About Affordable Art Fair

Written by the company

When Will Ramsay established the Affordable Art Fair in 1999, his vision was to create a relaxed and welcoming environment in which art-lovers could browse and buy 1000s of original contemporary paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints.

Fast-forward 22 years and Will’s ethos still holds true; our fairs around the world welcome thousands of visitors, who can take their pick from a mix of local, national and international galleries showcasing a huge array of artworks by established artists and rising stars, all priced under £7,500/€7,500/$10,000.

We hold fairs in London, New York, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Brussels, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne. Each unique fair is the ideal day out with family and friends, filled with a creative smorgasbord of artist performances, innovative talks and tours, hands-on workshops, live music and irresistible restaurants and bars.

In total over 2.8 million people have visited an Affordable Art Fair, and we have helped a staggering 538,000 artworks find happy new homes.

Super friendly and quick!

I bought 2 pieces from Affordable Art Fair, both arrived within 2 weeks, very well packed and super friendly service from artists / studios. Highly recommend!

Lovely piece

Lovely piece, just as described. Arrived safely and promptly once dispatched.
Only thing is I had to chase my
Original
Order after a slow response. Turned out the piece I wanted had already gone which I wasn’t told. Bought an alternative that was suggested and really happy with it.

My contact at the affordable art fair…

My contact at the affordable art fair was Sarah Casebury. She has provided me with quick and relevant answers on all my questions! So I certainly will visit the website or one of the galleries again!

Best wishes from a satisfied customer, Ed Nijsen

Misleading advertising and slow customer service.

The product I received was a poster. Not a signed work of art but a simple printout. There was nothing sent along with the product as proof of authenticity. For €460 euro's that it ridiculous. I contacted customer service straight away and received sporadic replies to my emails. At this time I am still waiting to get a clear view of what to do with my return.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to give us your valuable feedback! I am sorry to hear that you not been entirely satisfied with the service.

Most galleries dispatch a certificate of authenticity separately, this is in case the artwork goes missing in transit.

We have been in contact with you directly regarding your return. If there is anything more we can do in your specific case please don't hesitate to get in touch with us at help@affordableartfair.com or on +44 (0) 208 246 4844.

Lovely picture

Great - lovely picture.
Is there any facility which remembers what you have looked at and liked? There were a couple which I couldn’t remember the artist - lost them and never found them again! Like a wish list
Best wishes

Good selection of affordable art, but high delivery charge

Good selection of affordable art. I chose 2 pieces. I was surprised by the very high delivery charge (£22), and then disappointed when the first piece arrived bent and creased. This was rectified promptly by the artist once I complained to AAF, but only served to highlight the unnecessarily high delivery charge. If you're going to charge that much, at least make sure your delivery partner is reliable!
I am pleased with the quality of art I received however.

Affordable but beautiful

I've been receiving the newsletter for a while now and suddenly saw a piece that I absolutely loved. It was simple to order and arrived in days. I am thrilled with my All Curled Up sculpture by Tania Babb. It really was affordable but so beautiful.
