At a time of great grief and sorrow, Sarah and her suggested Celibrant Martin Grace helped myself and my family to arrange the funeral of my wife Barbara.
All of the arrangements were carried out out and in a calm and sensitive manner, and in such a way as to make it a beautiful celebration.
Nothing was overlooked, and everything went perfectly to plan and made a sad day as comfortable as possible.

Really informative and helpful steering me and my sister through the whole process. Jane was very accommodating with the visit appointment just after Christmas, In fact was a bank holiday. The order of service was finished off with decorative picture of white flowers. Our driver was lovely. Can’t rate this funeral directors highly enough!

I can't thank Claire at Freemante enough. She was excellent when Mum wanted to arrange to have a prepaid funeral a few years ago and really great when Mum passed away. The funeral was lovely and their care and attention was second to none. I can thoroughly recommend them.

My husband asked for a non attendance funeral I was worried that an undertaker would not handle this properly I can say that they gave me the most honest help and understanding and were hundreds cheaper than other funeral directors locally I cannot praise the staff there enough for their honesty and caring please give them a ring and trust them

Jane and Dawn at Park Gate recently organised the funeral of our Mum. We took out a funeral plan with Golden Charter 6 years ago and it made things so much easier. Jane and Dawn put together all of the elements of the funeral, efficiently, respectfully and with the utmost sympathy. Nothing was too much trouble and at times they went over and above what was expected of them. The day of the funeral was also expertly arranged and ran smoothly. We can't speak highly enough of Jane and would unreservedly recommend Freemantles to anyone looking for a funeral director who maintains the very highest standards of the profession

Saying goodbye to my husband Terry was the hardest thing I have ever had to do , I Was lucky to have my family around me and James at Freemantles was very professional and helped me through the ceremony.

With the sudden unexpected passing of our Mum, when times are difficult and we are feeling vunerable, we put our trust and rely on those with the experience in this field to support and guide us through. James and the Team were once again compassionate and understanding of our complex needs as a big family, nothing too much trouble from sourcing a horse drawn carriage with 3 beautiful horses, to a service of personal understanding of our Mum, we cannot thank you enough and would high recommend the service provided

James and team were so empathetic and helpful all the way through the process of organising my late dads funeral, we couldn’t fault them. I had never been into a Funeral Directors before but James put us at ease and explained everything so clearly, it really was helpful. His choice of celebrant, Martin Grace for my dad was spot on, we as a family couldn’t be happier with the way the whole process was carried out.

I would like to say that AH Fremantle is a wonderful funeral directors. I was shown so much support when my mother passed. Jane was brilliant and arranged everything I asked for and more. I felt reassured with everything, because she was so supportive. Jane arranged the service and tea after at Coldeast Mansion on the 7th of July, which was amazing, they had never had a service there before but although it was logistically challenging Jane made sure it was just as I wanted and it was all done with respect love &care from everyone in the team. I couldn’t have wished for anything more and it made a huge difference to me & my family. We wanted a celebration of my Mother’s life, and that’s exactly what we got from Jane & her team. I can’t thank them enough. Everything was as my mother wanted and people remarked how beautiful the whole funeral was.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you again

A H Freemantle were excellent in assisting us with my mums funeral particularly DIONNE.

Dionne’s care, understanding and expertise made a very difficult process for me and my family that little bit easier. Dionne went over and beyond to make sure we were constantly updated and supported.

The day went perfectly and how we wanted it to honour my mum

My wife Anne passed away at home at around 09:30.
The bearers arrived promptly and were very courteous and consoling, to me and the children, when removing Anne from the house.
Some days later Kate had a meeting with the family at our home and we discussed every aspect of what we would like to happen at the funeral.
Kate used her knowledge and experience, to guide us, offering possible options. She was also available to clarify or discuss details, at any time.
I visited the Chapel of Rest in Titchfield, to spend a short time, saying my farewell to Anne. it was a lovely quiet room and Anne looked at peace.
We live quite close to our Church and were able to use the Victorian Hand Bier to walk the coffin from the house to Church and back after the service.
On the day, everything went just as Kate and the family had planned. The Funeral director and Bearers looked immaculate.
The family and I feel that with Freemantle's help we gave Anne the best possible send off.

I cannot rate the service we as a family received from the Eastleigh branch highly enough. From the moment my "daughter outlaw" and I met Claire , we felt in safe and caring hands. She gave us all the options, helped us make sensible choices, but most of all handled the difficulties around my son's personal life , with care, understanding and diplomacy. We never at any time felt we were being pushed into a choice. Test Valley crematorium was a lovely choice . The only little niggle was nothing to do with the funeral directors, only where we had the wake as they ran out of drink and the finger food portions were very small and ran out, despite taking advice on numbers from them. But that was not the fault of A.H Freemantle. The team were lovely, and the director on the day, another Clare was also aware of the difficulties and managed everything with great care and diplomacy. Paul's family was able to carry the coffin with all the help provided. They definitely deserve 5 stars...more if I could. So thank you to the Claires, driver and the rest of the team on May 9th 2022 at Test Valley

A tricky situation for us as our 95 year old aunt who had not wanted any type of funeral service at all, certainly not religious! But after careful discussion with James and being guided by him everything went just right. Thanks so much for his sensitive advice and his partcipation in the service, introducing the speaker and offering final, very appropriate, thoughts.

Clare recently organised my mum's funeral she also organised my father's some years ago. On both occasions the service provided was sensitive and first class. I would highly recommend.
