Much the same story as everyone else here. I bought a dress and jacket that arrived in the tiniest package. When I took it out it was crumpled and awful. Definitely not fit for purpose. Tried sending it back and they refused to send the return address or give my money back. Went to trading standards in the end. They should not be able to get away with it.

I bought from this company an evening dress it was really faulty and very expensive ,I have tried to email them regarding this issue but they said they will give me a 15% compensation to repair it. But they did not answer back and also tried to lie to me .
I bought the dress for my daughters weeding during the pandemic and it too big.untill now I have the dress and no return or repair.

Terrible company. Ordered a dress, it arrived but was faulty. I’ve had to keep chasing a refund for over 2 months. Still not received yet. Avoid this company, they are dishonest and disreputable.

The worst online experience iv ever had it was so difficult to get in touch with her Lily lol agown and i think she has a few more sites SCAM ARTIST ALL THE WAY DONT BYE FROM HERE PLEASE if i could put pictures i would soooooooo bad

If I was able to give a zero I would.
Please don't touch the company as I wouldn't want to see anyone else scammed by this company. If something doesn't fit, they won't let you return it and the return is in China. They ask you to reconsider and keep it as its made specifically for you apparently.
Material absolutely shocking. Cheap and cheerful for alot of money.
Please don't be fooled by this company.
Please approach your bank to open a dispute.

Omg I wish I had read these reviews this company is a scam and should be looked into please don't get anything of them they have no returns even though they say they do they make up there own sizes the quality is shocking not hand made or if it is it done by children not seamstress 😡

Do not understand how this website is still operating legally. The dress took weeks and weeks to arrive and when it did it had faults all over and generally very poorly made. Even the packaging had a tear in. I took pictures immediately and emailed the company. They asked for photos, ignored follow up emails and when they did reply they tried to say they weren’t at fault. I repeatedly asked for a return address so and a full refund. They said the dress could not be resold/restocked and that they wouldn’t refund me for the £19 delivery charge so asked if I would consider keeping it!! I said no and expect full refund. They then asked me to reduce the amount of refund I expect and they’d try... again I said no. They then stated that the material cost them 70% and labour 30% so they would refund us for the 30% labour and that’s it.

I cannot stress this enough. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY ARE NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY. I’m taking this further to try and stop this from happening to anyone else.

Horrible company, the dress looked nothing like the pictures and was completely the wrong size, then they still haven't provided return details.

DO NOT USE this website. They advertise a returns policy which they don’t honour. I’ve emailed multiple times all well within the 14 day period - and continued for two months with no sign of refund for three dresses. Poor fit, poor cut, terrible service. I’m £260 down and currently no sign of refund as they continue to insist I alter. This website should be taken down!

i carnt even begin, this is a totally unprofessional company. the dresses are a breach under the trad descriptions act, there refund policy they dont honor i dont think they even exisit. DONT DONT DONT but anything form them

Agown website are scammers, I bought two wedding dresses because on their website it was possible to return the dress, they did not want to give me the return address, they did not give back my the money, the dresses came dirty, the tulle was torn, the laces were with holes, if you do not want to lose your money no order from agown wedding dresses. in the e-mail they write something else and do something else, lie, dispose of the client on time, shock

Do not use this company you get no returns/invoice in your parcel and when I emailed them to say it was too tight they suggested I get it altered !

Agown is a scam, you don’t get what you order for and you will not get your money back.
They are NOT based in the UK. Now because people have got to know they are scam, they have changed their name to VoTi Dresses. Both are the same.
Please people, don’t buy from them.

This is the worst online company I have ever ordered from. The dresses were of very poor quality and when I tried to return them they wouldn't give a return address. I have now recieved a refund through my credit card but they are still emailing me to try to get money from me. They are beyond shocking, TOTALLY FRAUDULENT, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

I'm writing from Italy but it seems to be the same website.
So...: I ordered my wedding dress and, when it arrived, I was so so pleased, and enthusiastic, and satisfied with the purchase! The dress fits perfect and above all, it's exactly like the model I choose. I couldn't believe... really. Even the delivery time was absolutely respected.

Never ever buy anything from this company!

0 outof 10 for packaging and delivery ( dress screwed up in a plastic bag and I had to chase 3 times to find out where my dress was - and the tracker the use is still showing the goods as with distribution (it arrived 4 days ago!)

My dress was badly sized and poor quality and when I requested a refund, I was told to get a local seamstress to remake the dress at my cost and they are still refusing to send a return label and refund me

Having ordered, I felt suspicious of their website but ignored my hunch. I then received an email conforming the order in very poor English. I didn't realise the dresses were ALL bespoke as I ordered 2 dresses and said I would cancel the order. I was intially begged to keep the order as times were hard and when I insisted, was told, I would incur a handling fee of 20% of the cost of the order if I cancelled. Over the course of two weeks, I have repeatedly advised this is against UK consumer rights (2015). I was then offered 90% and I said fine, pay me 90% and I will contact Trading Standards and Paypal to log a dispute for the rest. They then (Lily or Alice) said I must obey their rules and they were doing me a favour returning 90% of my monies. I remained focused and said they had 100% of my money which I wanted returned. They then stated that as I had cancelled after 3 days (which is not true and they have a policy outlining what they will pay back by date of cancellation) then they only owe me 50%. I then had to take this to PayPal and have lodged a dispute against the company. This is a very brief outline of my experience and 2.5 weeks down the line, I am still a lot out of pocket. Please do not buy from them.

I have now successfully contested the refund through PayPal; I will await to see if the refund arrives....please do not accept shambolic, scam type services such as agowns. It has been stressful and upsetting but worthwhile.

My wife ordered a dress back in January. After many emails to ask why we had not received anything the dress finally came 10 weeks later. It was the wrong colour, and looked absolute rubbish. Not resembling the one in their catelouge at all. Consequently I have been asking to return it since then which is 8 months ago. They simply refuse to give an address as they wont accept any returns despite them advertising they do. I have had so many excuses. Be warned, Never, Never Never order from this firm. Their products are cheap and chatty, nothing like the products shown on their site. And when your not happy they will do nothing about it. Absolute robbery. I cannot believe Trading Standards allow them to trade in the UK.

Prom Dress for 16 yr old daughter in Yr 11 purchased as ‘dream dress Mum’ days before Govt lockdown & schools closed. Cancelled order. Promised refund. 4 months later, an A4 binder of email printouts prompted by self chasing up promised refund on March 18th 2020 from Lilly - not honoured. Ridiculous catalogue of excuses documented from Agown.
Parents please, I implore you, when experiencing same situation with this company, please seek help from your Bank that you paid through for refund/ credit to your bank account covered by Visa & MasterCard for 120 days from purchase & also inform Trading Standards as these people are FRAUDULENT SCAMMERS and MUST be held accountable. I could barely afford thIs expensive dress so my child used her savings, my daughter, whom worked so V. hard throughout her academic schooling is simply devastated that such unscrupulous people have robbed her of her chance to shine should there be a belated Prom organised by her school and of her piggy bank. COVID she understands but this fraudulent company has broken her trust in an adult world.
Agown owe me £211.99 & will be forced to refund it.

Disgraceful company. Do not buy from them I ordered in February and paid express delivery (14 days). I received it in May. No size label or wash labels. Definately not a size I ordered. No invoice.return slip in with garment. No paperwork at all. Sent email via their website for return address and no response yet their site says has to be returned in 15 days. Any body know where I can send it back to? I am taking this to trading standards. The item bought is sub standard with loads of loose threads. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY .!!!!!
