Worst flying company in Europe

Air Serbia is the worst company i have ever fly. It's always delayed in every trip, if you have any connection flight you probably going to lose it. Is the only company in Europe that doesn't allow you to check in online from all Airports. In my recent trip from oslo I couldn't check myself in not even from the counters. I had a connection flight from Belgrade to Athens which I need it to run to catch it. If someone wants to risk his trip and his money can easily book with Air Serbia. You don't get any refund

HORRIBLE Service!! They Broke my suitcase!!

My family and I, two adults, a toddler and a baby traveled back to Oslo from Athens on September 25th. We got to the airport in Oslo in the evening, and just grabbed our luggage in a hurry with two young children and went home. When we arrived home and I was going to open the suitcases I found that one of the suitcases was broken, in the sense that it’s no longer possible to use (don’t know the name of those things that hold the suitcase together on the back, but one of them was broken so the suitcase is not possible to close) I went on Air Serbia’s website to submit a damage claim, but since I did not have a damage report from the airport it was not possible as that was a mandatory step. I called air Serbia, and they told me to send an email to them. I did. It took several days before they replied, completely ignoring what I had written and told me to use the form on their website to file a claim. I explained again that I cannot do that without a damage report. I didn’t hear from them for a long time, and I decided to call again, they told me to resend the email. I did. Then a day later they repaint again that I must use the form on their website. I explain again that I cannot and I ask them kindly to read my email. Then several days later, today,November 15th, they email back telling me they cannot find a damage report so therefor they have closed the case…!!! They couldn’t find the damage report I do not have😂 Should I cry or laugh I don’t know. My suitcase cost me 5000 NOK. Air Serbia are responsible for breaking it, and they are completely fine with doing so. Outrages and disrespectful. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

never again airline

osl-beg: 2 hour delay without information. beg-ath: on time. 2 check-in bags delayed by 7 days, 1 totaled (hardcase cracked near wheel). claim filed with air serbia without response, subsequent claim filed via ritardo aereo (lawyer) unsuccessful, whereby the lawyer already informed upon filing that air serbia generally wouldn't accept any claims.

Flight Review of flight JU426 BEG-IST

**Flight Review: Belgrade to Istanbul on October 11, 2024**

I recently had the pleasure of flying from Belgrade (BEG) to Istanbul (IST) on a 17-year-old Airbus A319-132 (YU-APE). The journey was a delightful experience from start to finish.

**Boarding Experience:**
Boarding was smooth and punctual, with the process starting right on time. The pleasant boarding music set a relaxing tone for the trip, and the efficiency of the staff ensured that everything went off without a hitch.

**In-Flight Service:**
Once on board, we were treated to a plazma snack and water, a simple yet thoughtful gesture that added to the overall comfort of the flight. The flight attendants, dressed in their beautiful uniforms, were courteous and attentive, enhancing the pleasant atmosphere.

**Flight Details:**
The flight itself was remarkably smooth, with a scheduled departure at 00:55 and an actual departure at 00:58. We landed ahead of schedule at 03:05, instead of the planned 03:35, making the flight time a swift 1 hour and 7 minutes.

**Overall Impression:**
The combination of efficient boarding, attentive service, and a smooth flight made this trip a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The airline's attention to detail and commitment to passenger comfort were evident throughout the journey. I would highly recommend this route and look forward to flying with them again in the future.

Being delayed is the norm

Being delayed is the norm. They behave as if loading and unloading a passengers was their first time every time. Passengers with excessive luggage are allowed into the flight causing congestion, people without Room To put their luggage delays loading and delays unloading.

Ticket not issued, money not refunded

I was charged money, but no ticket was issued. It's been 19 days now that support claims the money has been refunded and I just don't see it. It was a $350 ticket, otherwise I would have just balked. But we'll have to go to court. I won't say anything about flight postponements. I managed to fly out on time once, but that was it.

Worst airline

It's the worst airline ever. They lie to their customers and let them believe there will be one price and then they end up charging you the other price. They are charging hidden fees and claiming you got a promotional ticket, when I told them I was not aware it was "a promotional ticket as I regularly purchased the ticket and asked them how to know if the ticket was promotional because it didn't say anything on the website they didn't have the answer. So I guess you need a magic wand to know what are you purchasing from their website. I just called the ruddiest customer service ever. I called the support, and lady Jovana (she didn't wanna tell me her last name) was very unhelpful, very rude and she barely could speak Serbian not to mention the English language. She used phrases that made no sense in any language. Customer service should be at least fluent, their base job is to communicate with customers. When I asked why it didn't say anything on the website she told me I should've called them to buy a ticket. When I asked why there is an option to use the website if they are hiding the information, they didn't have the answer. Anyway at the end I had to pay a huge penalty with really no explanation from their side. I'm calling my lawyer to see if there is something I can do against misleading the customers.

Terrible marketing

They promote cheap flights, with advertisements, then when you visit the website there are no such prices for ANY date. After contacting them on social media, they told me to write in Inbox, when I wrote them via inbox, they tell me to contact the Contact center. LOL!!! Sevice 0

NEVER EVER

NEVER EVER
I had a connecting flight in Belgrade. But I couldn’t get a boarding pass for the flight from Belgrade to Prague. It is impossible to do this on the airline’s website, and at the airport there is a very large queue of people who also have short transfers in Belgrade and are served only by 2 women. The service at the airport is terrible and they specifically built the system so that you can’t get a boarding pass at the airport and you can’t do it on the website.
As a result, I missed boarding the flight from Belgrade to Prague and was forced to buy another ticket. The worst scammers I've ever seen.

AirSerbia: overbooked flight, re-routing to a night-flight, no taxi reimbursement, 20 h delay

I had a connection flight from Moscow via Belgrad to Frankfurt (JU131, 14.08.24).
I bought expensive ticket specifically to have a daytime flight.

At the gate I was denied to board due to overbooking.
As re-routing I got a cheap night-flight with different departure airport.

After submitting a complaint, AirSerbia compensated 400 €.

However, there are multiple violations Law on obligations and the basics of the property relations in air transport of Republic of Serbia:

• No reimbursement of taxi costs (20 Euros) – violation of Articles 9 and 14.
• Re-routing was done not under comparable transport condition (daytime connection changed to night-time connection) – violation of Article 13.
• Denied boarding on connecting flight caused denied boarding on the first flight with no compensation – violation of Articles 8, 9 and 12.
• The call of volunteers was not visibly conducted – violation of Article 9.
• A request of immediate compensation was declined – violation of Article 9.

My lawyer prepares a lawsuit regarding this misconduct.

No EU-airline treats passengers this way because they comply to EU261/2004 regulation.

Keep it in mind while selecting an airline.

AirSerbia is not to recommend.

I was not boarded and never got compensation

I was not boarded on 17 July, I was assigned the compensation and never got it. I made repeated complaints and tried to reach out in multiple ways but got no response. It is impossible to reach the support team.

I insist on the compensation even if it's necessary to get cash. I intend to write reviews and comments until the case is settled.

Please reach out via DM or consider the claim 16557/2024

Worst airline

If you have to travel somewhere you don't want to be, just choose AirSerbia, and you flight will be cancelled or delayed most probably.
If they don't fill the plane, which happens often, they will rather make hundreds of people suffer instead of taking responsibility and fly.

Definitely worst Airline..

Definitely worst Airline... Both my flights were rescheduled. My outbound flight was overnight and is now the next day during daytime, costing me almost a full day of my vacation. My return flight transfer time increased from 1,5 to 12h, also costing me a full vacation day.
I chose the specific flight times for a reason and rescheduling options were therefore not possible and refund is also no option, since prices from other airlines have increased in the meantime drastically.
I called the hotline and asked for free luggage as compensation (I had booked hand-luggage only), which would have been a simple solution for them and I would at least get a little compensation for the inconvinience. Answer was NO thought.

Air Serbia : the most incompetent airline ever in my life

Air Serbia : the most incompetent airline ever in my life, I’ve been flying last 20 years and this airline is the worst ever in terms of delaying without any reasons
I highly recommend to avoid Air Serbia in every possible way.
1. Flighty from Rome to Stockholm via Belgrade : first flight was delayed for 2 hours and the reason was they were waiting for passengers - which this rule does not go to ALL passengers. Don’t understand why. Of course missed the connecting flight to Stockholm which they never waited for passengers on this flight for some reason?! How they handled the situation at the airport was very poor, lack of communication, far from smooth and customer friendly at all
2. A week later I unfortunately flew with Air Serbia, flight from Amsterdam to Podgorica via Serbia, again first flight from Amsterdam to Belgrade was delayed for 2 hours. Never explained the reason - they hurried to onboard all passengers in 10 minutes however I’ve witnessed that loading luggages with the most inefficient way for an hour which was quite painful. During the flight, when there is a delay, other airlines are trying to share as much as information for those connecting flight passengers however two of cabin crew were just most useless / clueless/ unprofessional / helpless cabin crew ever I’ve experienced. I was devastated in order to make it to friends wedding, what I asked them is to inform your colleagues that we are on the way and if possible to wait, they immediately responded with ‘sorry I don’t have any information. Sorry we don’t have internet to talk to them’. This is what you hear from cabin crew in case any emergency situation ever happens.
3. Of course, another flight missed due to flight from Belgrade to Paris CDG flight was delayed and late - missed connecting flight from Paris to Incheon. In summary, I would never expect this airline for any connecting situation, I will avoid to fly with the most disfunctioning airline in my life.
In summary, please if you ever want to experience what the most unfriendly/ unprofessional / useless airline service is, please book ahead with air Serbia

NEVER NEVER NEVER FLY AIR SERBIA !!!

NEVER NEVER NEVER FLY AIR SERBIA !!! I was forced to fly on Air Serbia Flight No JU603 on 8 August 2024. (My KLM flight KL652 landed late in Amsterdam. And I missed my connection to Belgrade). I protested when KLM airlines FORCED me to connect : Zagreb to Belgrade on AIR SERBIA. My ETKT 0742114420777-1. That flight was not even 20% full, yet still AIR SERBIA deliberately left all my luggage in Zagreb !!! For 4 days I could not speak to anyone. Eventually I had to BRIBE an official at AIR SERBIA - to arrange my luggage for me !!! The Air Serbia man told me to give him USD $100 and he would get my luggage for me !!! So, it cost me USD $100 bribe money, just to get my luggage !!! If I did not bribe him, then I had to stay 3 more days in Belgrade in a hotel, before flying overseas. This is Air Serbia corruption - to extort money from passengers !!!

Never again AirSerbia

I am a Gold member of Etihad Airways.

Due to the flight delay (postponed multiple times), I decided to wait for boarding in the AirSerbia Lounge. While waiting, I repeatedly checked the flight status with the lounge staff, who confirmed that the plane was not yet ready for boarding.

When it was announced on the screen that the flight was ready for boarding (around 20:27), I immediately headed to the gate. Just before I arrived, I was called over the loudspeaker to urgently come to the gate (around 20:36). I arrived 15-20 seconds after the call.

However, the staff at the gate told me that I was late and that I had been removed from the flight. The doors of the bus with passengers were still open long after I arrived. I have the following questions for AirSerbia:

Why are your most loyal passengers treated in this manner, where your duty manager expresses dissatisfaction toward passengers?

What is the purpose of urgently calling a passenger to the gate if just 15-20 seconds later the passenger is removed from the flight?

How is it possible that boarding was completed in 6-7 minutes, the time it was active?

I assume I will never fly AirSerbia again. In my life, I’ve had over 500 flights and never missed a single one. What an absurd situation to wait over 2 hours at the airport, only to be denied boarding in the end!

Zero stars

Zero stars. I purchased front row seats for me and my son so we can have some extra space during our long 10 hour fligjt. Piad $300 extra for those seats. When we board they gave me regular seats. I asked them but those are not my seats, they said oh well we changed our plane so you have to sit here. No refund or anything. Pure trash

Air Serbia- the worst airline!!

This is my first review of the airline company ever. However, it was the worst experience in my life. Long story short: my flight from Kraków to Belgrad (1h 40 mins) was delayed over 7 hours!! We were deboarded in Kraków and left at the airport. Once in Belgrad had to stay overnight and the next morning had to pay for my luggage again to Madrid (65 euros, the luggage was paid in Kraków day before!!). Wait for it: I also had my business class from Belgrad to Madrid which I never used due to their delay. They put me on economy to Rome and finally to Madrid the next day! Never again, Air Serbia is the worst airline and the only company on my black list…
