James was absolutely lovely. From the first phone call to the undertaker, our requirements were fully discussed. They listened and understood exactly what we wanted and not what they thought we needed. James visited us personally and confirmed our belief that we had chosen the right people. We chatted about what we wanted to do and with their help, guidance and suggestions (to our advantage), everything went smoothly. James explained the procedure. The cremation was just how we as a family wanted it to be and I know my husband would have felt the same way.

The service my family and I received from Kate and the company was second-to-none. From the sympathetic initial meeting to the utterly professional conduct of the ceremony at the Crematorium they could not be faulted. The opening of the Chapel of Rest on Mothering Sunday for the family to visit was so very much appreciated by us all; an incredibly important moment for us all and an indelible memory. Thank you

We have no hesitation in recommending Fremantle as a reliable and sympathetic Company. Although we kept changing our minds about the required arrangements Sarah Martin was always very willing to help. The Funeral from start to finish was a lovely experience.
The Celebrant Martin suggested by Sarah was also excellent.

From the moment we booked an appointment to being taken to the wake, we felt supported and cared for. Everything was made very easy with an incredible attention to detail. Sarah made sure everything was perfect and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Our mother passed away in a care home. Freemantles handled everything for us, collecting Mum and ensuring she was well looked after. Dawn and Jane were outstanding in the care and support they provided as well as providing all the advice needed at a difficult time. Everything Jane said they would do happened exactly as promised. James's is a true gentleman and guided us through the process with sensitivity, diligence and professionalism in what is always a very challenging time. A.H Fremantle is an independent firm with a very personal touch differing from the “larger corporates” which felt much like an impersonal supermarket shopping experience. Their prices are also incredibly competitive in a emotional situation where one could easily be taken advantage of. James and the team are a delight to deal with. At an awful time in my life they made the process very straightforward with their calm attentive approach. Nothing was a problem and all of my wishes granted for a service my Dad would have loved.

From the first phone call James and his team were so respectful, they organised everything for my mums funeral with so much care and I cannot thank Rev Ann Boggust enough for such a lovely service who really gave my mum such a great service and send off, from the moment James and his team arrived with mum to take us to the funeral they showed such great compassion and care and we cannot thanked them enough, they even drove us to the wake after and dropped off the flowers back to our house, Thank you James and your team for making my mums last journey so respectful

So grateful to have found these wonderful people! With family spread around the world organising a 'usual' funeral was not really an option. When our Father died peacefully at home with me at his side, with just one phone call Freemantle made the process of laying him to rest so stress free. The gentlemen who arrived at the house to collect Dad for transportation to their chapel of rest were just wonderful. They were so respectful, carried him with such dignity I was rather overwhelmed by their kind thoughtfulness. His final journey from home was extremely professionally done, whereby the pall bearer walked slowly before the hearse for the length of our road, by which time most of our neighbours came out to stand and watch, heads bowed. This was unexpected, but added such a touching moment to an otherwise dreadful time for me, being alone at the time. From the moment Freemantle had received our Dad, their care and attention to detail in ensuring all of our wishes were fulfilled was second to none. Their handling of the sudden need for a Post Mortem was superb, meaning no stress or worry at all for our family. They just dealt with it all so calmly and professionally the processes could not have been more simple. I would highly recommend the lovely family business who made the worst time for me at least simple, with a far lower cost than any other funeral providers I have seen. I shall be eternally grateful for their kind service.
