With them two years each year near end of contract bins are not collected. Checked account should be in credit instead In 434€ Im arrears ?? They do not fulfill their obligations for which they ask for money.
Refuse to issue invoices -
Invoices issued by the company are paid in FULL - yet they refuse to collect my bins!!!
The reason? - I owe for excess weight and a monthly increase since the annual bill was paid in full - so why have they not invoiced me for this????
If I owe excess weight then invoice me. They put a total figure I owe in an email but not a breakdown of how they arrived at that figure - they pull numbers out of thin air!
I spoke with a girl who verbally told me the breakdown of the excess weight - does not make sense - the dearest month is eight times the cheapest month (and it wasn't even Xmas or a party during the dearest month).
Companies issuing invoices to customers is normal procedure - why do BNM not want to issue an invoice and why are they going back to Sept 22 with their excess weight charge - I should have been invoiced long ago!
They don't operate in a professional manner and it is the customers fault (in their eyes!)
I haven't even gone into the missed collections and several texts in one week where the collection day kept changing; nor have I gone into the agreement I had with them when I paid the annual bill in full and I was told there would be NO MONTHLY INCREASES during the coming year - yet they are now trying to renege on that promise.
I have today emailed a member of the Board in the hope things will get resolved.
I had to give one star - but in reality I should have been able to give zero stars!

These are without doubt a bunch of scamming scumbags , taking money and no bin collecting, last bank holiday wkd bins were left Thursday evening for collection on Saturday morning, they never bothered to collect ( this is the sixth time ) when I asked the lorry driver 2 weeks later , he was in total denial and called me a liar . Fcukin disgraceful service and attitude

Missed bin collections
Extra weight charges that don't make sense, €36 extra with the standard cost per month for 2 lifts of a standard bin with no extra bags.
Ridiculous wait times when u ring them of between 20-45mins before someone actually decides to answer the phone. Probably due to the horrible service they provide.
The staff that answers the phone has no manners and has no interest in trying to help you.
The online app saying there is a balance owed and on the phone they try to charge u an extra €50 and tell u the online portal is wrong.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, TOO MUCH HASSLE AND DEFINITELY SCAMMING PEOPLE.
Unreliable service
Was with BNM for 7 months before having to switch . They would constantly miss bins and the recollections organised . After missing our last bin they then missed the next 3 follow up dates for that bin to be collected
Each time we were told our location would be noted by the delivery site manager so it would not be missed. We have now switched and I would not recommend them to anyone

Absolutely disgusting company for not collecting the bins .The lorry driver's are disgraceful in saying they call when they actually don't. 24to 48hours before someone can call you back and they don't. No complaints number for them at all staff the other side of the phone can't give honest answers when ask.They don't wait 24 -48 hours to take payments .I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM A 1 STAR

Absolutely useless. They “forget” collections and then don’t do anything about it.

Appalling. I’ve had issues since we set up. Can’t even set up a direct debit. Constantly missing collections. I never received a glass bin even though I pay for it. I’ve been with them four years and the only reason I haven’t moved is because they’re so incompetent in afraid they won’t cancel properly and I’ll be left with the bins.

Absolutely terrible service. Constantly missing collections. AES were a decent company but I'm totally fed up with this and will be cancelling. Drivers who completely ignore you standing in the rain trying to show them the bins they've ignored!! 0/10
Took both of my bins off of me
Took both of my bins off of me, didn’t leave a note, didn’t say why. My payments are up to date. A neighbour saw them taking them. Ridiculous.
Paying for continuous missed collections
I have been with AES for years but trouble started when we moved house and have had continuous missed collections. Spent hours trying to get through to customer service over the past couple of months and found them very unpleasant. I had no alternative but to cancel my account and was told I’d have to continue paying for 30 days which is very disappointing as I’m expected to pay for a service they are unable to deliver. They should refund customers where they are not upholding their own terms and conditions.
Rubbish Pilling-up
We just moved in and we have a lot of garbage for the black bin, they didn't collect for the 1st week then our overflowed bin wasn't collected. It will eventually pill-up if they are not collecting all the garbage bags. Not happy with their service.

Please any prospective customers who are considering getting bins for domestic refuse Please please please do not under any circumstances go with AES Bord Na Mona. To say the customer service with this company is horrific is an understatement. My account went overdue last August and this dreadful company never informed me of this even though last summer I sent them a direct debit mandate instead just 3 weeks ago my bins just stopped being collected. This was how i found out about the outstanding monies on my account. In September of last year i received a text informing me there was a problem with my account so I rang and was told everything was fine and that the text was incorrect and all was well and then my bin collection stopped. Again I rang customer service and was lied to about a letter was sent which I never received and that two separate payments of 100 euros I made to the company last year were not on record on my account. So last week I spoke again with another agent who said I could clear the arrears by paying 20 euros a week she also said once they had received the first payment which I made last week of 40 euros my bins would be collected again from today. So I have just returned home and my bin is still uncollected. I have had enough of this dreadful company and the appalling customer service and enough of all there lies that I have just spoken to a retired Solicitor friend of mine and he has said legal action may be the only way to resolve this. I hope you have got this far in this genuine review and seek refuse collection from another company. AES ARE DREADFUL.

The service does not reply to emails, no contact with the management No information and no contact with the management It remains to report the matter to the CCPC and MCC No one removes the containers and no response Embarrassing and possible only here
Five weeks without a collection
Moved house and five weeks later my old bins are still outside waiting to be removed. The bins at my new address have not been emptied for five weeks! Customer service is a disgrace and yet still being charged for the last five weeks
Worst service ever
When they changed bin collection dates from the 26th to the 24th of December I didn't get a notification. When I called on the 27th to report a missed collection I heard about the change for the first time from an automated message. Have been contacting the customer service every day since then, they said they sent an email to the site manager in Offaly who apparently hasn't replied in 3 days so far meanwhile my garbage is piling up
What a horrible company to deal with
What a horrible company to deal with! They don't pick up the phone, and even after leaving a message with my name and number to an actual person, and being promised of a call back, still no call back! I emailed them to try to get the situation rectified, they said they would contact the urgent removal team (as the issue is that the previous owner left his bins at the property as Bord Na Mona told him they would pick them up at the end of his billing cycle) It's been a whole month and those bins are still at the property, in the way of my other bins and of furniture delivery! I have emailed them again and just keep getting the run around, still nothing has been fixed.
AWFUL SERVICE
I signed up to their bin collection 2 MONTHS AGO. I keep being promised they’ll pick our rubbish up “next week” and “next collection” and now I have 2 MONTHS WORTH of trash sitting outside my house because of their mistake. This is absolutely ridiculous.
