The installation was excellent - job done quickly and cleanly. I would recommend Access4Lofts to anyone who wants a high quality fit-out.

Got a quote for my loft boarding and hatch done in quote was to relay insulation and remove any rubbish in loft. On my return to property not to pleased to see new access cut in ceiling and still rubbish left in loft insulation not been relay. And now I have noticed my new wooden steps creaking. Not very happy with the work. Hopefully this will be resolved. But I am not holding my breath.

From start to finish Simon was very professional , polite and efficient . We are very pleased with our newly boarded loft . I would definitely recommend Simon to friends and family .

From the initial online enquiry, to the speedy response and Josh booked in for a quote. Very polite and professional, quick response with any queries. Ben and Morgan arrived on time and got to work straight away. Both very polite and extremely hard working and just cracked on. I am delighted with the results and have so much more storage space and quality insulation. Wish I had this done sooner, money well spent.

Simon from Access4Lofts is a complete professional . From arriving to do the initial quote right throughout the three days he visited my home he was absolutely a credit to himself and his craft .
The space and access he created for me looks superb and I can’t wait to declutter my apartment to give me the extra living space I need .
I can’t recommend Simon highly enough , I had to leave him working alone in my home too whilst I went to work and I had complete trust that I could do so with him . This guy is brilliant if you need your loft boarding out then in my opinion you couldn’t find a nicer or more thorough guy to do the work than Simon .

Professional service from adminstration, to fitters.
We had some initial teething issues but Matt and his team, dealt with all the obstacles.
Would highly recommend, even if issues arise , this team can deal with it.

Grant (St Austell) came to survey and measure to provide a quotation. Arrived on time, very professional and helpful and the quote was reasonable. David came to carry out the lengthening of our hatch, new ladder and replacement boarding yesterday. Dust sheets placed everywhere, clean and exceptionally tidy professional workmanship. Fantastic job, we are so pleased with the results. After completion there was absolutely nothing more for us to do. Any damaged areas were fixed, sanded, painted and upon completion it looks like the loft hatch has always been there. Superb service, stunning workmanship, I would highly recommend 👌

Chris did an amazing job on Monday and was tidy and efficient finishing the work quickly and with minimum disruption. An asset to the company! All staff including administrative and surveyor were all equally efficient and helpful with advice and a solution to meet the budget. I would highly recommend the company for any work and would use them again.

Initially, we had really good service from Access4loft for the installation of a new loft ladder. They were quick to send out an engineer to access our requirements and provided 2 quotations for different ladder configuration options the very same evening. We also agreed an install date within the week.

However, having taken the day off work so that I could be home for the install, I waited in all afternoon but the installation team never showed up. I was not informed by anyone from the company as to what the cause of the delay was or reason for the no-show. I also called the helpline on 3 separate occasions across the course of the afternoon, each time I was told that someone would get back to me as a matter of urgency, but no one did. I’ve subsequently tried to contact Access4loft via email and by phone without success.

I would therefore exercise caution if you are planning to use this company for any loft related work. From my experience they offer an unprofessional service with no direct access to anyone in authority within the company. Their use of a virtual office or call answering service certainly puts stop to any direct contact should problems arise. I will certainly be going elsewhere for my install.

I’ve included my full name here, which Access4loft already have. There’s no need therefore for the generic head office reply to get in touch, as you should have replied to my emails and phone calls before it got to this point!!!

I wood of left better as the ladders ok though very narrow.
Sales experience, keep telling me certain people would get back to me said messages were being passed on, no one did. When I call the office said they don't know who was looking after this job. Um ...ok..
Booked appt to install in the morning, man forgot the ladder and light - again a big hmm, its their business? Fitted drop door, lots of banging I'm working downstairs wondering what's happening.
3 hours later another guy came installed ladder. I go up to look see boxes all over attic. Now badly stacked , heavy boxes on boxes marked fragile. Pull myself up and see my attic contents all over, no walk way anymore it's everywhere. Granddaughters dolls house bags and boxes upside down emptied into insulation. Mum's crystal glasses box on it's side, I pick it up sounds like broken glass. I sit on this new board and nail goes into my thigh. I come down ask the man to knock the nail in, hammers one and starts pulling another. I go down and leave him to it quite distressed, I pay, he leaves, I'm in shock a bit. Clean up my leg - Not sure what to do. Granddaughter comes home, takes off shoes and goes to the loo & cuts her foot on crocked nail left on the landing carpet. I email the company who 'are going to get back to me' never heard from them again. I chase they tell me to get a solicitor.
Avoid there's loads of companies , use another

We recently asked Access4lofts to quote, their suveyer(Brett) came after delaying the appt by 1.5 hrs (Due to an emergency,delay was requested 2 days before the appointment!!)
and spent around 45 mins measuring up.

We decided to go ahead and booked instalation to start on the 7th of July, we were advised that they would start at 9am, The loft was cleared as requested.
On Sunday(6th) morning(09:00) we got A text confirming the apointment, then at 8pm got a text from another number saying that due too "unforseen circumstances"
they would not be able to attend to to start the work and that someone would "reach out" once they have more info. Being as I had booked 2 days off
work for this I thought I'd be proactive and call them on monday morning, at 09:20 I called them and the lady I spoke to said she would email the branch and
ask them to call me ASAP, by 14:20 I had not had a call so I called again and again was told that an email would be sent to the branch requesting they contact me.
I suspect that Access4Lofts use a virtual office or call answering service as they have no way to put you through to anyone, a very good way of avoiding customers!!
By The 8th I still hadn't heard anything so called the 0800 number on the website and again go through to what I suspect is a virtual office as all they could do was send an email (10:50am) then again at 15:50 with the same story!! I'm writing this review at 17:30 on the 10th July and yep still waiting for a call/contact that I suspect will never come!! Overall this has cost me time and money in leave and lost over time on those two days!!
I look forward to Access4lofts generic cut and paste reply.

Jack arrived bright and early, very professional & friendly service. Put dust sheets out everywhere before he started his work and tidied up nicely after finishing. All for a very reasonable price - couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend!

The admin was friendly and efficient throughout. The guy was on time and finished the job in 1.5 days instead of the 2 days quoted. They took care not to disturb the existing insulation, as I requested. The loft flooring and shelving looks amazing, and there is loads of space. My wife and I are really pleased with the job.

I have to rate this company and Simon as outstanding. The entire experience from start to finish was incredible.

From the competitive quote, quality craftsmanship, attention to detail and the way Simon turned a wasteful space into a bespoke useful area was truly remarkable.

I asked for a quote for a top up of loft insulation and fitting of my own loft ladder at a property in Lincolnshire. I was given a quote, which I was happy with and so went ahead and booked an installer. The installer came and informed me that the ladder could not be fitted as it wouldn't fit because of the loft beams in the way. I then contacted the company to ask why this wasn't pointed out to me at the time they came and priced up for the quote. The company then conducted another inspection at the property and said that they would organise another installer to come out and attempt to fit the ladder, though they could not guarantee that it would fit, but they would try nonetheless. This was over a month ago, still not heard back from the company about this...
