We had a query re our Aira heatpump system which I initially raised by phoning the helpline. The young man who took the call (Jonathan) said he would speak to a technician and follow up asap. We received a very helpful email from Jonathan soon after the call, with comprehensive and detailed information. Extremely good, courteous, helpful customer service.

We are so very pleased with our recent Aira heat pump installation.
The installation team, Owen Rothwell, Gustavo Ledo and Luis Walker were professional, proficient, polite and friendly and they provided a brilliant service in somewhat challenging conditions, namely the extraordinary heatwave that we’ve just experienced!
They installed the system, needing to access all rooms and the loft space, with minimum disruption. Communication was clear and helpful and the work was carried out to a very high standard. It all looks fantastic and is working well.

I recently needed help resetting the thermostat, and Jonathan from Customer Care was incredibly helpful throughout. He responded quickly to my emails, patiently explained everything, and provided information about the ownership transfer process for when my bungalow is sold. When it became clear the thermostat needed further attention, he arranged for engineer Alfred to visit.

Alfred quickly identified the issue, got everything connected properly, and made sure the system was working as it should before he left.

What a week to install a heat Pump. We can only say a massive thank you and well done to our Aira install team of John Glynn, Colin Brown, Rio Douglas and Matty Taylor for all the work they have done this week installing a heat pump in the middle of a heat wave. All week they have been tremendous people to have about the house, getting the job done smoothly, methodically and with (what appears to be) no wasted time. They are also really nice people. They answered any questions we had and took their time with us newbies to the tech to explain how it all works. We knew before the install that things would be good once we liaised with the installation manager and from the first date of install everything worked seamlessly with deliveries arriving as scheduled and work progressing smoothly. It really was a professional, premium job.

Clear advice from Emily to explain the operation of the heat pump schedules and what can be seen remotely. It was good to hear that my system is operating correctly after nearly 2 years,

Aira Air Source Heat Pump engineer Scott Ireland, has undertaken my first two year service.
Scott was first class. Serviced the system, brought me up to the new specification via an updated electrical board with associated software / firmware, all in liasion with Sweden. He alined sensors, boiler pressure and repaired insulation as requied. Scott also attached the Heat Pump to the wall to meet safety regulations.
Scott was professional, infomative and friendly, the best advocate for Aira.
I am so thrilled with the system, the Aira people and now the service. Thank you!

I couldn’t be happier with the service I’ve received from Aira – the whole experience has been superb from beginning to end.
They responded quickly to my initial enquiry, and shortly after we had a friendly and knowledgeable consultant visit our home to explain everything clearly. This was followed by a thorough technical survey, including a detailed room-by-room heat loss calculation, which gave us real confidence in the quote provided.
Initially, Aira only recommended upgrading a few radiators and our 26-year-old cylinder, but I decided to go all in and replace all 17 radiators to create a completely new central heating and hot water system. Nothing was too much trouble, and they were happy to accommodate this.
Aira also took care of all the available grants, which made the process incredibly easy – they handled everything and simply deducted it from the final price.
Installation started on June 8th, when Matt Whitbread and his apprentice Ollie arrived. They were fantastic – professional, friendly, and extremely respectful of our home. They took into account that both my wife and I work from home, as well as our two lively Labradors who like to get involved!
Over four days (inc one day for electrics), they installed the entire system, including the heat pump, cylinder and 17 radiators. The quality of workmanship was excellent, and they left everything clean and tidy throughout. They really went above and beyond.
We’ve had a few small teething issues, but Aira’s support has been excellent, with a 24-hour team always quick to respond, keep us updated, and ensure we’re comfortable.
Although we haven’t fully tested the heating yet due to the current heatwave, the hot water system is excellent and works seamlessly with my Octopus tariff to keep running costs low.
Overall, I’m extremely pleased – the system looks great, is simple to use, and the entire team has been professional throughout. I would highly recommend Aira to anyone considering a heat pump installation.

We replaced a failed combi oil boiler (only 6 yrs old) with an Aira heat pump. Liked the look of it and the fact it had a 15 yr guarantee. James and Pete, engineer and tech surveyor were professional and friendly,
as were Simon, Ross, Tom and Darren who came to install the heat pump system in a small and challenging airing cupboard.
There was a slight blip the second day, Simon and Ross worked late until it was as all fully functioning.

Absolutely amazing service throughout the whole process, but especially from our installation team plumbers John Glynn and Ian May - both rocked up to our little slice of hell (renovation going as poorly as possible) and knuckled down to keep the install running as smoothly as possible. The whole team was also great to have in the house, they brought a really lively energy to the project at the time that we needed it most.

Emir and Rees did an incredibly neat installation, informing us all the way through the 4 day heat pump/hot water installation. Very professional team. Would highly recommend.

We recently had a heatpump system installed by Aira. Very happy with the installation, the engineers John Gylnn, Charlie Elliot, Rio Douglas, Blake Turner, Iulian Faliboga and Jasbir Rai were excellent.

There were a few nuances and snags to be resolved during the process, each was handled intelligently and efficiently.

The rest of the customer journey was also great, with a dedicated planner Alisha Williams on hand to answer questions and keep us updated throughout via phone and email.

Overall I'd recommend Aira based on the experience so far.

Daniel (Knowles) came to repair a leaky pipe from the installers of Aira which caused the ceiling in my shower room.
Daniel quickly identified the issue and replaced the complete pipe. Wish more engineers from Aira were as complete as Daniel!!!

Just upgraded from a gas boiler to a heat pump with Aira. The whole process has been great; well-planned trouble and stress free with a focus on fully meeting what we wanted. From the initial consultation, the in-depth survey and detailed design to the first-class three-and-a-half-day installation and handover. Everyone involved from Aira has been friendly, helpful and has shown great levels of skill, experience and knowledge. We particularly liked the quick response from Aira setting up convenient meetings, survey and installation dates with us. Good communication throughout. Aira sorted out all the paperwork associated with the grant. Minimum disruption during our install, the team minimized the time our electricity and hot water were off. Everything was kept clean and tidy and all the waste from the install was removed quickly as promised. The installation team (Scott Anderson, Iain Wood, Paul Martles and Luke) went out of their way to make the associated electrics and piping fit in with the exterior of the house and made use of the existing penetration in the wall due to the boiler. We are delighted with our new heat pump; we love the quality and design plus the fact that it runs quietly. We also like the app and internal controller; both are intuitive and easy to use and provide just the right amount of information and control. The final bonus is that the system is very efficient and provides lots of hot water.
