I really liked the fact that we were travelling with like- minded Aussies and Kiwis and that we spent a few nights in the same hotels ( all of which were great). Tom was our guide for the Best of Ireland tour and his depth of knowledge of the local areas and of the history of Ireland was fantastic!

Karen was knowledgeable, engaging, and courteous. A real gem 💎. Neil was obliging, also engaging, and an amazing coach driver. A true gentleman. Together as a team, they created a wonderful experience with lots of memories.

Absolutely fabulous trip > Amazing and dedicated Guide Guido who made ups all feel important and heard. Would do another one with Albatross at any time . Great people on our group and hotels were comfortable and at great locations. Loved the longer stays in each place .

We were well looked after throughout the tour under the expert forethought and planning of our very experienced and informative guide. Food and accommodation were of a consistently high standard. Attractions were well-organised and varied.

The excellent tour managers & highlight hotels

I love the longer hotel stays and I enjoyed the tour content. The guide was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional.

Visited a lot of interesting sites with the Best of British tour. The tour operator "Karen" was very knowlegeble and presented it very well. Food etc was good value all the way.

just a great formula for travel. Gilberto was great and the trips activities were excellent. Food however was generally poor - would rather have paid more and had better food for group meals.

The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable, pleasant and Very helpful to all Travelers whenever required. He always went above and beyond to assist the travelers. Our Bus was new and comfortable together with the Drivers we had they were both exceptional and safe drivers. The Accommodation chosen was quality and comfortable.

Darren was a fantastic tour guide, full of so much information.

Magnifico Spain and Portugal Yet another amazing trip with Albatross. We love the fact that the Tour Managers are so professional and perceptive. Darren Wheatley was outstanding! Fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and extremely knowledgeable about all facets of history and culture. We love the 2 or 3 night stays in each place which means you can immerse yourself in the life of the place and soak up the atmosphere. Small numbers, big coach with drivers who must be the best in the world. Each tour we have been on has been extremely convivial and inclusive. Now to sit and relive all those amazing experiences. I had the best time. Darren was the best Tour Manager. He is very informative and extremely helpful when I needed it. Lots of information that comes from someone who really loves his history and job. Yassin is a great driver very competent. The way he moved the bus was so very professional.
Im so grateful I took this tour. Can’t complain about anything. And the people who were with us were great.

Well organised “Magnifico Spain & Portugal” with many inclusions. Wonderful guide Darren and excellent coach driver made the experience pleasurable. Excellent accommodations and meals. Visited all the wonderful sites the towns had to offer.

This was my fourth tour with Albatross and didn’t disappoint.
Excellent tour guide

Our Albatross tour of Sicily & Malta was the first larger tour we’ve ever done. Previous tours were only 10 -12 people & we were surprised when this “small group” was 27 people. We feel it would be a much better experience with a smaller maximum number.
All our travel was well organised & we were very well informed about the regions we travelled.
The meals were good to excellent except for a few where there was just “too much” food for us.
The longer stays in each location were excellent for a getting a better feel for a place & exploring. We really appreciated those stays.
Special thanks to our tour guide & our bus driver in Sicily - both did excellent jobs.

Our tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, Darren, was absolutely fantastic. He genuinely cared for each group member & made every effort to optimise our experience. He was informative, shared sightseeing photos to add to our memories & during “my time” ensured each member was well informed, safe & making the most of their experiences. Having multi night stays at each venue minimised the unpacking repacking hassle.
We highly recommend Albatross tours.

Excellent tour - Andrea Rieu, the Rhine & Moselle valleys. Firstly, we want to commend our tour guide / manager; Darren; who was outstanding & our driver; Marcus. Darren generously shared his expert knowledge of the region & brought our experience to life. This is our second Albatross tour together (my partner’s fourth) & our repeat custom shows just how happy we are with the Albatross experience. We got so much out of our tour with the expert guide who showed us things we would never have thought to see ourselves. The whole experience from booking, organisation, the coach, the hotels, dinners, tours & tour experiences was outstanding. We will be back for more. Thank you Darren, Marcus & the Albatross team.

Our guide was a little difficult at times, after a question he would often say
“ I told you that yesterday “ the thing is we couldn’t always under stand the French way of saying the names of places
Living in Australia we are so far removed from other languages it takes a lot of hard listening to get your head around the dialect. I also think the amount of walking should be brought to attention.

The tour guide, Rosaria for the Deep South, Sicily tour was fantastic and wonderful.

She was very knowledgeable and funny, as she came from Sicily so my brother and I could relate to her well given our heritage is from Sicily.

She was very professional, diligent and intermingled and related well with all the tour participants and others she met.

Both my brother and I really enjoyed her company and the tour.
