When I flew from Belgrade everything was on point. When I flew from Nis, they took us from plane and organised like immigrants, the lady checked my EU passport like I would be criminal, the flight had... See more

Worse airline
Worse airline. If you need to reach their customer service for any reason you are UNABLE. They do not answer. They owe me money and I have been trying to contact them for 4 months and no luck!
This company makes Ryanair looks like…
This company makes Ryanair looks like the best air company ever!
Booking Reference FUSWQN.
Looking as a company with just make money not thinking about clients.
150 pounds I paid for ticket 30 pounds for prebooking in Friday.
In weekends did not check my emails. Monday I need pay 50 pounds more, because prebooking just for 12 hours.
Call center just could tell you "SORRY", nothing help. Extremely not recommending this Company.
Do not book with air serbia
Terrible experience with Air Serbia.
I was given a 40-minute connection and explicitly assured by a stewardess that the next aircraft would wait. It did not. I missed my connection due to Air Serbia’s misinformation.
I was then rebooked with a five-hour wait, rerouted via Istanbul with another four-hour layover, and my final flight to Valencia was delayed by 1.5 hours. The disruption was extreme.
The lounge voucher provided was useless: poor quality, almost no food, and the lounge closed before my next flight.
Severe miscommunication, long delays, and inadequate passenger care. I do not recommend Air Serbia.
Air Serbia is an absolute nightmare
Air Serbia is an absolute nightmare. My baggage was destroyed, my flight delayed, and despite repeated follow-ups, they couldn’t care less. Customer service is as bad as their fleet – incompetent, indifferent, and unprofessional. This blatant disregard for passengers’ rights, in violation of the Montreal Convention and EC 261/2004, is shocking. Avoid these lines at all costs. Case nr 32865
Very dissatisfied as a Business Class…
Very dissatisfied as a Business Class passenger. During the control after customs and the scanner, the security worker opens my suitcase and takes out the desandorans that was there by mistake, but after that she decided to search all my hand luggage, turn it out - by the way, she is very rude and has a condescending tone, throws all my things out and leaves me to put them together myself. the bottom of the bottom - tickets paid for €2000
Exceptional service at AirSerbia from Athens to Belgrad as connecting flight
I had the pleasure of flying with AirSerbia (A319) and I must say that it was one of the most professional flight experiences I have ever had. from booking to landing, everything was superbly organized and the service was simply first class. The staff was nice, and really helpful. Maybe I did not have a chance to have a bad experience yet, but for now I have only praise. .
The AirSerbia staff is incredibly professional. The crew on board was always attentive and courteous!
Overall, I can only warmly recommend AirSerbia. For those who value high levels of professionalism, luxury and excellent service, AirSerbia is definitely the right choice.
Everything was smooth and nice. Even with 50min transit in Belgrad (and by the departure delays in Athens airport only 5 min Transit time in Belgrad) there were no issues. The next connecting flight to Dusseldorf waited direct next to the park position from the first flight and as i by the gate for Dusseldorf arrived one floor over, this was still not open yet!
True Odyssey from Athens to Stockholm
I booked a flight from Stockholm to Athens and back with a layover in Belgrade (50 and 40 minutes layover time). I knew the layover time was rough, but checked and saw that Belgrade airport is fairly small and thought it was okay. I didn't check trustpilot before, else I would have not done it.
Trip to Athens was the better one, but still very stressful. My flight to Belgrade got delayed while everyone was already seated in the plane and I was running for my life to reach the plane to Athens (I was the last person (they luckily waited) and closed it immediately after me. Staff at the gate was really friendly and on all 4 flights the most positive goes out to the cabin crew. Friendly and giving their best to serve the customers. My friends on a flight from Prague to Belgrade (where we were planning to meet), didn't make it as their plane got delayed for an unknown time (they booked a completly different flight with a different airline at their own expanse and hope that they get refunded by Air Serbia).
The trip back was way worse. It was a combination of multiple external issues (Greek plane communication crashed, Belgrade snow and Air Serbias lack of skill). First flight got delayed multiple times without clear communication, on Flightradar it was clear that the plane has not even started from the previous airport on the way to the current. In the end 7 hour delay with a clearly missed second flight. Once arrived in Belgrad at 1 am, pure chaos. 400 people stuck in a queue to get there new flight set up, another queue for a free hotel. Terrible and clearly understaffed for the chaos at the time (not just the Athens flight, but many others as well). Luckily there was some stuff realizing that it does not make sense to keep the order correct (baggage drop, check in, ...) and helped people at different places as well without discussing, but not all staff was like that. Some kept resisting to push you to the huge queue. I feel sorry for the people stranded there the whole night.
In the end I got a flight, that was not on the original flight list, seemed like they made something happen. But of course that one got delayed for more than 2 hours as well. Common pattern.
In the end, I will never ever use Air Serbia again, I am also not planning to use the plane to Belgrade in case I will ever visit Serbia. But again, love goes out to the staff that realized the situation, stayed cool and just did the best they could.
Had a flight with AirSerbia from Zurich…
Had a flight with AirSerbia from Zurich to Malta via Belgrade. The checked in bag was never delivered after 7 days. After providing AirTag info where bag location can be cleared seen in Zurich Airport T2, AirSerbia doesnt respond to email nor answer calls made to their CS hotline. Ridiculous how they just completely ignored their customers
Adventure Which Felt Like Hell
Oh God, what a torture this airline is. On the 4th of January 2026, the forecast said to expect huge snowfall in Belgrade, and somehow Air Serbia couldn’t predict what would happen. They didn’t prepare at all. They didn’t have enough personnel to deal with people needing to rebook their flights because of delays.
Our Air Serbia flight was delayed from our first destination, and we missed our connecting flight in Belgrade. Although the connecting flight was still on the ground and had almost an hour of delay, the gate was closed. I really don’t understand why they didn’t wait for us and why they closed the gate. But that was how the gate to hell opened.
Workers at the airport were organized in perfect chaos. They didn’t know what information they were giving out; everything needed to be double-checked with different personnel. The same goes for Air Serbia personnel. We were waiting in line at the Air Serbia ticket counter from 21:30 to 06:30 the following morning. We were standing in line for 9 hours, and there were people with small children waiting as well, but Air Serbia just didn’t care.
All we got was one bottle of water and one small sandwich after 4 hours, and then again nothing for another 4 hours. Nobody told us anything, no information, no emails, nothing. For probably more than 900 people who needed new tickets, there were only TWO people working.
The attitude of the workers was extremely rude and mean, but they are working in customer support, so of course they should know how to deal with angry people who are standing in line for so long without any information. After this fiasco, I lost all trust in them. This airline is not family-friendly actually, it is not customer-friendly, PERIOD. If you have a choice, stay away.
Everyone can understand that they cannot do anything about the weather (as we were hearing all the time from them), but you can deal with your customers in a more human way.
And just one example of their perfect communication: the flight should have left at 17:05, and at 16:57 it was still written as on time and no information about gate 😂. Like, really? Do I need to use FlightRadar and do their job? Is it so hard to write the word DELAYED on the departure board and send an email?
Worst Air Company You Can Take
Literally, the worst flight you can take and I write this as a Serb. Pick any other company for your destination. ANY. OTHER. ONE. They price gouge. The service is subpar. Flight crew are extremely unpleasant and unprofessional.
Air Serbia - apathy or a culture of cruelty? - do not fly
We picked Air Serbia for a flight from Athens to Florence, as part of my daughter's vacation with a friend, in Europe this new year (2026). It was such a poor experience, that I decided to put in the effort to warn others with this raw review.
Overall, the outbound flight Athens to Belgrade was 2 hours and a few minutes late and the flight from Belgrade to Florence was about 2 and a half hours delayed. Not too bad by itself, but what these delays meant, was passengers needed extra help to understand what was going on with their travel plans, and this is where the airline failed it's passengers. In Athens, there were a few employees of Air Serv (a contractor) who essentially told the passengers that Air Serbia had not empowered them to help the passengers and in fact they did not even have access to connection info. Worse - the airlines own website does not provide flight status info and neither can one get real time info from standard sites like flight aware etc.
After we boarded, we met the first real airline employees and their standard response to everyone was - we have no information - wait till you land. The lack of pride in their job was evident, and perhaps can be lived with, as they operate as a low cost airline, and one can imagine their employees have no incentive to go above the absolute minimum effort. However, how does one reconcile with the lack of humanity, in their attitude to the very people paying them. The flight crew's standard response was - check the Belgrade airport screens or website - Air Serbia does not provide flight status for any flight.
The final cruelty was after we landed. The agents at the gate kept repeating - go to the transfer desk - to any connecting passenger question. We landed at their gate C10 and the transfer desk was after C3 and a good walk away. Not a single employee had a list of connections and gates identified? Why not?
The transfer desk was operated by the airport and again they could not provide any real assistance. They would tell everyone who was not satisfied by the same information as on the board - to go past passport control and security and speak with Air Serbia. Recall it was Air Serbia employees that had sent the passengers to the transfer desk! They told us to go to gate C10 A right below where we had landed for our connection to Florence. The others, whose flights had been cancelled or had already departed were dismissed outside security - to the counter. The ultimate injury added to insult, was a few minutes later when we got to C10A gate, the boards said 'new gate' - and it was A7A right at the other end of the terminal building. Another unnecessary cruelty by the airline, (or perhaps the airport here) was they loaded buses with passengers and then waited on the tarmac for 30 minutes or so before taking them to the plane. They stuffed the buses beyond capacity and then made it uncomfortably hot while it was cold outside and even snow on the ground at Belgrade. I shoved open the bus window as did some others when it had become unbearable to the claps of relief from the other travelers.
What was a great trip so far was completely ruined for us by such treatment. Do not fly Air Serbia -
1. They do not provide real time flight status and the ability to track their aircraft to estimate ones journey
2. If you are in any need of assistance, they have no one responsible to help
3. The corporate culture promotes cruelty and suddenly apathy became welcome, in comparison to dealing with the airline's employees both on the ground and in the air
4. They do not respect your time
5. If they cancel your flight or you miss your connection, you are not rebooked on the next available airline or any such help. You need to fend for yourself and they give you the run around instead of options
It was heartbreaking to see mothers with kids, and elderly folk, and others struggling to deal with this bunch of sad, uninterested employees. Do not fly Air Serbia is my recommendation after these two flights and 2.5 hours at Belgrade airport
To avoid at all costs!!!
First and last time traveling with this company! I had a flight from Bucharest to Lisbon, which got cancelled after more than 4 hours of delay, they didn't say why, or to what hotel we should go, or how to get there... We had to figure everything out by ourselves. They put us in a flight to Belgrade and said that there we would also need to figure out how to arrive in Lisbon. I'm still in a huge line after more than 2 hours and without knowing if I'm going back to Lisbon today. This company makes Ryanair looks like the best air company ever!
DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE FOR FLIGHTS…
DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE FOR FLIGHTS WITH A TRANSFER.
They are selling tickets with 50-60 min of transfer time in Belgrade. They will absolutely be delayed and you'll never be able to get on you second flight. We had to stay for 13 hours at the airport because of them. It seems they suffer from very poor coordination. Belgrade is also a bad airport for transfers, as following the signs for connecting flights leads you directly to the security check where you need to wait to be checked again!
Today
Today, at Athens Airport, time stopped and Air Serbia simply disappeared.
A severe technical issue affected the airport, and delays were inevitable. No one disputes that. What matters is how an airline treats its passengers when things go wrong. And today, Air Serbia failes completely and inhumanely.
While other airlines acted like guardians of their passengers communicating clearly, providing hotels, food, rest, and dignity.Air Serbia chose silence. Not a single official message. No clarity. No care. Just a growing crowd of exhausted people staring at departure boards that told us nothing.
Among us were elderly passengers, sick people, pregnant women, and individuals who had recently undergone surgery. Human beings who needed rest, certainty, or at the very least, information. Instead, we were forced to remain trapped in the airport for an unknown amount of time, waiting without knowing whether the flight would depart in one hour or ten.
The airline representatives themselves had no answers. Every question was met with a shrug. When I asked if a hotel could be provided so I could rest, the answer was cold and bureaucratic: “We cannot provide anything because the flight is not cancelled.”
So apparently, suffering is acceptable as long as it fits within a technical definition.
This was not just poor service. This was a complete absence of empathy. An inhuman attitude disguised as policy.
Airlines often speak about values, care, and responsibility. Today, Air Serbia demonstrated none of these. What happened in Athens should be known, remembered, and spoken about because passengers are not cargo, and silence in moments of crisis is a choice.
I am disgusted by this experience, and I share it to raise awareness so others know what to expect when they are at their most vulnerable
I would rate minus if it was possible
I would rate minus if it was possible! First, they miss connection flight at Belgrade airport, then asign you to a midnight flight without giving any other option, taking you to hotel after 3 hrs waiting, treat you rude, you’re obliged to eat what the hotel serves you (limited meal with only water as a drink). On top of all the time lost and the stress, you find out your luggage is missing when you finally arrive your destination!! Don’t ever book with that airline!
Avoid AirSerbia
Your airline just sucks. Never on time, Amsterdam-Belgrade is delayed for 2 hours - and they never announced the delay on the screens. When I asked the staff at Schiphol check-in, they said AirSerbia had to update the information - except they never did. So you sit in the airport for 2 more hours and there is literally NO information about it. The only mention of the delay is at check-in and otherwise it looks like the plane leaves as scheduled, except that it does not - because the company prefers to keep people on the edge of their seats. Not a Schiphol problem since other delayed flights were shown as such. Then 2 hours later they send the worst oldest shaky plane with chipped paint on the body and branded Air Bulgaria (??), and of course I miss my connection. I am talked at transfer desk as if it’s my fault and the line takes ages. The ticket is 1k euros - which was initially bought as the quickest possible route hence the price but oh god how I regretted it. It’s the 2nd time AirSerbia is late but the first time the plane waited. This time I arrive to the connecting flight gate and the screen still shows the boarding but the whole gate is completely abandoned - the plane took off. It was like a 10-15 min gap. Guys honestly your service is the worst, the whole airport stinks of urine because of your bathrooms and since obviously the executives don’t care - I hope you’re treated in your life exactly as you treat your clients
Formal Complaint Regarding Inappropriate and Discriminatory Treatment by Airline Supervisor
This is my formal complaint to AirSerbia, please read it!
I am writing to formally complain about an extremely distressing and unacceptable experience I had on the 25-12-2025 around 8am at Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam with AirSerbia female staff member (older female person, brown hair shoulder length, glasses) who identified herself as a supervisor at your airport desk.
During our interaction, she behaved in a highly unprofessional manner, raising her voice and speaking to me in a rude and insulting way. She openly mocked and criticized me because of a language barrier, which in itself was humiliating and inappropriate.
Most concerning, she abused her position of authority by making a personal and discriminatory remark questioning how I obtained a Dutch passport. This comment was entirely irrelevant to the situation, deeply offensive, and far beyond the scope of her role. She is not an immigration officer, nor does she have any authority to question a passenger’s citizenship or legal status.
Her behavior was so aggressive and inappropriate that passengers from a neighboring desk felt compelled to intervene, telling her that she was not the immigration office (IND) and that she could not treat me in such a manner. This alone should indicate the severity of her conduct.
I felt humiliated, intimidated, and disrespected. No passenger should ever be subjected to verbal abuse, discrimination on any part or power misuse—especially in a public setting and by someone representing your company!
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously. I request:
- A formal investigation into this incident
- Written confirmation that appropriate action has been taken
- Assurance that staff are properly trained in respectful communication, cultural sensitivity and professional boundaries
I trust that AirSerbia company does not condone such behavior and that you will act to ensure no other passenger experiences similar treatment!
Enjoy your flight,
Every thing was great. The problems with dalay ware at Barcelona airport.
They destroyed my luggage!
They destroyed my luggage about thousand dollars worth and offered to pay 50$ for it, can you believe it?!
If you have ANY luggage, just don't fly them!
And if they treat your luggage like so, how do they maintain their planes you think?
