The location was ideal.....close to subway stations, grocery store, and reasonable restaurants. In a nice part of town.
Sofa couch a little uncomfortable / used. As well, a bunch of silverfish in the bathroom..may need fumigation...
Otherwise a pleasant place to stay.
security deposit
The 400 euros concerning the security deposit was not back to our account after 44!! days.
A lot of emails asking for an explanation and.......nothing of the money.
Convenient location to Metro and central Paris, quiet friendly neighborhood
Our family of four stayed four nights the apartment upon arrival was clean and comfortable! beds good, spacious and beautiful view out the window a very nice kitchen and bathroom.however, make sure to bring your own soap, wash cloth and toilet paper!!!
I would rent this again
Great apartment, great position.
We were found and met by our host, who could not do too much for us. We were very pleased with the condition and the layout of the apartment. It was comfortable and the inclusions were of a high standard. It os conveniently located near la Halle station amount the restaurants and shopping. Recommended
Everything as described, very responsive, could not be happier
The oh team was great. Property management went out of their way to allow us early drop of bags. Jeff met us right on time after our long journey. Aline responded to my questions throughout the trip prep period.
Cosy apartment. Good location for Paris sightseeing. Great Parisian experience.
The host, who was waiting at the apartment for us, was very gracious and polite and very concerned for our comfort. The flat itself was clean, cozy and comfortable - a great location for sightseeing being just outside the main tourist zone, but within just a few minutes walk from the Duroc metro station. For the more energetic, the main sights are still within comfortable walking distance, and Montparnasse rail station is also close. There were a couple of supermarkets very close - good for self catering, as well as and the more traditional boulangeries and cafes etc - great for the breakfast croissant - not sure about the local restaurants because we were self catering. I personally wouldn't risk driving and would not know what to do for parking, but with the tube station so close there seems no need. We flew in to CDG, got a pre-booked shuttle to the flat, and when we left (for Alsace then the Alps) we picked up a rental car from Montparnasse station on a relatively quiet Sunday morning.
Good choice!
Everything was very good.
Perfect, cosy apartment ideal for a trip to Paris.
The apartment was very clean and cosy. It was perfectly located next to the Eiffel Tower with great transport links around. There was a bakery below as well as several places for which you could pick up some groceries. Perfect location.
The owners were extremely kind and welcoming. And accommodated the fact that we had an early flight.
Overall, the perfect apartment if visiting Paris. Would definitely recommend.
Lousy apartment.
Total misrepresentation in the way the apartment is sold on the internet.
Dirty towels, old worn out bed sheets, microwave not working,OTG not working, chipped plates and assortment of glassware as if collected from different places,no toilet appear, old wooden stairs to the apartment in urgent need of repair and many other issues.
My suggestion to you all is never book a stand alone apartment.Instead book service apartments which are run but established companies like Marriott etc.
Pretty flat - Very friendly landlord - good local environment (markets, bakery etc.)
We had a very nice stay with 4 nights in Paris. We were welcome very warm (including a free bottle of champaign in the fridge) and got a good introduction into important issues for that flat. If there are question or info we needed he offered his help during our stay. On day of departure we could leave our luggage there until we had to take the Metro to the railway station. The flat itself is not very large, but even for us 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) sufficient. It is clean, has got atmosphere and is inside a regular, typical Paris-like building with normal families living in. The distance e.g. to the Seine can be made by feet. There are 2 Metro Stations nearby. The buidling is located in a sector where you can find little shops, markets, restaurants, bakeries, i.e. not that much touristic like many other places in Paris. As s summary we appreciated it very much and would come again.
location, location, location
This apartment is conveniently located and within 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro, 10 minutes walk to the Louvre and 15 minutes to Notre Dame. It is located right in the heart of many small private art galleries, cafes and restaurants. The street is bustling in the evening with many diners in the cafes and restaurants. It is safe walking this street till the late hours in the night.
The apartment is acceptably decorated. However, the wooden flooring is really old and uneven throughout the living room and bedroom. Each footstep you take creates a very loud squeaky noise and can be quite annoying.. The furniture and bed sit on a gradient because of the uneven wooden floor. Unfortunately, the bed in the bedroom sits on a gradient with the headboard lower than the feet-end. This makes sleeping so uneasy, especially when staying in for several days.
The pillows are few and flat and uncomfortable. They really ought to be replaced with new ones. The state of the kitchen kettle and utensils are unsafe for cooking and also need to be replaced. We did not dare to use them for fear of getting an upset stomach after dining.
Finally, the flooring was dusty and dirty and the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned up before the apartment was handed over to us.
This apartment will rank favourably if state of flooring, pillows, kitchen utensils are made good or replaced, and the cleanliness of the apartment is properly upkeep.
Last but not least, I must commend the management team for giving us very timely and clear instructions for our check-in and for being there promptly to hand us the keys to the apartment when we arrived.
Close to centre of Paris, comfy, in busy and noisy street.
The apartment itself is very nice and close to central Paris. the street is full of shops and cafés and is nosiy day and night. The person who showed us the apartment was rude and very aggorant on our arrival, even though we arrived with the agreed time frame. I understand that you can give people an overview of an apartment, but they were over the top, with telling us how to use a stove, flush the toilet, move a table,,lock a door etc, it really was treating us like we were stupid.
He even told us to ensure we were quiet and did not disturb the neighbours during our stay, however he failed to let us know about the noise we would have to put up with from the street. Impossible to open the window, unless you can sleep through anything.
They didn't leave us enough toilet paper, and we had to go out and buy our own.
whilst I understand that owners need to be careful, the rudeness we encountered on arrival was totally un called for and certainly put us off side immediately.
We stayed in apartments all over Croatia and Paris and found them to provide toiletries and toilet paper, however this place is not that generous, bare minimum only.
for the price they charge, I would have expected a little more.
Improving their customer service would go a long way
Clean and comfortable
Lovely apartment suitable for two or three people in a busy area, ten minute walk from the seine. Great bed and shower and very accommodating hosts. Would recommend.
Beautiful apartment and convenient location
My friend and I stayed here for one week in June, 2014. Check in was perfect; we were met on time and the person showed us to the apartment. Stairs were a little steep, but the apartment was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, attractive and quiet. There were markets close by, including a natural health food store, so it was convenient to purchase any foods that we needed. Nothing bad to report.
Great location and apartment!
Wonderful apartment in a lovely location. Our family of 5 enjoyed the property, close to metro stop and exciting sites of Paris.
Nice apartment - really good service
The Apartment was excellent and lived up to our expectations. The service from both the owner and from the Agency was really good too.
Nice, quiet & centrally located
Bright & very nice apartment. Great location.
Friendly contact person. My friends and I enjoy this trip very much.
GREAT EXCELLENT
The apartments was the cleanest I have ever stayed in on my world travel. The owner was magnificent, customer oriented. Modern and contemporary more that enough room than what you get from the hotel. Close proximity to the touristy places, transport (train and metro), shops and restaurant. Great stay and would recumbent to anyone who values quality stay while on holiday.
Superb Experiance...
it is really a Worth it trip and Apartments. its Value for money.
Great location but neighbors weren't so great
This apt was great in terms of location, it was enough for my husband and I but it needs some TLC. The bathroom was tiny, barely enough room to sit without hitting your knee on something. The shower head was HUGE, but no barrier to keep the water from sloshing out of the room into the kitchen. Unfortunately, the wooden floor is warped from the dampness so everywhere you walk the floor squeaks. The first two nights were quiet, I guess because the neighbors upstairs and next door were out of town. The following 3 nights you could hear people walking above the ceiling and the young'uns next door had a party until 3 am. The next night they did the same thing. You could hear "EVERYTHING". The windows were great keeping the outside noise out but the walls were thin.
