Trying to contact Customer Service…
Trying to contact Customer Service regarding missed bin collections is ridiculous. The phones are rarely answered and when they are no one can tell you why the collections are not happening for over 6 weeks.

No star or - star if possible, 15- 20 days for getting a bin then anything else minimum 3-4 weeks, wish they would have improved their service,.
I have had countless missed bin…
I have had countless missed bin collections from this services far to many. I accept there had been an issue earlier in the year that affected all waste services. That has now been resolved and yet i am still having issues. They said they could not get up, i insisted on photo of what they had alleged. The photo showed reading apart of poor navigation skills. Then they said their bin lorries were bigger than everybody else. It can take 5 working days to speak to a manager. I reported them to the local council because they issue the permits. Very poor service. Avoid at all costs. They will use delay tactics and always sounds disinterested.
Missed Collections
Since it changed to Bord na Mona it's a terrible service, Missed Bin Collections even doe my account is paid up to date . Customer service is no help. Waiting on the phone to them for ages and still no one answered. But yet after missing 3 Collections in a row , I get a message saying my account is about to expire in 7 days . So where does the money I paid the weeks My bins were not collected
Rubbish service (literally)
Over the past 2-3 months, they have consistently failed to collect my bins. I have emailed them and got assurances that my bin would be collected immediately; it has now been six weeks since my green bin was collected. Easily the worst company I have dealt with in a long time, they have used every excuse: truck broken down (several times), crew not available and even, I have left out the wrong bin - despite the colour matching every other bin on the road. Thinking of changing service providers as this company is a joke.

Avoid this company
Without a doubt the worst company I have ever dealt with. Takes at least 25 minutes to get through to an agent any time I have to call. Multiple failed collections despite account being in credit every time. Did not set me up for texts for months, so was never notified of collection. They state glass bin collection is every 3 months, but the last collection was almost 4 months. Phone staff have virtually no power to help with anything and can never forward the call to a manager.
My most recent experience which caused me to cancel my service was when my general bin wasn't collected. Spoke with 3 different people who eventually told me it'd be collected the following week with the recycling, but it wasn't. Also told that the reason for the failed collection was due to their truck "breaking down", despite the fact that every other bin on the road was collected. Eventually told it'd be collected with the normal schedule because there was nothing they could do. Logged complaint which they have ten days to respond to, 20 days and counting and still hasn't been replied to. Asked them to log a manager call, wasn't logged until the following week, 3-5 day wait for this and as of 11 days, still no call. Was advised Sam would ring me, then later that week but was then was told she was too busy. 3 days into the following week I decided to just cancel as the customer service is beyond incompetent, I have never dealt with a company which has taken such little accountability for their mistakes.
If you have any option other than this ridiculous company, go with any of their competition because it's truly not worth the headache of dealing with them when something goes wrong, which it will.

I emailed Bord na Mona Recycling with a query I had about my account. They replied quickly to my query and also looked at my account and suggested a better plan for me to be on based on my history of putting out my bins and the weight of my waste bin. I'd also just like to compliment the guys who are on the lorry in my estate as they always put bins back outside the house. I really appreciate this.
Changed my service plan
It took a while to get through but when I did the agent was very friendly and immediately sorted my query. She reviewed my account and suggested a better plan to be on. I have never had an issue with my bins being collected.

Never gave me a refund that i was told I was getting
Cancelled with them over a month now and still waiting on my refund. Every time I talk to them via email or call they tell me that they are waiting on accounts. I have an email from
Over 30 days ago stating my refund of over €300would be given to me within 21 days. Even the customer service agent I spoke with last said that it was bad form and she would contact her supervisor. Still waiting.
Do not waste your time there are better bin companies that have excellent customer service and are more reliable. I will never use this company again!

Missing glass collection yet again, this time on 10th October. Impossible to get a response from customer services. Still waiting on 20th October for any reply.
I'm paying for a service which I'm not receiving. Utterly hopeless, and tantamount to fraud.

My bin was not collected again. Can't get them on the phone. Last time they were to come and collect the bin but never did so even if I can get them eventually I have no trust in this issue being resolved. Dreadful Customer service

I'm not happy with the AES service, I tried to contac them by phone I was waiting for 30 minutes also by email and they never replied me. The have been up 3 times in 6 months, what's is going on with AES? I have sent numerius complaint emails but no one replies correctly. Its like they dont read the email. I sent cancellation notice 4 weeks ago and was told id be charged 50 for cancellation and asked why i wanted to cancel!
I got an offer with other company but I have to pay for cancellation I am very disappointed with this. Defensively I want to cancel my account after 7 years.

Terrible customer service. Been with aes many years. But they constantly miss collection of bins. Glass bin not been lifted in months. I have sent numerius complaint emails but no one replies correctly. Its like they dont read the email. They are the worst! 4th week in a row now that they've failed to collect my bins. Little to no customer service, and when you do get through, you are met with complete incompetence and arrogance. Stay away from this company!!!!!

Poor, Poor Customer Service
Everytime I contact customer service it reaches a new low. I have asked a number of times when my glass bin will be collected and each time I get a different excuse and fictitious date all to make you go away for a bit. I have no issue with the date changing but communication to customers is key and delivering on promises.
