Have a claim for injury going through them since 2021 and have had zero updates from the handler - i have been constantly trying to get in touch and leaving messages for call backs but feel like I'm being ignored and the claim doesn't seem to be progressing! so frustrating

Awesome team with excellent client experience. I got the reference from my friend but from Day 1 to the day i received my spouse visa brp it was a pleasant experience working with this law firm. Mohamed and he’s lawyers are outstanding and are always very generous to address the client needs either providing the right suggestions or providing the solutions for any document problems during the process. I wish the Law firm a very good success and definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a hassle free and smooth process around the immigration and other needs.

Great service , Experienced and Knowledgeable team . Mr Nadeem is very intellectual in field of immigration. price is a bit expensive than market but You don’t wanna make a few hundred pounds an issue on Immigration cases.

Please beware. Very disappointed with the service and lack of communication. Dealt with Mohamed Mohamed and Nadeem Akhtar. Information was not consistent. Quick to ensure full payment upfront and promised the world but once the transaction is made I was left out to dry. Called several times, sent multiple emails and no response. Feel like I was taken advantage of and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

The staff has been very helpful because they have answered my questions honestly. They also informed me about the period of application to be successful or end. They clearly explained to me about the process.

Adviser mo did a great job in directing me in the right direction

To start with they were OK sorting a 5 year visa, but after making an honest mistake it was down to us to get approx £700 back from home office which we did via MP. We paid Alison Law about £900 up front to administer the application but after much effort Farhana Akhlaq has not respond to our calls or emails, (we were happy for her to pick this up again and complete). To sum up, we have paid about £900 for totally nothing other than a lot of pain, time and money.

We decided to use a law firm to extend the spouse visa in hopes of taking the stress out of the situation and making the application smoother. Ultimately our application was successful, however, we were disappointed with the service in some ways. There were times where our emails were either missed or unanswered for weeks which was quite frustrating. The communication between different departments seemed quite bad and we felt like we were repeating the same information multiple times to different people. The service also lacked a personal touch at some points, including one instance where it seemed like the case worker answered our questions without realising it was the FLR(M) application and not the initial spouse visa application. I was also surprised that some initial mistakes on the application form were not spotted by the applications team and only caught by us after a third check. While we realise that their job is to input the data we had provided, we assumed there would be a basic degree of cross referencing everything with our documents (the month/day for the DOB were switched). These moments overall led to us feeling a lack of confidence in the whole process and ended up adding to the stress we were initially seeking to avoid. For the price we paid, we felt a little disappointed by the service.

I would suggest that any potential customers of this firm look elsewhere. The experience my family has had with them has been astoundingly bad. We used them to help with a visa application. They were quick and responsive to sign us up and take our money. After that, quick and responsive stopped abruptly. They are impossible to phone. No one picks up. Any email is met with an automated reply stating that they hope to respond in 48 hours, but at busy times it may take longer. It certainly does. The lawyer Nadeem Akhtar, who was handling our visa application, went on holiday during the application process, and left no one with any competence in charge of progressing the matter. To date, since his return, he has failed to reply to three of my emails. Our visa application is extremely time sensitive and relates to complications of pregnancy that we wish managed in the UK if possible. Alison Law knew this but did not handle the application in a timely way. The application has been submitted but we do not know if it went forward with a request for priority consideration because nobody feeds back to you. Our experience with this firm has been truly awful. How a firm of solicitors can behave like this is beyond me. Please do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.
PS - the disingenuous and typographically error strewn response below is the quickest anyone from that firm has ever replied to me!

We submitted all information on the portal and heard nothing. We called (after trying two numbers as the Manchester number wouldn't answer) only to be told that the file was classed as "non-responsive" despite the fact that we had submitted al required information.

Requests to speak to staff to get advice (such as getting our local MP involved) were not responded to and the final insult was to be shouted at by a member of staff and accused of being a bully !!!

Shocking service

All in all, we got a successful outcome on the fiance and spousal visas...however 4 stars only because riz was amazing and deserves the 5 star review. The overall experience was frustrating and if it wasnt for riz i would be giving them a 2 star review due to the lack of consistency and lack of help from those we needed most.

When I first called Alison law to see if the company was a company I wanted to go with to process my husband's spouse visa the guy I spoke to Ansar Hussain was very persuasive, and he put my mind at ease despite there being quite a few complaints and one star reviews. He assured me that this was due to people not being able to get in contact with the lawyer because they are not on our demand. I understood this and proceeded with Alison law anyway.
When I first signed up I was assured that I would get priority status due to my application being a definite it would go through as I met all the requirements and so did my husband. Once I was processing all the documents, after having paid for he lawyer fee and the initial visa cost,I was then told that actually I was not getting the priority service that I had been promised and if I wanted it I had to pay an extra amount of money I think £500 for this despite already paying Alison law their fee and being told from the first consultation that this would be included.
I had never spoken to Raisah our lawyer whenever I've emailed her she's just seems to be out of office or has never replied, whenever I call I get told the lawyer will call me back however, this has never happened.
Once my application got sent off I never heard from the lawyers again - I called because I needed the tracking number in order to expedite the process myself so that my husband would be in the UK for our baby's birth.
I emailed and called the lawyer and had absolutely no reply or was told they call me later. The lawyer then turned around and said I wasn't eligible to have the tracking information as that's not something they give out, I explained myself and was told that I'd be sent it later however this still has not been sent. I ended up calling the UKVI for an extra cost to get the tracking number as the lawyers were unresponsive. I then also called UKVI for an update on the visa and was told my husband would receive a decision the next day, when I called Alison Law for an update they just mentioned there was a backlog.
The service I have received from Alison Law has been pathetic and I've been frankly so disappointed that I decided to go with this company instead of a more reputable company that was actually at a lower cost than the money that I paid for... I'm not sure where the money went.
Farhana even emailed the wrong biometric appointment date and admitted that it was an error when I queried it.
Avoid this company at all costs. Once they have your money they do not care about you. Luckily my husband's visa has been approved within the 12 week timeframe however it caused so much unnecessary stress and time wasting when we update the visa for an extension I will look for a different company.

I thank Alison Law Solicitors for welcoming me, supporting me and giving me the best service that is beyond my expectations. I have not experience this elsewhere. I am glad I joined you. Thanks Shelly for being professional. Keep up good work.

I was struggling for months to find a reliable and affordable solicitor to deal with my spouse visa dependent case, i was going back and forth between high street firms who were quoting ridiculous prices and some of them were very rude,
I luckily came across alison law solicitors online and spoke to a lovely gentleman whose name is riz ahmed, riz was always patient and made check up calls to see if and when i was ready and how comfortable i am with the whole process, alison law always put their clients requirements first which is a touch.
