Delays and missing items within box

I ordered a monitor. It arrived 2 weeks after the expected delivery date (suggested by alza themselves) and with missing items inside. In spite of the manufacturer listing all the components within the box, Alza denied items were missing. Avoid at all costs.

Awful

Awful, as a company we are not able to purchase goods without Vat! Every single order we are asked to send a ligle statmnt that proofs that we are registered comapny! You sistem is realy bed!

They didn't return the full amount to me

I wanted a different laptop from another brand and Alzashop penalized me for 1,300 Czech crounds for a gift I didn't even receive, just open an e-mail.

Terrible

Terrible, you pay shipping to buy a faulty item, they ask you to bring it at our cost, they don't refund the original or your shipping, between me going there and shipping i paid is already more than the amount they will MAYBE refund.

One item I bought wont connect to the official app that needs it to work, and claim was rejected, with no explanation. Item is useless. What a scam of a company.

Edit:

To the reply below. This is not the message I received in the direct email from you, I got automated replies that nothing can be done and I have to deliver or send on my own expenses without being refunded the original cost, so again sending or even going downtown or to a different city costs more than the item. This public reply sounds like they're a company that wants to solve, but their automated email replies tell a different story. It makes me even more disguised with this experience.

This company( I used to love) has turned into a fraud…

This company has turned into a fraud machine. I have purchased 10's of thousands of dollars of goods over the years BUT will not spend 1 more cent. Not 1 KC.

I purchased an expensive air cooler that did not work. Also purchased for 1800kc extended return insurance. I returned the product a few days after delivery. it simply did not cool or even move the air. They accepted the product and THEN 14 days later sent an email that the remote was missing. Since the remote is missing they won't refund my money for an 800USD product. I was 100% sure the remote was included in the same exact package as it was sent.
Another 2 hours on the phone where they are telling me what they can[t do. I requested footage showing handover(return). No. I requested to see the product/box... I can't see the box...even though I paid for it and they have not refunded the money. I have
spent hours on the phone with these guys attempting to get a resolution. Nothing. They won't budge.
My partner is a Czech lawyer and I let them know they are violating the law. They were nice enough to send an email with several violations.
NOTHING. I notify VISA and Czech inspection authority.

TODAY they acknowledge the remote was always there and they will now give me my refund.

Shameful behaviour from a company I used to love.

Shameful, deceiptful and refuse to follow the law. They will not see any of my money ever again and I ADVISE all people to stay away from the guys. There are many more options out there that follow the law and appreciate their customers.
I can't imagine if this happened to an older person or someone without the resources I have at hand.

Shame on you ALZA

Bought a Mobile phone

Bought a Mobile phone, and while buying it appeared the option to pay the screen foil and the technicians from the shop would add it.

When i received the phone the foil came damaged and it was the worst quality possible, finger would not even glide through the screen getting stuck.

i've compalined and the employee immediately told the day after is here and we replace it, the day after went there it didn't arrived i should wait for an SMS, the next day the SMS arrived went there waited 30 minutes but no screen i should wait longer, after 4/5 days an email and SMS came again to pass in the store.

In the store plus an half an hour more they took my phone to install my screen (30 minutes), afterwards employee came saying that they had installed the wrong screen on my phone and they would retrieve me the money.

I'm speechless.

Support is terrible

Support is terrible. I have been trying to order a custom PC for months. No reply to simple emails for 1 week+. No way to contact specific reps and if you call the rep is never there. The complaints procedure is just the same. No substantive replies, no contacts, you cannot call anyone other than the generic helpline. Take some good advice, before you order anything from this company, call and ask to speak to a manager. You will not be able to speak to anyone. Now imagine what will happen if your products are faulty. Do not say you were not warned!

Excellent in Czech republic, failing outside

Keeping the long story short I have to say Alza is very good company in Czech republic. Pricing is reflecting excellent services. I never had an issue to return product and get refund, or return product A and get product B. Delivery is very fast. They really do excellent services here.

Customers outside Czech republic should avoid this company, because if you will request for some reason refund (or repair service), it will be long process.

I understand the company wants expand their business, but they should not do it when they are not able manage business directly in the country where customer is living.

Don't even try delivery

Absolutely terrible experience with delivery. When you go to buy at store it is fine. In the past I lived next to store and got used to buy everything on Alza, from dog food to some small things and electronic devices. Now due to pandemic I moved and twice tried their delivery:
both times it was pre-paid orders, first time courier just dropped it near my front door and didn't tell me anything. Second time I'm still waiting for it to happen and it has been postponed every day due to reason that I don't pick up phone, but problem is - NOBODY calls and when I call hotline - they say they can't reach driver due to privacy reasons.
My new neighbor said it is always like this. Probably problem is in courier, but alza is not doing anything about it, so problem is in alza also.

UPDATE: Updated my review from 2 to 3 stars, reaction on consumer reviews works amazing. It was solved quickly after post here. I'll give it a try one more time.

ALZA shopping experience

Greetings,

Simply put, the worst experience ever.

I purchased ASUS laptop with installed Microsoft Office. Among one of the faults, the laptop did not recognise any external device. Obviously, I was unable to save anything. This problem was explained, and an external HD supplied, so the technicians could back up my files when I took the laptop back.

After three and a half week; all my files were deleted, none saved. This included the expensive Microsoft Office suit, some other faults remain unrepaired. For instance, pressing @ produces " as it did before. However, the supplied documents states "zavinac" pracuje". Just one more lie.

As to the Office suit: "Pay someone else to reinstall it".

My advice, purchase from a smaller outlet, where you will deal with a person, not with nameless (dishonest) bureaucracy. Sadly, I received more competent and ethical service in African republic Mali.

Here you have it, never again

Bad experience.
Bad reservation - actually not applicable.
Every time I called I got another different options and information.
Product reserved, confirmed, payed and confirmed - the order was canceled.

I returned an item and was not informed…

I returned an item and was not informed how long an item would take to be returned. I was told this 1month is stated in the T+Cs document. When asking how long customer service didn’t know here and when the product is. I felt the customer service agent had no will to do more then copy paste an official email. “By signing an online payment you agree....” proof that Alza is too big to give a damn after you make a purchase.

This is a process issue. Not an individual customer experience. When a customer surrenders a product to you. There must be clear communication of how long the product will be kept by Alza. Whether this is handed by a person at your store or via the automated desks for returns.

Wrist Rest Cooler Master Large

Hi!

Palm rest is great. Simple and very efficient. I have that annoyingly high gaming keyboard logitech G413 and my palms were killing me. Keyboard is great btw but buttons are so high... ordered on monday evening and delivered with GLS on thurthday to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Great service. Thanx.

It is challenging for me any time that i go to a website to order a product, the product is offered with a promo code for a discount and the company's website where i am ordering from claims that the fault is not theirs but the fault of the manufacture of the product they are selling??? Anyhow, this is poor business and not typical of Alza. I must just accept that person who was dealing with this was lazy. If i wanted this type of service i could have gone to the airport ))) The representative who responded below is miss informed. The promotion WAS LISTED ON ALZA.CZ. it is very disappointing.
