Regarding silicone, it is not uncommon for silicone to be used for minor repairs on freight containers in many countries throughout their time carrying freight. As used containers have spent 12+ years travelling through ports worldwide you may appreciate we cannot control all aspects of every prior repair, except to guarantee that each used container we supply is watertight upon delivery. We also provided a complimentary 12-month wind and watertight guarantee for your reassurance.
For buyers of a used container it’s important to note that the cosmetic appearance of used ex-shipping line containers can vary, which is typical due to their prior usage. We state this clearly at the time of sale as well as providing a watertight guarantee, but acknowledge that there has been a misalignment of your expectations on this occasion.
Our range of new build shipping containers may have better suited your needs. These containers with greatly enhanced cosmetics compared to used containers are also built with patented airflow features to help with fighting the risk of condensation. As a large volume container manufacturer we offer these new containers at a price which is often considered to be surprisingly not much more than the cost of a used container.

One off container order (i.e. I've no clue about containers!)
There was an issue with the crane reach for delivery of our container at a village public building. Milly sourced a haulier that was able to complete the task with no problem at all and kept me informed at all times. I also ordered two cob lights which were omitted from the delivery but sent the very next day with no hesitation. Ordering containers is not something I do every day (!) but the whole team at Adaptainer were most helpful and not worried at all that ours was probably considered a 'small' order. Very professional at all times. Thank you!

Very good service
Just had a new ( used once ) 20ft container delivered for personal item storage. I`ve got to say i`m very pleased and so glad i went for the better grade option.
It`s only 3 months old as confirmed by the date of manufacture on the certificate plate, the inside is immaculate and clearly has not had fork lift trucks driving in and out of it so must have been unloaded by hand.
The outside is excellent but sadly let down slightly by the marks made by the chains that were used when being unloaded. Some simple sleeves on the chains would have prevented the scratches on all 4 corners and along the top rails.
I`ve ordered some RAL6007 paint to sort out the scratches before the dreaded rust gets hold.
I plan on keeping this container so a roof cover has also been ordered.
It was unloaded onto railway sleepers to give a good air flow underneath so that along with the XL Vent System so hopefully help to control moisture.
All in it was a very good price including delivery.

A Brilliant Company To Deal With
I contacted Adaptainer to get a quote and was greeted by a friendly young lady I ordered the 40ft container as we were moving and required our furniture to be stored until our house had been refurbished I found the company to be very efficient in organising its delivery and can’t thank Rich the driver who delivered the container he was very helpful and very skilful in placing the container over our garden fence and placing it by our garage thank you adaptations and Rich for your patience and skill in driving your arctic truck
