PROFITS OVER PEOPLE

PROFITS OVER PEOPLE - HONESTLY ((AVOID))
Look. The simple fact they don't engage with any reviews from their customers should be enough to scare you away from these clowns. They only care about money and not providing a professional service or even engaging with you. This company simply deserves to die a death to save so many people the hassle of dealing with such a mismanaged and poor excuse for a company. Sh 1 t rolls downhill in my experience so don't expect anything to change soon. Cancelled account over half a year ago, they never collected the bins(as arranged) and they now sent a collection agency after some payment they think is due. Possibly the worst Irish Brand I've had the misfortune to deal with.

I live in wexford town

I live in wexford town. Bord na Mona have missed my organic bin collection 10 times over a year. Horrendous service. Appalling customer service. Enough is enough.

Very similar experience to others

Very similar experience to others. Missed collections many times and when we contacted them we were told bins would be collected which never happened. After many phones calls I finally got confirmation that our account would be closed and the money paid upfront (for which we received no service) would be refunded. That was 6 weeks ago and we are still waiting for the refund! Just appalling customer service and very difficult to deal with.

Missed bin collections

In my previous home I had not one issue. Since we've moved it's been an absolute nightmare. Brown bin collected every second week but no blue bin.alot of phonecalls and overflowing bins. Ready to just change company.

Worst company to deal with

Worst company to deal with. Black bin was missed countless times was told they would send someone out to collect it on 4 occasions using excuses such as the truck broke down or the barcode was wrong on my bin or that the girl I was talking to In customer service left last week. Cancelled contract and moved to panda and no problems since. Avoid at all costs.

Bad bad bad

Based on my frustration, Please do not to getting into trap of this poor company if you are living in county Kildare. I shifted early January 2024 to Kill, Nass and requested to transfer my account to new house. It has been more than one month by now they haven’t collected single bin yet. They are torturing me. I took numerous calls ( every time you have to hang on at least 20 minutes to get the line) and no one to take the responsibility of customer complain. I emailed several times, they take ages to answer your email and you get nonsense on response. All their concern is payment, but no one to resolve simple customer issue. Shame on you

AVOID THIS COMPANY

By far the worst service provider I’ve ever used. They don’t deserve the 1 star I’ve given them.
I moved to them just under a year ago, and right from the start, there were problems. The first collection was missed. They said they’d prioritise a re-collection, but it never happened.
They still regularly miss my bin, and I’m stuck with rubbish until the next scheduled collection. They do nothing to help. They can’t be trusted to empty my bins. When we’re home, we watch to make sure they empty the bin. I’ve witnessed them walk past and I’ve had to go out and call them back to empty the bin. It’s a small cul de sac here, so it’s easy to see it and they drive past it twice!
I now have to take video of my bins on the footpath as date/time stamped evidence, as the Depot claimed we hadn’t left our bin out at all on one occasion. They had moved the bin up outside my neighbours house, but not emptied it. I’ve seen the men pull 2 bins up to empty and obviously the forgot mine.
They added an extra charge to my invoice at the beginning - they still haven’t removed it 10 months later!
I made a formal complaint FAO Keith Ryan on 2 separate occasions last summer. There’s no dedicated complaints contact. The first complaint was completely ignored, the second resulted in my bins being monitored for 2 months, whatever that means. Ultimately, nothing has changed.
Currently, my waste bin, and the bins of everyone in my area, have been out for collection for 2 weeks straight, as the lorry broke down and they said they would organise collection. They never updated us. I phoned, sent email and Facebook Messenger messages and was told it would be collected, as have my neighbours. I have another wheelie bin load in my kitchen to add to it tomorrow. I’m hoping the cats, birds and rodents don’t get at it before collection,
Customer Service, and communication in general, is non-existent. I’ve spent hours on the phone to them in the short time I’ve been a customer. You’re lucky to get someone to speak to on the phone. No-one responds to emails. Every aspect of the business is unreliable. Formal complaints are ignored. No refunds or compensation for numerous missed bins, not even an alternative course of action for our rubbish when it builds up. I’m paying for a service that I’m not getting.
I’ll definitely be moving on when I’m out of contract.

Truly awful

It's hard to believe a company's service can be so bad. They have missed 5 collections in a row now and i have to spend half a day on the phone trying to speak to someone after each missed collection but it's impossible to get anyone. They are awful, worst company I've ever had to deal with.

Bins still to be collected after cancelling

Had no problem with them while I had them for collecting the bins, but now that I've canceled the service, the bins (empty of course) are waiting to be collected. Emailed them and phoned them 3 times, only answer: "Yes, I'm putting this for collection as urgent, you'll get a message to leave your bins out", yeah my ar**. Never came and this had been like 3 months now or more.

AES Navan - horrible service

Horrible service.Ended contract almost half year ago and bins are STILL at the front of my property.Customer service is a joke.Calling them is waist of time, no answer so far I tried.Aes don't deserve even 1star.

Worse bin company ever

Worse bin company ever! In the past year hiked their rates twice. For what???? In the beginning we'd get missed collections. Customer service is awful. Wait 30 minutes, if they answer at all, to get someone who couldn't care less. When we moved we had to move our own bins because they never showed up to move them, like they said they would. Glass collection is hit and miss. Sometimes they pick up, sometimes they don't. Finally got fed up with rate hikes so am now switching with a much cheaper company. I've emailed twice to give them my 30 days notice... no reply. Shocker. So now I've cancelled my direct deposit with them. I bet they'll care now.

Absolutely abysmal!

Absolutely abysmal!
Moving company, god knows how much we are paying for bins as the website to manage your account is the worst I have ever seen.
Honestly, what will it take? Probably for all customers to leave.
Avoid at all costs.

What is happening with this Company?
I am with them for years and they used to be reliable and customer service was good (while they were AES). Have to say, they didn't miss any collection so far and guys who are collecting bins looked rough but actually they always had nice Hello for me. What is terrible is their web site and accounts, no track of any payments, just very bad, user interface needs urgent fix. Unfortunately for that reason I'll move to other service provider.

Avoid.

If I could give a zero I would. I moved house, needed to move my bins to the new house, over the past 2 months I have rang customer service several times (left on hold for over half hour on multiple occasions I have never got to speak to anyone and I have sent multiple emails. Complete disgrace.

I used to receive notifications when collection times change,or low on credit, but none for last few years.They have not collected bins over Christmas, could not get through on phone, emailed several times, no response. I will be changing service ASAP.

Customer service is non existent they…

Customer service is non existent they don't reply to emails at all. Called as my bin hadn't been collected 2 Xmas weeks in a row and the girl promised me someone would be in contact but nothing. Full bin now until 2 weeks time with Xmas to get through. Absolute joke and no regard for thier customers. I was out on the road literally waving my arms and shouting and the lorry just drove past after bin being out for 3 days as they sent out incorrect texts. Canceling my direct debit will be moving to another company. Can't recommend.
