More than disappointing
Our booking for a seaplane flight on Mauritius was responded far too late (48 hours was promised) and then finally we were told that the date was unfortunately not available. No alternative dates were suggested. Instead, we were told to name other preferred dates, none of which were available. The information comes late and only on request. By then the vacation will be over.
They have already taken the money when booking. And then they cannot offer the service? Seriously?
To put it diplomatically, this is more than annoying, especially because it was a Christmas present.
Never ever again! It is unfortunately not recommendable to book via Manawa

Don’t book guided snow shoe walk from Briancon. The guide did not show up and no response from the phone number. I called customer services who arranged a refund and sent me an email an hour and a half after the activity was due to start saying it was cancelled due to bad weather. I am standing here in glorious sunshine with all activities in the resort running. Absolute rubbish don’t waste your money or time. Update after writing this I managed to contact the guide directly / book directly and had an absolutely fantastic experience so it was the booking platform that was rubbish the guide was fantastic
Do not use them! Scam and you have to FIGHT to get YOUR money back!!
I’ve been back and forth with Manawa since April as they refused to give me a full refund, when the location of the place to do paragliding was incorrect and not in the capital city.
They only settled in giving me a 50% refund, and even then, there was a 1.5 month delay in the refund. When I emailed them asking for a full refund due to the delay, they didn’t even respond, and that email was sent in June 2024.
Manawa, please don’t respond with an automated response and only respond if you have the solution of refunding me my remaining 50%.

Overbooked tours and then cancelled
I tried to use Manawa's service to book a boat trip in Marseilles. The experience was not great. They overbooked the tour and then cancelled my reservation. I actually had the same experience twice, so I guess the fault is partially mine. I am obviously a slow learner.
I used the service to book a boat tour 5 days in advance. I received an email saying that they has received my requested would confirm within 48 hours. I got a confirmation in 36 hours. That seemed great. I made plans for the rest of the week based on the tour being scheduled for Thursday. late Tuesday afternoon, I received an email saying that the tour was overbooked and was that our reservation was cancelled. This threw my plans for the week into disarray because I organized the rest of the days around the trip on Thursday. When I contacted customer service, all they could say was that the booking service took too many reservations. Isn't that the entire point of their booking service? Their suggested was to use them again and book for a different day. I was flabbergasted. Why would I book again with a service that they just said didn't actually manage bookings and inventory properly?

Worst experience ever for us. We booked and got a confirmation email with date address and time. This was booked as a birthday present and all what we got was a terrible experience with waiting for 2 hours and leaving without the experience. I still can’t get over they could do this on my birthday ! Quiet Shamless and even though they are entirely at fault , not even an apology or trying to understand !!! Terrible ..

Absolutely fantastic experience. Beautiful location but the experience was made by the team of instructors. Extremely professional, very friendly with a contagious passion for their sport. I cannot recommend this team and experience highly enough.

Worst experience of my life
Worst experience of my life. They ruined the beginning of our vacation.
We booked a snorkelling tour costing 250€ on Manawa.
The guide was not at the meeting point on time. They let us find the way without indication. They refused us the activity after 20min of running in all directions to find the way, because they said it was too late.
We arrived at P5 parking at 2:38 PM for our 3 PM snorkelling tour (they ask to come early). Their were no one in P5, no sign, no nothing. In the info in the voucher the only indication was P5, not another parking 500m from there. So we waited patiently. We didn’t see any guide.
We waited for the guide between 2:38 until 2:55 PM then asked a Artic Adventure bus. The bus driver said it wasn’t the place and we had to walk 10min on the road to find it.
At 14:59, I sent a text to say we were on the way to meet the guide.
At 15:00, someone called from Artic Adventure and asked if we were coming. I said we were onsite but couldn’t see Artic Adventure guide (from the road you only see Dive.is and we guessed wrongly there were another place for Artic Adventure). She said to go to the place on the voucher which was P5.
At 15:02, went back to P5.
At 15:06, called back and the phone operator didn’t have any guess on where we should go, and said we should walk to a foottrack. There were a foottrack and run (blue in my photo).
At 15:12, couldn’t see anything, the phone operator didn’t know where to guide us but was pressing us « too late, too late » went back to the place indicated by the bus driver.
At 15:18, finally met the guide. He said it was too late and we couldn’t join the activity. I begged, I was in tears. He didn’t even tried to listen and said no no no.
I explained everything to another lady. I begged another guide. None said we could joined.
They were still briefing the group. It takes 5min to dress and there is a 15min wait to get in the water. It wasn’t this time sensitive. And we WERE ON TIME in P5, we just didn’t see anyone and had no other indication in our voucher.
I called back customer service, still in tears, a inhuman voice said « you don’t have to cry », they were refusing us to an activity we paid so much for and couldn’t do anything about this injustice, of course I cry, I am a sensitive human being in this terrible world.
I sent pictures of us waiting in P5, and GPS location minute by minute, every possible proof by email to customer service, they don’t want to here anything, they don’t reply and cashed the money.
Manawa if you choose this kind of partner, I won’t book with you.
We went back today to do the tour with Troll Experience with Get your Guide, they were nice, the location was correct and everything went fine.
Edit: Partner of Manawa said they will refund us.
Still no apologies on Manawa's end. And so poor apologies from Artic Adventure.

Feedback is the best source for growing!" - we all can learn something, sorrrryyyyyy what? Yes I learned to not trust Manawa and Artic Adventures.
I had Manu on the phone a few days after sending an email with all proofs we were on-site at the right time, he was nice and polite, but he said we couldn't be refunded, and to pleade our case by email directly with the partner. You didn't act as third party. When I have an issue with a restaurant while ordering Uber Eats, I contact Uber Eats and not the restaurant, it's Uber Eats that refund us and gather all information to defend customer first...
And we won’t be refunded for parking (1000 ISK / 7€), 4h drive for gas to go to Silfra and back to where we were (around 6000 ISK / 42€) and 1/2 day car rental (11000 ISK / 73€) that we booked on purpose to go to snorkelling spot, but we still appreciate the refund of the activity (total personal expenses of around 18 000 ISK or 120€ while Artic Adventure, your chosen partner, made this mistake).

Manawa fails to deliver AND fails to fix issues
Manawa promises "unforgettable moments," but our experience fell far short of that. The entire process was rushed, with little communication or instruction provided. Despite paying full price, my husband couldn’t fully enjoy the activity due to the wrong equipment, which could have been avoided with proper preparation. Additionally, the promised video wasn’t delivered, and the alternative—three low-quality photos—was a poor substitute. Manawa offered a ridiculously low refund of 10,- (full price was 150,-). Obviously it doesn’t compensate for the disappointing experience. This was not the professional, enjoyable adventure we were led to expect. I would not recommend booking with them.

I am fully aware of the importance of weather conditions. But to me that never should a reason to be rude to customers and don't make time for instructions.
About the equipment: that is has never happened before doesn't mean you don't have to take it seriously. Once again, proper preparation and taking your time (even though the weather blabla) could have avoided this. Rather have had my money back, than proceeding and don't getting what I paid for.
And yes, I brought an SD card. I even bought one on beforehand, since we were on holiday and of course did not have one with me in my suitcase.
I am sorry but this sounds like a bunch of excuses to me and even makes my experienced worse. Customer satisfaction below zero. Just went from 2 stars tot the lowest possible. DON'T BOOK WITH MANAWA.

The booking was fine. Anwers from qeustions where answered friendly and fast. The canyoing itsself was very good fun. There were good materials. Everything was safe andthere was time for a laugh. Very nice location and very nice guides. I am 58 years old. And the youngest around 10. And we all had fun.
