Incompetent

customer service is a disgrace
overcharged and no one will deal with it
just keep getting emails looking for my address and phone number ...... yet no calls or my issue addressed

Fraudulent company

Can't even give it one star
I top up with 20 euro and it breaks it down into several payments, sometimes some of my money is stolen and they can't explain why and what happens
Sometimes they double charge for bin collection and won't answer the phone or e mail you back to get a refund
Someone should look into this company's accounts as there's theft going on!

Probably the best bin collection…

Probably the best bin collection service in wexford never any missed collections a handy sms reminder evening before also a glass bin provided which is convenient bins always put back tidy by workers compared to neighbours with another company left on road or down the road 🙄..never a issue renewing each year just a quick call to customer service if you want to discuss or get more information on your charges for the comeing year alternatively just use the Aes online account portal for quick online payment Kayleigh with customer service was very pleasant to deal with for this year's payment..couldn't fault 🙂👍

Avoid BNM bin collection service if…

Avoid BNM bin collection service if living in Kilcavan/Geashill area Co Laois. Multiple missed collections, multiple messages with dates for bin collections that never happen and appaling customer service on the phone as there is a complete lsck of empathy for the fact they leave you weeks without any collection service.

AVOID - Repeated missed collections

We just cancelled our account as it has been nothing but problems with BNM... Every other week we had a missed collection, followed by promises of reschedules that often never came and when they did it was only because myself and my partner hounded them about it so much. I had signed up to direct debit and don't know what they were at but everytime I logged into the portal it was showing me very random amounts in charges and "credits" (e.g. Charged €8.76 here and credited €0.34 there). The customer service agents we spoke to couldn't even make sense of it or provide us with a definitive answer as to what our total contract fee was The fact that customer service agents can't (or refuse to) transfer calls between themselves or contact the site manager directly is bananas. Only when we "threatened" going to the media about lack of service did we get any movement; and even then it was poor and ultimately resulted in us going with a different provider. I'm not sure if it's just the area we are in, but if you live in East Meath/Louth AVOID AVOID AVOID. I guess there's a reason all our neighbours are with Oxigen or Panda. Don't know how this company is still in buisness based on our experience.

The most incompetent customer service…

The most incompetent customer service staff I have ever come across and don't deserve one star and they try to fob you off.Sent them and email 3 months ago regarding my account and they said they would issue one in 7-10 working days still waiting.Yesterday sent them another email about their failures regarding my account and they sent an email back asking what they could do to keep me as a customer 🤣🤣🤣 an said I would have to pay a cancellation fee of €50 🤣🤣🤣.In other words they can't be bothered to investigate my issues with them.I was originally with Thornton's who pulled out of my area and account was taken over by AWD and never had an issue with them.I'm on pay as you go and they still try to screw you over.Stay well clear of this Company.

Changed from Mr.Binman in October

Changed from Mr.Binman in October, no bins were delivered, 6 weeks later they delivered them. Then they wouldn’t collect them, I put them out every week, rang and emailed every week, no collection. I then cancelled and they said they would collect within 28days, no one collected. I phoned almost every day for two weeks, promises and promises. Requested a call back from a manager, didn’t get.
AVOID and save your self money and sanity 😂

Missed collections

Missed collections, when I finally cancelled they told me I need to pay a cancellation fee of €50 even though I was paying them for a service I wasn't receiving. The man on the phone who I delt with couldn't be less interested if he tried and to top it all off he said it could take up to a month before they bother to collect the bins.

household bin servises

-10 stars for this horrible company, I did deal on the phone in January 2024 with one of the agents for hall 2024,25 e/m paid 300e for the hall year in advance, and now I am trying to extend my bin collection services and the call centre agent saying to me I didn't pay for the last two months in 2024 :):):) so guys KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL SCAM U LIKE ME and I am not the only one meath area they done this to hundreds of customers AVOID AVOID.

Kills me to even allow one star here.
Had a rep from BNM call to me end of June 2024, adviser on rates etc and his selling point was that there were no excess weight charges. I had already paid for my bins for July with previous company so agreed to sign up with effect from September. Low & behold, I have been charged for excess weight however when I checked the rates they were using they were significantly higher than what the rep gave me. When I queried this with them, I was advised their rates change every six months so the rates the rep gave me in June were no longer valid and the July-Dec rates applied to me - I advised this was false advertisement & also mentioned that if any changes to rates they must notify their customers, to which they did not.

Anyways I now have to pay a €50 get out early fee, and it will be the best €50 I spend because BNM are incapable of maintaining customers at the rate they are going & with their incompetent customer service.

If you are considering BNM, stay well away!

I am a former customer waiting on the…

I am a former customer waiting on the bins to be collected, now are over 50 days since I am waiting for Bord na Mona to take their bins back. This is the worst service I've ever encountered. I've emailed Siobhan Clinton, their senior customer service agent for 5 times and she wasn't able to resolve the issue. If you are trying to get them on the phone, it takes at least 20 min.

Awful

I had an almost laughable experience with AES. After several missed collections for brown and glass bins. Decided to change provider. I informed AES who said I must pay a cancellation fee. Even after I had explained the lack of service (and reported the missed collections) their explanation was the brown and glass bin are "complementary" and that my recycling and general had been collected!
Their bins are still at my residence until I get a weekend to either bring them.back directly to them, or to the dump.

Absolute gangsters!!

Absolute gangsters!!! AES were Continually adding "admin fee" to my account until I challenged them on this and they still couldnt explain what this fee was for!! I would urge any customer of AES who reads this to look at your statements, question this fee, and get your refund.
Yesterday I receive the trademark AES text at half five in the afternoon telling me my account will expire unless I make a payment - even though my account is up to date as I overpay each month by 0.83c!!! How monumentally frustrating! So I call this morning and after I wait half an hour just to talk to someone with broken English working from home who (as usual with these crowds) cannot get me a manager - he tells me I owe €26 on my account even though I am fully paid up and up to date! He patronised me by telling me if I pay this €26 he will reduce my monthly charge on the bin collection for the rest of the contract to €30... this isn't anything but extortion and gangsterism. Off I go to the CCPC to lodge an official complaint. I am going to see if Oxygen have a better offer - it wouldn't be hard to beat this level of ineptitude/extortion anyway.

Horrific experience, don't waste your time or money on this company

Seriously, just read the sheer amount of 1 star reviews here, I'll be reiterating what's already been said. Just don't bother with this company. They are untrustworthy, liars and totally incompetent.
I have been with BNM for nearly 4 years and had 4 different bins with them (waste, organic, recycling & glass). They have missed so many collections and I have all the texts to prove that. But that's not even why I'm reviewing today. I recently moved address and the whole process trying to change the address on my account and get my bins delivered to me by BNM has been an absolute nightmare.
I was told that all my bins would be serviced at my new address initially, which is why I didn't just cancel with them at that point. I was told that within 7 days after the address change that my bins would be delivered to me. 2 weeks passed, no bins. I obviously call to ask where the bins are. I'm told by the rep they would absolutely 100% be delivered on the 1st October. They delivered my waste and recycling bins on the 2nd. I ring later that week to find out where my other 2 bins are and I'm told that the organic bin delivery was "rejected" due to it being "too full" and it was left at the old address. I had ensured it was emptied before I vacated my last property, my account history proves that - I also checked my account and there is literally another collection history for this bin 2 weeks after the last one - weight: 0. "Too full" huh? BNM are liars.

I'm also told at this point that they don't in fact service the glass bin at my new property. But they won't be changing the price I'm paying because it's "complimentary".

I put out the recycling bin the night before it was due for collection (as per the text I received) and lo and behold, they don't collect it.

After, I email informing them of this missed collection and the fact that I've received no service from them for weeks, they now decide to tell me that the organic bin isn't in fact serviced at my new property! After all that, after lying to me about the bin being too full, it turns out I was never going to get it any way.

BNM's communication has been abysmal - every one you talk to is different and everyone has a different piece of misinformation to give.

I've requested the cancellation of my contract, explaining my experience. BNM didn't apologize, didn't credit the missed collection and still charged the €50 cancellation fee. Absolute scandal of a company, they don't even come close to upholding the legal service they're supposed to be providing, not to mention the service they claim to provide on their customer charter. Don't waste your time signing up for this company!

Worst bin company AVOID AVOID. Multiple missed collections for no reason. Dreadful customer service that don't respond to emails. Cancelled my account three months ago got charged twice after and no refund even though they said they would. Still waiting for bins to be taken away. Never again
