Active Outlet were generally excellent and I was very pleased with their service - the only concern I had was a note with my purchase referring to their terms and conditions and that any defect must be reported within 7 days - the item I purchased (waders) would not be used within that period (and still haven't been) and any defect has not been apparent in that period - and that statement seemed to be at variance with statutory consumer rights and also it appears, the practice of e.g. Amazon as trading partners who I believe allow 30 days - I was just concerned about that one issue - otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

The 7 days is a request to advise if the item has arrived damaged so we can quickly resolve any issues such as transit damage which are often time sensitive. Just to confirm that this doesn't affect your 30 day consumer right.
