Always very friendly and professional gas engineer. Very Knowledgeable always do a very good job. They also fitted our boiler originally would recommend.

Alford are always very helpful and promo via the office staff and engineers.

Guy emailed before he came, came when he said he would, did the job and a bit extra ,and charged a reasonable amount for these days. Also office backup VERY quickly updated our phone numbers so we could be contacted, we have recently changed both.

I have used Alfords for the last ten years,they are reliable and efficient and reasonably priced.

Overall good service, easy booking and responsive, and the plumbers were excellent. Let down by a double cancellation due to other jobs overunning which was extremely frustrating. However will use again.

On arrival Tyler and Ashton discussed the work they were going to do, answered questions and then proceeded to do an excellent job. Once completed they cleaned up and checked we were happy with their work. There was also good communication from initial contact with Alford through to job completion, including updates as to arrival times - all very professional and I would not hestiate to recommend them.

Very helpful when I phoned. Appointment was earlier than first expected. Kept updated all the way through, with time etc.
The problem was fixed and I wasn't ripped off,as I have in the past from others. Very happy and will definitely use again.

Alford contacted me well ahead of the time that my service was due and kept to the day arranged. The engineer was polite and friendly and completed his task with no fuss. The only small issue was that he was supposed to call or text me when he was on his way to me but I failed to get a message. All in all a job well done.

The Team at Alford plumbing and heating have been great. They installed a new electric boiler and hot water tank, refitted a bathroom, completed an electrical safety check and sorted the remedial work so a certificate could be issued. From the back office team to the team who completed the jobs, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Will use for future work and recommend highly!

The person that gave the quote was punctual, knowledgeable and explained the total procedure to replace the two wash hand basins. I was impressed with the engineer that did the actual work. He has done a great job and was very tidy. The whole area was cleaned once he had finished. Would highly recommend.

5 Star Service from Phil and Alford Plumbing & Heating.

I had previously been quoted thousands of pounds, by 2 seperate companies, that were not Alford, whose agents spent 10 minutes looking at my boiler before giving me their 2K to 4K estimates to fix my boiler.

I knew I had some work done recently to my boiler, so I was sceptical.

I called Alford Plumbing & Heating.

So very glad I did.

They booked me in.

Communication throughout was 5 star.
Text the day before and on the day, to let me know when I can expect their engineer to be at my house.

Phil arrived promptly, spent 45 minutes with my boiler. Informed me it just needed draining, which he did, no parts needed and only charged me the cost of the call out charge.

Phil popped round, part in hand, and after 2 minutes informed me, no parts needed, just trapped air.

Honesty, integrity, and professionalism is absolutely 5 star.

Phil explained to me the reasons for the fault, what is likely to happen in the future and more importantly, fixed my boiler, for what actually needed doing, instead of trying to make us much cash off me as possible, like some other engineers (not Alfords).

Phil is an asset to this company.
As a consumer, I want to be able to trust the company that visit my home. I want to be able to trust the people that represent that company to fix what is actually needed, at a reasonable price.

It's good business sense, as I will always come back to this company for all my heating problems.

I will also recommend them to anyone else who needs work done on their boiler.

It is also why I am purposely going to leave this review on the platforms they prefer.

They deserve their flowers for 1st class service, 5 star Communication and treating their customers fairly at a reasonable price.
