My wife’s policy was on auto renewal and even…

My wife’s policy was on auto renewal and even though there were 3 pending payments for the renewal on my credit card account awaiting collection my policy was showing as expired .Took a good part of an hour on the online chat to get to an agent Karishma who ended the conversation whilst I was typing a reply to his question (after only 3 mins). I tried 3 other cards all accepted but they couldn’t process the payment. So my wife have been left without any insurance without any notification or explanation. The chat bod just kept asking the same questions.

Do not use Allianz car insurance.

Allianz car insurance sent me an inaccurate NCD document. I raised this with via their chat service (you can’t speak to a human apparently) and was informed it was being ‘looked at.’ That was TEN days ago. I’ve attempted to chase the request via their email service but each time am told the same thing - it is being looked at. Now, when I attempt to log on to their chat function, the system very conveniently logs me out before I have an opportunity to speak to anyone.

I have emailed Allianz to request that somebody from their care team calls me to discuss this issue, to no avail.

As it stands, I’m unable to purchase car insurance with an alternative provider because I have an inaccurate NCD document so will be unable to drive my car in a week’s time.

Do not take out car insurance with Allianz if you want any kind of face to face customer care function. It’s all shrouded in chat rooms and email addresses, put in place so they don’t have to take any accountability.

I urge Allianz to resolve my issue ASAP.

I’ve been with Allianz for three years now, because I’ve always been offered a fair quote that has saved me from the bother of having to seek out another cheaper provider.

It is straight forward to use

It is straight forward to use, but I am having a complicated process of buying a new car, changing the numberplate, renewing the insurance and moving house at the same time! It would be really helpful to be able to talk to someone to make sure that I am doing it all correctly and legally.
