Val and his colleague did an excellent job. They insulated and boarded the loft, installed a ladder and replaced the hatch door. Everything was left neat and tidy. Brilliant!

Cambridge - Cancelled my quote appointment at the very last minute with the message "I'm cancelling as I don't like doing wooden ladders in older properties - good luck". I am going to another lovely local firm who loved my house - I wouldnt recommend their customer service so beware

Bristol - Cannot fault the service I received. I was left in a bit of a mess whilst buying a house and was ultimately left with no insulation or boarding in my new roof over Christmas. Although the boarding could not be done before I went away on holiday, they made sure to lay insulation down so that my house would have some protection. Everything was laid out in detail prior to any work being done, and that work was executed exactly how described. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Polite, cleaned up after themselves and answered all my questions promptly. Thank you so much Anthony

I highly recommend Access4Lofts Chelmsford. After my initial enquiry, I was promptly contacted to arrange a home visit to assess my requirements. A convenient date was then scheduled for the work to be completed. Communication throughout the process was excellent.

Ashley arrived on time, confirmed the details of the job, and efficiently installed both loft boarding and a loft ladder. He took great care to protect the carpets and made sure all debris was cleared before leaving — all while maintaining a friendly and professional attitude.

I’m extremely happy with the quality of the work and will definitely be reaching out again for future projects.

Company took my money and not completed job after 3 visits.
Now I complaining and owner wants to report me to the local authorities.
I have now raised a dispute with my bank.
I will never use this company again.

The great DECEPTION began 5/9/22, this company came to view my property with the intention of removing ALL the old yellow fibreglass loft insulation and replace with new Earthwool costing a 4 figure number (expensive),
After their completion I thought all was hunky-dorry and on inspection at the time couldn’t see any reasons to complain it just looked right.
In fact I even got them to come back at a later date to fit shelves and again I was happy.
A month ago ( October 2024 ) I had electrical work carried out from an experience electrical engineer, what he discovered and informed me was that there was still the OLD yellow fibreglass loft insulation HIDDEN, I didn’t believe him at first but I went up to check, my jaw just dropped, I just couldn’t believe it !! I decided to do further checks.
I found that they just hadn’t complete the job but had hidden / covered up or even bothered.
They came to see me and even offered some sort of refund and leave things as they are, he had discovered other areas NOT DONE.
I refused on principles, if you’re paying a very very large amount of money for a job you expect it DONE.

This company as also got the backing of “WHICH”

I’ve contacted them on 3 occasions for some sort explanation as to why this was allowed to happen ?
Also some sort of compensation for the inconvenience??

WARNING IF YOU HAVE HAD THEM IN YOUR LOFT TO REPLACING YOUR INSULATION “CHECK” “CHECK”

On Monday, 11th November, Access4Lofts replaced my loft flooring and topped up the insulation. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the work and how much it has improved the accessibility of my loft.

The team arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and made sure I had the opportunity to ask any questions before they started. Upon completion, they walked me through the work they had done and ensured I knew how to operate the loft ladder. A special shoutout to Brandon for his thorough walkthrough and guidance—much appreciated!

They left the workspace spotless, which was a pleasant bonus. I would wholeheartedly recommend Access4Lofts to anyone needing loft improvements. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again in the future.

Dave and Ollie came to Falmouth from St Austell branch and were bang on time. Very professional and efficient team who did a first rate job installing a loft ladder and roof boarding in our 170 year old terrace house.
Floor coverings were placed on the landing and stairs and when completed they vacuumed up the small amount of dust.
Thoroughly recommend this company.
