Communication and service with bord na mona is not the best, I don't know what we are paying for, there is no calendar that we could print out so that all residents of the house know what garbage is being collected, at the last minute we receive information on the phone what garbage will be collected, it is very inconvenient.
Bad, avoid
Over 10 years with them , multiple missed yearly collections without explanation or apology , website does not allow you to download glass collection calendar and no text message sent to remind of qtrly collection. Apparently send out yearly contract renewals but no record of this but they expect €50 cancelation charge.
Moved to Bord Na Mona in February after…
Moved to Bord Na Mona in February after many years with Panda. Got an excellent price and after some initial teething problems as it was a new route I have had no issues at all. Bins are always collected and more often than not they are collected in the morning. Added bonus is getting glass bin collection.
Overcharged a vulnerable 85 year old…
Overcharged a vulnerable 85 year old O.A.P by over €300. When a relative discovered this they contacted AES re same they admitted to the overcharging but are very reluctant to refund the money despite numerous requests over the last few months. Beware of this company.
Awful
This company needs to be reported. Poor customer service, misleading and fraudulent website, shows minus balance when you top up. Missed collections.

1 star is to much
1 star is to much. Awful company trying to do everything as cheaply as possible. Outsourcing call centres to companies that know nothing about the industry. Just awful service from dealing with them on the phone to dealing with their drivers. They are the lowest of the low. Avoid at all costs
Shocking service
Absolutely appalled with AES Service to their clients. They have given me no option but to leave and for over a month now my contract has ended and they still haven't collected their bins which is taking up all my space for new bins. I have called and emailed for the past few months and not even a response. Shocking service, would highly recommend you not going with AES. I am not the only one that has serious issues with them.
Totally useless website
I have tried a number of times to pay my annual bill today. It is a nightmare just trying to log in to MyAccount, as has been the case for the last two years at least. Could you invest some resources to make the website work - please. Its not rocket science.
Appalling service
I’ve been a customer for 10 years. Lately this service has got progressively worse. Both my orange bin and my brown bin hasn’t been collected this week. My neighbours are the same. No customer service, I raised tickets where they promise to return the call within 24 hours. That hasn’t been done. My neighbours have phoned their call centre where it was promised collection today. Not done.
Have missed three collections and late…
Have missed three collections and late many other times, Courtown, Co Wexford. Ignoring all emails. Trying to cancel the account and they believe a €50 cancellation fee should be paid despite the reason for cancelling is as a result of lack of service.
Missed 3 collections in a row - avoid this company!
Missed 3 collections in a row, despite calling regularly to make sure bins would be collected, as they are now overflowing. No contact between customer service and collection teams so could never provide an update on where the collection team was on the day - this makes no sense. Was told each time that a re-collection would be possible, only for nothing to happen. Terrible customer service - have to chase for updates and waiting on call for up to 20 mins at a time. When I looked to cancel my contract, was told would have to pay 50 euro cancellation fee, which I have refused to do as haven't had any service in nearly 2 months now. This is an unacceptable level of service - please avoid this company!
Poor communication
I'm very disappointed with this companies poor communication. I was supposed to be contacted earlier this week regarding my bin collection being rescheduled. The bank holiday collection never happened. Its now Thursday and still I haven't been messaged or called. I tried calling myself but couldn't get though to the customer service. It's been nearly 3 weeks at this point since my waste bins have been collected. I'm seriously considering switching to a different company as now I'm going to be out of money due to having to purchase a skip bag since no more rubbish fits in the bins and I cannot wait any longer.

Issue resolved quickly after Bank Holiday weekend - followed up with CS team when my usual collection was completed on Saturday but didnt happen. Called up and they advised completion on Wednesday - bin picked up this morning :) thanks Aoife for your help

Worse company. Started problem with delivery bins,I was waiting more than month.Always problem with collect bins . Don't recommend this company
3 months waiting on bins to be picked…
3 months waiting on bins to be picked up from previous tenant. Keep getting the usual "someone will be out to collect them in the next week". Residents Committee are on to me because they are an eyesore on the street.
The worst website ever
The customer service has been relatively good, they reply to me fast but my issue is with their website.Its one of the worst websites I've ever dealt with which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for an essential service like this. There basically NO way to reset your password, because their website is just so broken and there's always some errors popping up. I also had issues paying, again due to the faulty website, I just got lucky that it accepted a different card in the end.
Something is going on with AES
Something is going on with AES. We were due a refuse collection on Saturday 4th of May to cover the normal Monday collection (bank holiday)
No one turned up in the whole area of Rosslare Harbour.
They then promised a make up collection on Saturday 11th. No one turned up In the area again. Customer service is useless as they don’t seem to have any communication with the collection department. They seem to just stick to a script

Total rock bottom. I still have uncollected bins even though they have been paid for.
Crap service
Absolute sham of a company , cancelled my account 2months ago and still waiting for them to collect empty bins .
At this stage iam going to bring them direct to there office and leave them there .
All the phone calls are falling on deaf ears .
Terrible Customer Service
Terrible Customer Service. Initially signed up based on terms and conditions explained by the Sales Agent. When I got my contract the T&Cs were different. Took a good while until I finally managed to speak to someone and was informed the T&Cs in the contract were there correct ones. Cancelled the service and they still have not collected the bins post-cancellation, 2.5 months since!
