Staff really friendly. Gave me lots of tips and advice. Which were really welcome. Went over and above to make sure our trip runs smoothly. .Lyndsey was brilliant and the other girl too that was working giving me advice didn't get her name . Would highly recommend

I have been using Althams Travel Services, Chorley, for over 20 years for both long and short haul holidays. I have always found the service provided to be efficient, professional and reliable. The staff are unfailing approachable, dedicated and friendly and are always prepared to stick with any issues that may arise until they are fully resolved. I would unhesitatingly recommend them.

We visited the Littleborough branch yesterday and booked a holiday to Greece with Linda.
She was very helpful , super friendly ,knowledgeable and listened carefully to our wish list. She found us a great holiday which met all our requirements .

We have booked several holidays through Althams at Littleborough, notably , two cruises and the service from Charlotte, Abi and Sophie has been exceptional. They have looked at the way to split bookings when we are booking for ourselves and friends so we get discounts per couple instead of per booking. They do all of the checking in for us, print tickets and sort out any visa requirements we might need. They even phoned me to advise on what currencies to take and ordered those for me. Can’t fault them at all.

We always book holidays with Althams. Every member of the team are welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. Yes, I could spend hours struggling to create my own booking via the interweb..... but I encourage everyone to come on down to Althams for a great, stress free, start to their holiday. Office refurb at Rawtenstall looking very crisp.

We booked our first 'big adventure' to China and Hong Kong for September/October 2025 with Kate Orchard at the Althams Ilkley branch and the process from start to finish was seamless – even to the point of her checking us in for our flight from Beijing to Hong Kong and completing our Visa applications (sorry Kate 🫣),
Communication was excellent from all the staff with all questions and queries answered professionally and quickly.
Had such a great time (Wendy Wu tours are fantastic) that we've just booked to go to Vietnam/Mekong River/Cambodia this year.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We’ve had a brilliant experience with the Altham’s Pudsey branch. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. We hadn’t used a travel agent for a long time but will definitely be using Altham’s Pudsey for our future holidays.

Lucy in the morley branch was excellent in finding me and my sister a littke trip to Bucharest, even emailed hotel to see if they could recommend what to see/do whilst we are out there , And sent me detailed information about the hotel and helped me with a app for the boarding passes , thanks lucy , 🤗

Walked into Althams in Chorley and was greeted by Kate. From the onset I was made welcome and listened to. Kate got me my preferred holiday options and printed them off. We had a couple more travel agents in Chorley so off I went for comparisons. Let me tell you it was like night and day, . Not really much engagement and the shops weren’t as welcoming . One couldn’t print off my choice and I as asked for my email. I got the email 3.5 hours after my visit! I went straight back to Althams and booked my holiday with Kate

Althams in Bury is absolutely fantastic. Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I travel abroad about 4 times yearly and for the last 10 years Althams have never failed in finding me fantastic destinations. The staff do not put pressure on me to book the first option they find and are happy to keep browsing until they find me my perfect holiday. This is in comparison to other travel agents who put unecessary pressure which I find very off-putting. I'm so glad I found Althams and would not consider going anywhere else. I can't praise the staff highly enough who always go that extra mile.

Just booked another holiday in the Canaries, via the services of Althams Littleborough, all of whose staff are so helpful. Nothing is too much trouble, and any queries or additional requests are dealt with smoothly, including in our case, a particular room preference, and the very best flight times to suit us. The right balance of a professional, yet such a friendly approach, always gives you confidence to go forward with your booking and the excitement of the holiday experience to come.
