The engineer (Phil) turned up on time, did the service in just over an hour or so and was pleasant and helpful throughout, really nice lad.
Would recommend to friends and family alike for anything plumbing or heated related.

Responded to my request quickly and kept me informed throughout. Polite and curtious. Would use again without hesitation. Not big jobs but still needed doing and reasonable cost.

First time I used this company for a boiler service, the engineer was very good and thorough throughout the service and gave me some good future tips and advice on maintaining my boiler moving forward, very happy with the service and will be using again.

Very proficient and friendly service. The original plumbing in kitchen needed a lot of adjustment which the engineer carried out. One small problem with waste from condensing boiler due to a faulty part which was swiftly dealt with into main waste water hose.

Reliable and efficient as usual.

So why the missing star?
In the job description it said 'our qualified engineers will carry out the installation ...' In the event one young man did the job (well) and he seemed to be from a sub contractor. He was surprised that the unit was on site. He collected it , then I described the agreed layout to him, he showed me that it would be difficult to do a neat job as there were pipes in the way. he suggested putting the outside unit around the corner, but that would have obstructed a narrow sideway, so we settled on him putting it on the wall of the house. In all the job took seven hours, he did not take a break. When I thought about it afterwards I realised that we had paid upwards of £150 an hour.

We have used Alford Plumbing and Heating a couple of times and they have been very professional. They are very good what they do and provide excellent customer service.

Alford came to solve a difficult heating issue in our public building, they were super professional, approachable and explained what they were doing in great layman's terms, they quickly bought in specialists for the difficult parts of the job who were equally as brilliant and the job was resolved quickly. We will never use any of their services again.
Upon we requested non emergency repair, engineering visit was scheduled few days after. The visit took only 10minutes as the issue with out toilet stopped the night before so repair wasn’t really needed, but we were still charged for half an hour service at call out rate.

My partner's mother had a boiler fitted by Alford plumbing and heating recently. She was impressed by the punctual, polite and efficient service she received and is very happy with her new boiler.
