We have had a fantastic experience with…
We have had a fantastic experience with Kirsty at the Derbyshire branch.
Kirsty had my very reactive, hyper 6 month old Red Cocker for just over 2 weeks.
Before going for his stay I couldn’t get him to focus on me or any commands, he wouldn’t walk to heel & was becoming a bit testing all round!
After his stay he was able to walk to heel on a completely loose lead & able to focus so much more on me & my commands.
We had our two follow up sessions a week apart a couple of weeks after collecting him & these really helped with MY corrections & commands so that my boy understood me better.
I can genuinely say he is so much happier & calmer now he knows what he’s supposed to do.
We have been able to bond & can actual enjoy our time together.
Highly recommend & will be back to keep learning techniques from these guys again soon!!
Many thanks.

Amazing!!
I was very anxious to leave my big bouncy mastiff with them as I’d never left him before but Danny put me at ease and kept intouch with photos and videos, I couldn’t walk him without him pulling like a train and being very reactive to dogs. After 2 weeks I have him home and you don’t even know he is attatched to the end of the lead. I’ve had a lot of trainers in the past with no luck but these have cracked him. I honestly can’t thank you enough for yhe miracles you have done with my boy!

Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing! Brucey my German shepherd cross collie came to the centre for little over two weeks. He has been at home for around five days now, and is yet to bark at a dog, and although he has tried his luck pulling on the lead once or twice he is almost a billion times better. With a little correction taught by the centre he snaps back into the perfect dog that I picked up. I can't thank the team enough for turning Brucey into the dream pup!

Dog people,not just dog trainers.
Our 9 month old presa canario chunk ,who is 50 kilos was a bit of a struggle to walk, especially for the smaller members of the family, he spent two weeks at ADk9 being trained by Danny , he now walks to heel, loose lead, does not approach other dogs or humans without permission ( he's over friendly)all that we asked for and more has been achieved, Chunk will definitely return to ADk9 for more training as he matures, also because he made such a bond with his trainer Danny and the team, if we go abroad, that's where we will board him.
Lovely people, great facilities and genuine dog lovers who want to help your dog. The handover and hand back were professional and friendly. Highly recommended and the prices are very fair, which also helps.
Chunk had never been away before, let alone in a kennel
outdoors, he loved it ,not so sure the staff loved his wild howling though 😂 thanks so much.
See you again.
Andi, Hayleigh and Baby Chunk.

Kirsty was great with my husky
Kirsty was great with my husky. I never thought he would be able to walk with a loose lead and ignore other dogs but she has made that possible!

Great dog training.
We just picked up our 40 kilo male lab from the Scottish branch, Caldercruix, today and we couldn't be more happy. Our dog had previously been attacked, after that attack he was lunging at other male dogs and was so hard go control, we put him with this facility for a week and now he is saying hello to male dogs and walking beside us, Chris znd Allan were great but Chris was his main trainer and what a brilliant job he has done, gave us our confidence back and put our minds at ease, if you are having doubts about putting your dig in such a facility by all means check them out first, but I can guarantee you this branch is great, best money we have spent in a long time.

Residential training and boarding
Just picked my dog, Bailey up from ADK9 and I am very happy with the results, Bailey is walking so much better, walking to heel and listening to commands, it's amazing what the trainer, Kirsty has achieved in a couple of weeks, thank you so much

Amazing experience
Amazing experience! I honestly cannot explain how much different it is to walk both dogs! I can actually walk them together and not get dragged! I cannot thank the trainers enough, would highly recommend this training. Only one thing is is I wish we received more updates but we understand that there are other dogs being trained and other doggy parents needing updates. We also understand you have you persona commitments. But would definitely recommend this training and I love the commands they have be trained to use! Would 100% recommend!!

Incredible results and really great support….. Thank you!!
Right from the offset Fiona & Danny were very reassuring about Jericho our 18 month old GSD and fully described his training and what would happen.
We had update regularly through his 2 weeks stay and the results…….
Amazing!!
Our incredibly reactive boy is now an absolute pleasure to walk, like a completely different dog.
But not only that the training and instruction Danny gave to us has given the confidence and knowledge to support Jericho.
So happy with ADK9 and everything Danny & the team have done for us

ADK9 works!!!!
My very dramatic Husky went for his 2 week residential for help with his socialising skills and his lead reactivity at the end of October. I had tried lots of different approaches with my dog but there was no change. I had got to a stage where I dreaded taking him for walks and was tense everytime we met another dog. Of course Hoagy was picking up on this which I am sure made things worse. I had been with him for a few one to ones with Danny prior to his residential which was also helpful in me feeling more confident in managing and understanding his reactive behaviour.
Following his residential, our walks are completely different, he walks to heel every time and most importantly his reactivity with other dogs is 98% better. Fellow dog walkers have also noticed the big change in his behaviour. I will hope to get to 100% when we go back for our 1 to 1. Faboulous people and fantastic service. It has changed our lives! Thanks Danny, Jess, Fiona and Kirsty.

Our 10 month old Rottweiler recently…
Our 10 month old Rottweiler recently spent 3 weeks with ADK9. He's been back home two weeks now and we cant thank them enough for all their amazing work. He got so over excited seeing other dogs and would pull on the lead to drag us over to them. With him being such a large dog we wanted to be make sure he was well trained. Although we know he is still a puppy and can still get excited we are now easily able to keep him under control until we give him the go ahead to play. He walks perfectly to a heel and our walks are much more enjoyable. Thanks so much Danny who worked with Kobe and gave us plenty of updates on his progress during his stay.

Not much difference in dog
Sadly my dog doesn't seem to of benefitted too much. Still as reactive as ever and pulls on lead. Stopped responding to heel command within a few days of coming home. Walks are still as stressful. Quite disappointed given the cost and don't feel I have anything to show for it to he honest

We are really pleased with the support…
We are really pleased with the support and training we and our dog Lenny have received from Fiona, Sophie and Danny.
We were concerned about Lenny as he would react to other dogs and people including children.
It was a big decision to let our dog go for 2 weeks and the contact we received over the time was always reassuring. I feel I can continue to contact Danny for advice and will be arranging a further training session.
We now have a great foundation to carry the training forward with Lenny . Taking him for a walk is becoming a pleasure not a chore. He heels well and the constant pulling seems to be a thing of the past. He also seems calmer and less anxious around people.
We feel better equipped to train and support Lenny .
We know we still have to continue the training consistently but feel more confident in doing this and that we have the support there to do this.

Changed dog!
I booked our 16 month old Labrador into ADK9 Chesterfield back in July as we were having trouble with pulling on the lead, excessive sniffing/scenting and reactivity/over excitement around other dogs. We were introduced to Sophie who was brilliant with Marty and great at reassuring me that he would be in safe hands (we've never left him with anyone other than friends or family) We received regular updates including photos and videos - Marty was having the time of his life! We have since returned for a 1-1 with Sophie to neaten up the heel work and move through some further distractions, and it's clear to see the bond Sophie and Marty have formed. I've waited a little while to write this review as I wanted to ensure that the changes we saw in Marty were permanent, with the initial training, alongside the continued guidance and support of Sophie and the team I can confirm that this is the case. Marty is a completely different dog, still as goofy and daft but a lot easier to handle, engaged and relaxed in new situations/around other dogs. It's a pleasure to walk him and we enjoy our training sessions together building both confidence, patience and understanding with eachother. I would not hesitate to leave Marty with Sophie again, she did an incredible job and I cannot thank her enough.

I can not recommend ADK9 highly enough
I can not recommend ADK9 highly enough. Our 2 year old German Shepherd was a nightmare to walk he pulled like a steam train was very reactive to other dogs when on lead. We booked him in for just over 2 weeks Sophie sent regular email updates and videos. When we picked Apollo up we had a comprehensive handover with Sophie who showed us exactly what to do.
Well we have been home for just over a week and I can honestly say I could cry tears of joy he now walks to heel and will pass other dogs in close proximity with no issues and no reaction.
I now have the walks that I have imagined for such a long time.
So a massive thank you to Sophie and all who helped with Apollo’s training.

Wowsers !!
Wowsers !!! Briliant
Daisy is a rescue dog who was traumatized when I got her. The only thing I could not get her to do was to stop pulling on the lead so I booked her in with ADK9 C'field and have not looked back. It was a wrench for me to leave her for two weeks but what a result !! Danny was so good with her and a very professional and caring trainer. I now have a dog that walks by my side and I can now enjoy our country walks. All praise to Danny and the lovely friendly team of dog trainers and admin. I will definitely take Daisy back for more training when required. Thank you all so much.

Shadow the Reactive Smooth.
Shadow our Smooth Collie became highly reactive after being attacked. Life became intolerable- she would go hysterical at the mere sight of another dog, even distantly, and was completely out of control. ADK9 gave us a thin slip on collar that gave me more control (my anxiety was adding to the problem) and then we had a series of desensitisation sessions which taught her that other dogs are not the enemy and taught me how to handle her and make her feel safe. She's still a work in progress but the change is amazing. We actually had the confidence to take her away on holiday with us this year, something we could never imagine pre-ADK9.
