Avoid

I'm so disappointed with my experience with Accessories for the Home that it has inspired me to make a Trust Pilot account!

I ordered two mirrors from them as they were cheaper than from other websites.

Two months following the first order, I have not received a delivery update.

Six weeks following the second order, I have not even received an order confirmation.

I emailed the company 3 times. I only received a response to the third email reassuring me it would be looked into the following morning. 4 days later, there was no further update.

I am in the process of cancelling both orders through Paypal.

Supply, delivery and refund

I ordered a cabinet over 11 weeks ago on 27th January. After waiting several weeks for a delivery confirmation I contacted Sam and was told the cabinet would arrive at their warehouse in the next week or so. However, a few more weeks passed and still no cabinet despite contacting Sam via email and phone on several occasions. Finally, last week Sam informed me that she was unable to locate the consignment that included my cabinet so I asked for a refund. I was told that the refund had been processed but a week later the refund for £721.65 has still not reached my account. I have since chased the refund three times and still no action. I now have no option but to seek recourse via my credit card company.

Was told I’d receive a refund for a…

Was told I’d receive a refund for a cancelled order back in December. Now in April and the money still hasn’t been returned. Now going through the dispute process with my bank who have to look further into the matter as accessories for the home has disputed the refund, although I have an agreed refund confirmation off them in writing. Communication is terrible as they ignore all emails.

Great Service

After reading some of the negative reviews on here I felt compelled to leave a review too.

I have ordered from Accessories for the home on multiple occasions and have always received a great service.

Items have been delayed and taken slightly longer than anticipated but they have always arrived safely and exceeded our expectations.

I would not hesitate to order from them again, showing my support for small business.

Potential scam website

I ordered two leather bean bags on 31 March 2026. Straight after ordering they emailed and said they do not have it in stock and will only be able to delivered in May.

I replied asking if they asked different colour options in stock however no reply. I then emailed to ask them to cancel my order on the same day and after 10 days they have still not replied or refunded me.

Their phone number says the mailbox is full.

I fear this may be a scam website.

I would recommend this company

We purchased a bench that was £200 cheaper via this company. I read the reviews regarding the lack of communication but bit the bullet and ordered. We waited approximately two weeks longer than suggested via their website. We received a text telling us when the bench would be delivered and told we had a two hour slot. Another text told us when they would be arriving and they were spot on. The bench is beautiful and we love it. Thank you Accessories for the Home.

Exactly what I was looking for

These bar stools are exactly what I was hoping for. The leather is genuinely good quality — not the cheap stuff — and the swivel base is sturdy. They've added a real focal point to the room. Service from Accessories for the Home was faultless from order through to delivery. Very happy.

Waited 6 weeks now, item not received!

I have ordered a plant stand from this company. Placed 24th Jan. Item was said to be on back order with stock coming in a couple of weeks. It is now 8th March, stock updates on website have gone from Jan, to early Feb, late Feb, early March and now 20th March. Also, the price of the item has decreased twice!
I've had no updates, just sat here waiting for an item I don't believe will ever arrive! If my order has not shipped shortly after 20th March I will be cancelling my order! Will avoid this company in future, as per so many of the other reviews!

Update - Stock Update now changed from 20th March to 27th March, how many more times can it be 'pushed back'?! Fed up and will find a way to cancel my order and order from Nkuku directly, as although full price, at least it will arrive!

Great cabinet

The Denza sideboard ticked all the boxes on paper and it doesn't disappoint. Delivery took 3 weeks but we were aware that it could take between 2-4 weeks so we would happily purchase from this company again.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, ordered an item online, received order confirmation, followed by an email to say the item was out of stock so delivery would be delayed. As this was for a gift it is no good to me now. I have contacted the company twice by email both were ignored.
I have reported it to my bank and they have refunded me the money while they investigate the claim, I strongly urge others to do the same as it’s completely unacceptable.

I strongly advise others to avoid

I strongly advise others to avoid this company. They currently have £585 of my money and have neither issued a refund nor responded to my messages.

I waited five weeks for a mirror to be delivered, only for it to arrive broken. It was agreed that I would receive a refund, yet more than a week has passed and no refund has been issued. My follow-up emails are now being ignored.

I also ordered two side tables 6 weeks ago and have received no communication whatsoever regarding this order, despite chasing several times. Given the complete lack of updates, I have requested a refund for these items as well, but again, I have had no response.

The lack of communication and failure to resolve issues has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend purchasing from this company.

My sincere apologies the mirror arrived damaged, we would not normally send it via parcelforce and on this occasion we shipped it via them for a speedy delivery, our mistake we should have shipped it with our specialised courier which would have taken a few days longer but would have arrived in tack. The tables were out for delivery this week. Both orders have been refunded via paypal Please check that this is the case. Kindest sam

2nd review

2nd review - item was ordered to pre-Christmas delivery and there was no response to our requests for update until Jan. Company finally responded after my first (1 star) review and apologized for delay and offered an additional discount. No response to my emails since then on level of discount. We no longer want the item at the originally paid price but getting no traction at all from the company. I’m fearing the item will just show up one day at our doorstep and we’ll have to deal with the return! Shockingly poor communication and service.

Great products and happy despite delayed delivery

I experienced similar issues to others who have written reviews in terms of delivery being delayed and communication about this not being great. However, whenever I phoned they always answered the phone straight away and were pleasant to deal with. Our counter stools have now been delivered and they are beautiful and very high quality. Worth the wait.

Extremely Disappointing Delivery Delay & No Clear Communication


I ordered chairs from this company on 4 January and I still have not received my order.
Despite contacting customer service multiple times, I am repeatedly told that delivery will be “next week,” yet no confirmed delivery date is ever provided. I called again yesterday and received the same response.
The lack of clear communication and ongoing delay has been extremely frustrating. If the chairs are not delivered imminently, I will be cancelling the order and requesting a full refund.

Very disappointing experience so far.
