and respectful: both men are clearly very skilled.

I am absolutely delighted with them. From being measured up, to Asha keeping us informed, all rubbish bagged up,the men did an amazing job, very polite. I would highly recommend

1St class service as the first time we used them, 8am appointment it was and 8am they turned up,,,max 1 hour to do the job,,they had gone at 8.50am,,,,,would def recommend without a doubt

We went to the ‘Absolute Shutters’ show room to view their products before arranging a visit for them to take the formal measurements. Pete, who was showing us around the show room, did seem overly interested in other quotes we had obtained, which felt like he was gaging his pricing based on these quotes. After we had seen the product range and had been provided with a price, we went home to consider our options. I then called Pete to arrange for him to come and take the measurements. He was keen to know if I would commit to the order there and then when he visited, which I said I would as long as the price didn’t vary to the one he had quoted when we were at the show room. He booked me an appointment for that afternoon at 4:00, I received a text and email confirming the appointment. I moved our belongings out of the way so he could access the window, and stayed in for the appointment. HE DIDN’T SHOW UP! To make matters worse he didn’t even call later or the following day to apologise. This company has a total disrespect for others and their time, so I would definitely not recommend them.

I had an idea of what I wanted and how I thought it would look, when they came to measure up and show me samples of the products, I explained my vision. The rep went through the options with the pros and cons of different styles making sure I had considered the disadvantages of my initial ideas…..I hadn’t and took his experienced viewpoint onboard, tweaked my initial order for what I have to admit is a much better option. No difference in the cost or fitting time, just a better more practical end result.

It’s not a quick process, from order to fitting but I have nothing to compare it to and was in no rush.

The team that came out to fit them were on time, polite cleaned up as they went along, very efficient and clearly experienced. Job done in a couple of hours and I am happy with the end results.

Very poor service. The sales process is not transparent. If you get that far. Trying to get a response is hard work. Small business with small business mentality. Glad I took my business elsewhere.

The initial sales visit outlining all of the options put absolute shutters miles ahead of their competitors who we'd also consulted. The only company we could find that did hardwood shutters. The samples they brought to show us were extensive and so many options to consider - wood, finish, colour, hinges, opening, slat size etc. Nowhere near as much info/choices with competitors. We waited 3.5 months for them to be made and fitted, but they were well worth the wait. Fitters were efficient and professional and we were able to choose how the trim was used to fit to our window. All communication friendly and helpful - we also asked for new handles on the window (which we also had choices). These are not cheap shutters but you pay for what you get. 100% happy - they look fabulous.

Quality shutters installed by expert fitter.
I was kept informed of the status of the shutter design, build and installation at regular intervals.
Adam the fitter turned up on time and did a great job, including a follow up visit to align one of the shutters.
Post the fit the Absolute Shutter team contacted me to make sure everything was OK and that I was happy with the Shutters and the installation work.
Overall a great team effort.
