IT was my worst experience ever. Please never go through them it will be Better to go direct to Airlines. Because of family emergency i had to book ticket with them. First i booked my wife and son one way ticket which was around $1600 i was never told that i was refundable even when i asked after two days i have to change itenary to return and booked for six people for round trip. i was tired of taking to them and 4 hours in conversation and over price they told me my card was declined, i told them i will call them back in in couple of hours. when i checked my account they already withdrew $2800 for my wife and son.For same flight and same seat they chager me $2800 after couple of hours of argument they told me they would return my money but will take 5 days and
my wife had to leave in 2 days. long story short at the end i end up paying 4400 for one adult and infant. They are RIP OFF NEVER GO TO THEM. Very horrible and fustrated. I Might feel it was my mistake but that close dates i didnt have enough options.

I had a really bad experience with Alanita travels and I wouldn't recommend them to my friends and family. They are not reliable & transparent at all. They are cheaters.

Until you make the reservation through them, they are all very friendly and try to be very helpful. After that they try their best to scam you and take additional money from you.
They hide many things from you during the booking. They won't tell you the ticket they are booking whether it's refundable or nonrefundable.

For instance, I had to reschedule my ticket that they booked through UA. When I reached out to UA they said it's through some agent and they won't be able to provide any information.
So when I reached out to the Alanita representative, the person was very rude and not helpful. On top of that they mentioned tickets are nonrefundable ,
but they said they will help with rescheduling and I have to pay the fare differences. When I compare the ticket price on the UA website , it's comparatively low what the agency is asking to pay.
When I tried to further explain my case, the representative was rude and hung up.

I generally don't write the reviews in google, but the experience was so bad as well as reading other reviews in google confirms the same. I want to make sure others don't have an impact like me and hence I wanted to drop this note.

Please suggest if there is any way I can file a fraud case against them.

I bought air tickets (emirates airline) through an agent from alanita travels, due to personal emergency I had to cancel the tickets, I called them and enquired the process, they asked to me pay penalty of $750 for cancellation through zelle transfer which I have sent them by Zelle, then agent mentioned that you will get entire refund from airlne of $2727.04 in two weeks of timeframe, in 2 weeks airline refunded partial amount and deducted another $600 from $2727.04,
have been trying to reach out to Alanita travel through email and phone, they don't respond to any email I have sent them multiple times to get my refund, over the phone they just take my phone number and say an agent will call you back but nobody calls me back.
they are so customer unfriendly that after selling tickets don't bother to listen customer, no response in email or taking over the phone, for selling tickets, getting money they will follow up multiple times in a daybut later they don't even talk to customer.
they have charged the cancellation penalty to me but nothing paid to airline so airline charged me again, since these tickets are booked from Alanita travel , airline doesn't want to entertain me directly. now for two tickets,
they have charged me $750 (Alanita travel) $600 (Emirates airline) which is almost 50% 0f my ticket expense. when I was checking on emirates site , in no situation they charge 50% of cancellation, also to add that tickets were cancelled on 23rd Nov. 2022 in afternoon, well in advance of travel plan ( 29th Nov. 2022 at 10:30 PM EST).
I need my refund of $750 as ticket cancellation charges $600 already deducted by airline, I also believe Alanita travel is asking customers to pay through zelle so somewhere they are manipulating of taxes as well. it's kind of scam of charging double for ticket cancellation and not paying proper taxes to IRS.

It is worthless service. Agents are like dropped out from 10th standard. The agent are zero knweldge and even not dare to talk with Airlines whne there are changes happened to my intermarry when I contacted the airlines regarding the cahnges , they told it has to be done through the travel agency. In bad situation. When I called the agency again they behave like they don't know and not even taking care of customer. Don't go with tme

Great customer service. The best I have seen in this industry. Aakash was very helpful, patient and diligent in offering the best option. Would strongly recommend for bookings.

Can’t get worse than this . Bunch of liars who will give you wrong information just to sell you tickets and then vanish away !!!!!

very bad and terrible experience with Alanita.Will never Recemmend them to any one. Office in Frisco (by Eldorado and Independence Pkwy) has limited ability and relies completely on remote office staff for all and any action. Remote staff is irresponsive and do not take responsibiliy or stick to what they promise to the customer.

Frauds.

I booked a ticket for an international trip. When I rescheduled, they told me to pay the fare difference in Zelle. I paid.

After few days, the airlines cancelled the flight. Alanita agents sent an email that the money would be refunded in full. However, they refunded partial amount. The money paid through Zelle has not been refunded yet.

Every day, an agent is giving a different story. Run by Indians. Still, they haven't refunded the money paid through Zelle.

Beware of these day robbers.

Last year's summer visit to Bengaluru resulted in cancelation of return flight (August) and AlAnita did not inform us about flight cancelation. We found out 24 before flight while trying online check-in. Calling AlAnita was futile, useless and waste of time.for 2 days. Had to make my own arrangements to return back to US. Horrible customer services from AlAnita.

Guys, please careful with this travel agency, we think that they are giving good fare but once the reservation is completed successfully, make sure you have charged for correct dollar amount in your account. In my case, they charged more than what it shows itinerary, and when I contacted them it was said it the difference amount charged by airline which is absolutely ridiculous SO PLEASE CAREFUL while making reservation with these guys.

I've referred to a friend and she booked the flights thru this travel agency, and it's not been even 8 hours she has to change the reservation for that they charged her $350 as cancellation fee as far the stand rule we all know is within 24 hours a passenger has ability to reschedule the itinerary but these guys has changed the rule.

One of the worst travel agency I have ever worked with and completely disappointed and raising awareness for users of Alanita Travel and never go again with these guys.

This is the worst travel agency and I would say it’s fraud. They took my $793 dollars for no reason. I booked my ticket and then there was a travel ban on international student and wasn’t not able to make this trip. So they convinced me to keep this ticket open as there was penalty for no show. I do not get this if there is a ban on travel then how can I travel and how can this penalty applies to me. Anyway I kept this ticket open and it is been a year and the ticket is about to expire. So now I wanted to cancel this ticket and I am requesting for my refund. But they are asking for another $550 for cancellation and no show penalties. Can anyone please advise me on this ?

RUNNING A SCAM!!!
We have been booking with them for many years, primarily because initially we were getting it somewhat cheaper compared to online....things were fine until COVID arrived when you really needed customer service and people needed rescheduling/refunds....
We booked a Delta flight and were told if your journey is impacted by covid, we will get you refund..if you reschedule, you can pay the fare difference and fly......our child came down with covid and we couldnt fly...then started the nightmare of dealing with poor customer service...no refunds, nothing.....ticket got converted to an open ticket because Delta allowed it.......then, when it came to rescheduling, Anita and her gang started the game of making further money by asking $300/ticket on top of what we had already paid (a 570 ticket), stating its airline policy and they cant do much (while online fares on those dates were lower than what we had paid).....so pay up, or loose the ticket already holding....finally we were able to get hold of delta customer care, who told us these agents are lying and Delta never asked for such a money...Delta only requires fare difference, which was only $4.50 for our preferred dates.....finally the delta customer care was able to redeem the e-credits and issue the ticket, but not before this Alanita gang made us pay $50/ticket as the service charge on top to release the tickets...

Lesson learned, dont go with them, book directly on the airline website, mostly they are comparable fares and you have a smooth process of rescheduling/refund without paying these middlemen additional hundreds of $ in "airline policy" fees that never exist in first place....

Worst travel agency. Took my money upfront through zelle and then increased my fare by $200 and still couldn't issue me a ticket. Also its been a month and still didn't get my refund back. Also the travel agents are very rude. Lost my time and money too through this agency.

Disappointed and raising awareness for users of Alanita Travel. While I went back to them a second time to buy tickets after getting one couple of years back, the experience has been very bad. Their agents don't call back or say lies and nobody returns the call back. Finally after buying tickets a cancellation due to covid reasons was a nightmare. Nobody calls back and then after some rapping with noise, they say new procedures of sending cancellation money via Zelle instead of credit card. There is no mention of Zelle when you buy the tickets that they will be needed while cancelling. I have canceled and paid the amount via Zelle and waiting for the refund. They say 10 weeks for refund. I have documented the entire process via email so that I can pursue other avenues if they don't refund. Totally disappointed and not sure I would recommend them.

One of the worst travel agents I have ever worked with. I booked my tickets on October 8th from Detroit to Bangalore ( 4 of them) and they collected the money within 2 days. After 6 weeks, they started calling me and making changes to my flight schedule as domestic flights are canceled. They did not fix the issue with airlines and eventually made me cancel my booking. Now we have to pay twice the amount.
Please let everyone know not to go with this travel agent

ADIL was the representative who called me when i reach out to alanita. He was so helpful for booking the tickets. He was so patience and of course there will be a delay in call back due to high income calls but he reach out to me on time and he is very helpful. Because of him i am giving full stars.

I Booked my upcoming travel tickets with Alanita Travels. I worked with Gayathri mainly and couple of other agents. They are so responsive and Patient. Available 27/7 and always try to find better prices and comfortable options and choices. Even after the booking they are still working on helping us on adjusting the issues with the Booking.
I will definitely recommend them to others.

I'm currently trying to book a simple round trip flight for myself and my spouse. In last 48 hours, I have taken 20+ calls averaging 10+ a day for one reason or another. This company possibly could be a scam - I have provided them with my ID that matches CC used for payment on their website at time of booking since my spouse's name isn't on my card. Additionally, I have filled out payment authorization form and shared same information via email and on call multiple times. In my opinion, It's. not worth the hassle even if this company isn't a scam. "I don't have my tickets yet even after all that".

I really liked SOFIA’s and KEITH’s customer service. They were so patient and helpful, made things easier for me. I would always approach Alanita for my travel booking needs.
