Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Ordered a product for Christmas and after 2 day they disappeared. No one answered my emails or give me some information about my order. 16 days later no response and I had to claim for refund of my money. Really do not recommend buy on Alza, to much stress and fake promises.

Delivery the 29th, although it was stated to be on the 17th on their site’s orders! Best of all: when you try to get someone on the phone there’s no answer it just hang out😤

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. They don't answer emails or phone calls. I ordered an item and paid a premium for delivery, and the item did not turn up. It eventually arrived a week after the promised deliver date, with no warning. I am trying to return the product, but they won't answer emails. AVOID this company, they are not good to deal with.

They had a lot of orders for Christmas…

They had a lot of orders for Christmas so my lego is late... I mean, of course, it is CHRISTMAS !! I ordered a gift, and now it's late, all because they had a big amount of orders... This is so stupid, couldn't they guess that FOR CHRISTMAS, they'll have a lot of orders... Ridiculous

This would be zero stars if that was an option. While the non-delivery problem was caused by the courier ( DPD ) and not Alza - the customer service received from Alza was between non-existent and straight misinformation. Have raised a chargeback with my card company to get my money back.

Nice e-shopping experience

Placing the order was easy, the follow-up information was useful too, but the best part of this ordering experience was the speed of the delivery of the products. I was impressed. Thank you !

Late deliveries on Alza boxes

Alza was supposed to deliver my good on Saturday 24.10 at 21h45.
They sent me an email because delivery was late, and would be delivered on Sunday 25.10 at 16h25.
In the end, the delivery is still late, no email this time from Alza, I had to go on my account and check: they indicate delivery on 25.10 at 21h45.

When calling the customer service, nobody is able to tell you with certainty when your good can be delivered. The excuse found behind is about COVID-19 and the fact that they have too many orders.

No rebate is offered, nor a commercial gesture, which would be the minimum to do when you engage on a delivery that is not happening.

Very disappointing.

Alza is selling masks with wrong number…

Alza is selling masks with wrong number of item in packages (10 masks instead of 25 per box)
and resolution from there end is just to update website with correct numbers
and just ask me if i want to keep my order
not even proposing to to send missing quantity or adjust the price for what i got
really poor service from alza

Excellent customer service all round

Excellent customer service all round.
Unfortunately, I ordered a motherboard that was not compatible with my PC and Alza were brilliant throughout the returns process. They arranged for a courier to collect the package from my door and issued a prompt refund.
I would definitely recommend this company for shoppers in the UK. Super quick delivery time via their courier DPD.
Also excellent customer service over the phone, very short waiting times and helpful and polite staff.

Good shopping website

I ordered some few times with alzashop, especially Lego.
They have great deals, and I never exeperience any difficulties with the ordering process or delivering one.
I recommend this online shop.

Good prices, legit business, crap service

I was struggling to find a specific computer part and Alza stocked it. Despite the high delivery charge of £14.50, I was confident that the courier would be prompt at delivering it. But 24 hours after placing my order, I received an email that said "even though we are doing our best to deliver your order, we experienced slight delay in it's dispatching. We are looking into the situation now. Latest in two hours we will inform you on more. We are truly sorry and we ask you to be patient." There was a link to my order, but it was to a page that did not exist. Exactly two hours later, I received a follow-up email, "We would like to inform you in a current state of your order. We already advised you on the delay below. At this point, we are doing as much as we can to deliver the goods to you as soon as possible. The order will be dispatched soon. We are truly sorry for occurred inconvenience."

There was no hint of how long they were talking about, but I assumed hours, rather than days, given the tone of the emails. Four days passed with no communication and no trace of my order on their website. Eventually, I phoned, and got a tired and irritable man who was really uninterested. He told me that the item was with the courier, but that the courier could not deliver today (Friday) and that it would probable be here Monday. He surmised that DPD did not work weekends (?).

I found this experience unpleasant and disappointing. I would definitely avoid Alza in the future.

Avoid at all costs!!

Avoid at all costs!!! This site advertised an Amazon dot for £33. I went on looked at it the site didn’t advise of the postage/delivery cost however, but I assumed that it would apply at the end before the payment would process. I decided to pay using PayPal as I was wary of the site so at least I would have some kind of comeback. This site showed a cost of £33 i filled in my PayPal details and the next thing advised my payment was complete AGAIN without giving me any postage details. I went back to work and an hour or so later checked my emails . In these was a receipt for this company for £48.40 apparently due to postage costs. I went straight on their site and hit cancel this order and it would not allow me to do so. I mailed the seller via PayPal and via this companies website and requested that they cancel my order immediately and refund the full amount paid!!! I heard nothing back to either mail sent then received an email about two hours after this saying that there was a change to my order and it was being sent out for delivery. I am sooooo angry 😡😡😡😡😡. I will be back to update tomorrow on what action this company took 😡

Bought a laptop computer...very poor service

I bought a laptop computer from Alza in the Czech Republic with the understanding that Alza would help me set up its Windows 10 system in English (I'm a native English speaker). But after I bought the laptop and brought it home, they refused to walk me through the process. And they were rude. When I repeatedly complained, they finally called me... about the wrong order...and then accused me of making a mistake about the order number. Finally, they sent me an email with advice... about the wrong problem! Total confusion. I'm very disappointed in the service at Alza. It's better to shop somewhere where you can get personal professional service.

Instant shipment and delivery within few days although the package had to make its way from Czech republic to France. I don't know what else to comment except that ordering here just works and thats what I expect from an online shop. Will order here again.
