I order two pair of Aldo heels one in pink and one in black. The shoes arrived yesterday, upon opening the package I noticed the boxes looked damaged they had tears and everything. I still think maybe it’s just the boxes but to my surprise the bottom of the shoes were black. USED SHOES. Why would I buy used shoes from a store like ALDO. This was the worst experience ever. I can’t return the shoes because they were On sale but for $75 I sure would not have ordered used shoes. There is no one to talk to in customer service or on chat. I could have went thrifting or bought theses shoes off Poshmark. I always buy from Aldo for all my special occasions and could not wait for these shoes. I opened the package on the porch I was so excited this is very disappointing. I really want the shoes but I would prefer new shoes or a refund. Please rectify this issue Aldo. I have pictures as well. I just want my shoes or at least a credit to buy something else if no refund is available.
Stinks outside of the shoe
After a few months shoes started smelling terrible, the outside, not inside of the shoe, tried washing, but nothing helps. The quality is so poor, that I believe the protective layer, that stopped chemical odours, came off and the white paint is coming off almost everywhere, not just off the sole.

Aldo used to be good but ordered shoes recently and shocked at how badly it has gone down hill. They charge you £4 to return shoes now, even if they are faulty. They have no customer service - no phone number or instant chat. Their shoes are poor quality and don't fit properly.

Just one star for just one question. Unfortunately I notice that 2 sandals I bought for £19.00 pounds each came to a total price of £ 49.90 pounds. I just notice when I arrived home I was treated as a stupid woman by the young woman there. Thank you so much karma will be with you soon. Be prepared.
If you can shop in store if possible!
This is the second time I ordered something online and order being cancelled because of it being out of stock. The first time I ordered a pair of boots as they told me a couple days later that the order was cancelled due to it being out of stock when it should’ve been updated on their site way beforehand! Second time I ordered something off their site. I ordered the limited edition, Aldo Barbie cross bag on the Saturday. Assuming the item was still in stock, they didn’t say low stock or anything, and today my order gets cancelled because obviously they don’t have anything against people who buy 10 items only to sell it over on eBay for double or triple the amount of the item! If you’re going to have any limited edition, launches, add a limit of how many items people could buy at a time to prevent scalping! This is the last time I’m gonna order anything off the site. I much rather shop in person and if there’s any future of Limited addition launches, I would rather check in store if the items available in store.

The online customer service team is surely run by robots? I really don’t want to believe the replies I’ve had actually came from real people.
Ultimately the issue was my fault for ordering online and assuming Edinburgh would have a store I could return to if need be.

Low quality
We bought shoes in an original Aldo store in Mexico City. After only one day, the sole came off because the glue is extremely poor quality. From the outside the shoes look high quality because there is a fake seam on the sole that serves no purpose. We wanted to return the shoes. Unfortunately we lost the paper invoice. But we had the product number on the box and a digital credit card invoice as proof. We were treated extremely rudely and told without a paper invoice Aldo could not take the product back. Now we are left with a very expensive pair of shoes that are unusable after one day. Do not buy shoes from this company!
I bought pair of shoes at the weekend
I bought pair of shoes at the weekend. They were patent leather. I tried them on whilst in the store and asked the assistant who was wear the same shoes if they stretch, she said no.
I have worn them for the first time today and guess what they have stretched and now loose. waste of £90, which I can't afford .

Visited Uxbridge branch. As soon as I enter I was overwhelmed by staff asking me if I needed their help. Following me the whole shop as if I'm a thief. Looked around for one second and I walked out. Not everyone welcomes your bother. Because of them, I will not return.I liked the shoe I saw. Even though expensive, I could afford it. Went to The Office next few shops down, and bought an alternative. The staff didn't bother me there until I needed their help. With all due respect I can see you IF I need your help. You treat people like they are intruding your land by asking that question. "Can I help you? ". It's offensive.
Leave people alone to do shopping. If they need your help they will ask you since you need their help to keep your business going. Why do you act desperate? Learn from big shops, they don't bother people. It's being kind. Mind you. By the way we are in London. Your business is visited by all races. Show you appreciation of multiculture by employing other races too.

I returned a pair of shoes that were to big. It was a loan to finally get the return information. Now I have been emailing, calling and chatting with Aldo reps and I think they are just taking the shoes back and keeping my money. It has been 3 weeks

I made a return and never got the refund in my credit card so I went to the store and the woman gave me a phone number to call, I never got to speak to a person (just the machine and didn't resolve the problem) I tried the chat ( also machine ) finally I got to chat with a person that didn't resolve the problem either and I sent her proof of the return but is been almost a month and haven't heard anything, I feel like I've been robed because they took the shoes back and never got my money. The store is located at Northridge mall in San Fernando Valley CA. I have the receipts of the purchase and the return and sent them to the woman on the chat (Angie) she said that she was gonna follow up but never heard from anybody.

Avoid. Returned shoes that were very narrow. Chased for 3 weeks with no response to emails. Eventually got confirmation and then had to wait further 10 days for money to be received.
