I’ve been on a self awareness journey to seek out family history and biblical history journey to know who, where and how people who look like me fit into the the history of the world. African Ancestry is a valuable piece of my life puzzle that was distorted and or destroyed!

Although I loved the experience, the process took forever! Plus, there's no community or a way to look up info on the site about the countries or tribes (migrations, info on other tribes, etc). I understand that there's a Facebook group, but that would require me to sign up for facebook when I'd rather not. Improve the online experience. With that, I gave 4 stars, cause overall I loved all that I've learned.

Helped me understand myself more with finding out which countries and ethnic groups I descend from. Have made friends with many Mende people in Sierra Leone and plan on traveling there and to Cameroon where my father's side comes from next year!!! Thanks again!!!!

I am totally surprised of my paternal results and could not wait to share it with my son's, daughter's, family and friends! The process was simple and clearly explained. The process needs to be improved. I was sent the wrong kits. I order paternal and maternal kits. Why am I still waiting on my maternal test. Both kits use my dna so I don’t understand why they couldn’t use the paternal test to check my maternal side or at least to speed up the process

My Ancestral Journey was one of much anticipation to get my results. Pleasantly surprised with the analysis and to know where my maternal line can be found in our Motherland. Recommend you to everybody who is seriously seeking that reconnection.

I was hoping the results came with facts about the African group from which we came from. I see that we have to go back to the website to download info about them but it would be nice if the facts came with the results.

I thought my results would be more detailed, and come with additional information about my people. It is great to be connected to a tribe, but the reason most people want this analysis is for INFORMATION. As professional researchers, you should have information about each tribe, history of the tribe, something tribe specific that comes with my certificate. I was expecting more, especially for the cost. I feel more satisfied with my Ancestry DNA results, and that is a shame. African Ancestry can do better.

I've had nothing but great experiences working with AA over the past year. My family and I have ordered 3 test kits along with several other products during this timeframe, and everything arrived on time, with no errors. They've answered all of our questions about their test kits and other products to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them if you're interested in learning more about your African Ancestry! Been so happy to find out what tribes my paternal line shares dna with! Shoutout to Tsogo, Ateke, and Kota people of Gabon!

I first learned about African Ancestry by viewing YouTube videos. The process was thoroughly explained by the founder. I had both the Matriclan and the Patriclan DNA analyses, approximately one year apart. It takes a while between submitting your swabs and getting the test results. It is well worth the wait. I am excited to know where my ancestors came from,

The only reason why you didn't get perfect stars is because how long it takes to get the results if I can given a suggestion email the results So we can know Quicker. But I also do love the certificate so also continue to Mail them. Although then that you guys completely changed my life and I thank you.
