Horrible customer service on the phone line!
I have had issue twice with two orders in last two weeks. The second issue I am still having is not resolved in the right way. Today I called the customer service at 8:00 and I was busy untill 9:24 to get answer.
I called 4 or 5 times to be able to get to customer care in English. The dutch team was not able to help me, they were lying to me, I heard always different stories from all three employees.
One told me that she has to verify me before she can put me through English department (she was not able for 10 minutes to pick up my email address after several times being spelled to her - even in dutch and she told me because she cannot pick up my email, she cannot help me). After she finally got my email sheput me through, the line told me that they are too busy and they have to hang up my phone which they did themselves.
Second employee she did not suddenly need to verify me before she put me through the English department and she transffered me right away without verification. I was waiting 15 minutes on the line to be picked up by the english team - no success.
Thrid call and third employee of the dutch team was telling me that she cannot verify me on the phone and I have to click on link in email to be verified while on the phone - how strange that the first employee could verify me on the phone, the second did not verify me at all and the third needed me to click on link in my email (while calling the data is not working so I had no internet connection to click on the link - I explained her about the process with two other employees but she did not care). She put me through english department again and I had to wait 13 minutes with no success being transffered.
I called for the 4th time and after again waiting around 10 minutes I got connected with en english department - finally!!! I got finally normal employee but the resolution was not satisfying at all. I wanted replacement but they could not do that, only refund. I did not agree with this but I had no choice. Then I wanted to raise a complaint and have compensation for this awful customer experience being busy on the phone one and half hour, having employees coming with always different procedures how to verify me. It is disgusting! Teribble service! Of course they told me there is no compensation possible, unbelievable!
Product sent to wrong address, then they cancelled order
Sold and delivered by Amazon, I've used them for decades in many countries, but NL is not the same. This order was sent to some completely different part of the country, but then rather than receive it back and send it to me they just killed my order. I'm now still awaiting a refund, their tracker gives poor indication of status, and a week lag time between "undeliverable" and "returning to sender". It makes me wonder if they ever even had the product. How odd that I can add seller feedback on every seller...except Amazon NL itself.
What a shock - A linen dress without linen!
What a shock! I ordered a summer casual 'linen' dress via amazon.nl which was completely different from the image displayed on Amazon's website! The garment is poor quality, poorly made and looks more like a hospital garment! The seller's/partner's name is NUANYANGJIUAN - It's a fraud! How can this happen? I trusted amazon.nl.

Its 5 days they haven't refunded yet. They promised I will get the refund in 2 days.
Ordered an Airpods Pro 2 on 3rd July, was supposed to be delivered on 5th July. Planned as a gift to my wife for her birthday on 6th July.
There was an issue with their shipping, so they mentioned they are cancelling the order.
They haven't refunded me as well stating it was already dispatched. But it was dispatched and returned to them. Customer service doesn't have any answers. This is not a cancellation or a return from my end. It was cancelled by Amazon because of their Shipping issue and not refunding immediately to me.

I honestly don't understand the negativity on this company. Over 10 years of customer, and ok, they pack it a bit clumsy (but i think they re-use packaging or use recycled carton a lot - and that is actually a GOOD thing. We tend to forget the planet in our equations) , but it always arrives. And if a problem occurs, customer service is actually talking to you, they are easy to reach, they help you out, they are kind. OMG. What a difference with many other companies. Top.

-customer support simply cannot be rated; it's just outstanding. The support I've received no matter the issue exceeded my expectation every single time.
-always on time
Cons:
-Amazon Prime is simply not worth it.Little to no quality content; seems rather a trick to make you subscribe to other hubs with content they have.
-deliveries can be packed better; perhaps some bubble wrap on PC components, it's really not that expensive.
Overall, satisfied customer because of the outstanding customer support, though such a company could deliver better services rather than fully relaying on support.

After number of attempts to become a seller on amazon.com I gave up because it seems to be too complicated in comparison with another platforms. They ask so many documents you give it, then they say there is somthing wrong and do not say what exactly. Waste of time

Very very bad customer service!! i was a returning customer but not anymore. if a product is broken within two months, they no longer bear responsibility and you are out of luck. via the chat you make an appointment with an employee that is then not fulfilled! simply ridiculous! I will never buy anything here again!
Too often damaged products
More than half the time products arrive damaged. When you contact client services, they do absolutely nothing. You can ask for a refund or a replacement. But even the replacements arrived damaged.
An Insult to the Amazon Brand
Atrocious. I have used Amazon.nl maybe 20 times; 50% of my orders have arrived, 50% of my orders have received the following message usually within two days; "We’re very sorry your delivery is late. If you have not received your package by tomorrow, you can come back here the next day for a refund." How can this be such a virulent problem with them? Back in States I used Amazon at least a thousand times and I recall 2 experiences where there was a problem. Why are disappearing shipments so rampant here? You guys need a serious training session with your American counterparts to see how they do things properly. It is amateur hour here.

Disappointed with amazon.nl. Ordered an item that was not OK. Received it on Dec 21. Send it back immediately. Tracking shows that they received it on Dec 24. Almost two weeks later I have no refund! Asking customer support they tell me to wait another three weeks! This is far below the standard and incomparable to amazon.de. If I order from amazon.de I get an eMail with the refund 2h after I dropped off the return goods at DHL!

They closed my account without warning for no explicit reason, they kept it vague all along. 6K in it, couldn't get it back they are thieves, had to sue them, never buy expensive stuff from them, the customer service is lacking,
One time I purchased from them and never got my package even thought it was declared as received, keep in mind it was an expensive package, they never refunded me, to summarize they think they are above the law.
I recommend you to choose an alternative like Rakuten instead, never got problem with them, it's noticeably cheaper than Amazon from most items and the customer service is good. And for god sake never buy expensive stuff from Amazon

At the same time,a vaping item bought from their platform but delivered by Royal Mail was simply popped through my letterbox. Moral:DO NOT BUY anything from Amazon if Amazon are to deliver. In fact,it's best to avoid buying anything from this behemoth.

Tried to order something recently, my account gets blocked and my order gets cancelled, after ordering for years without any hassle. Get an automated response informing me by email. No clear information about what the real reason is. Responding to the email about my account being blocked only seems to lead to robot responses and no valid answers to my questions and a true reason why my account is blocked or what can/should be done to unblock it. Eventually there is no response at all.
Since you need an account to contact customer support, you can't contact them easily either because I can't log in anymore. Subsequently needed to google to find some phone number that allows you to speak to an Amazon humanoid (the only good thing is that this person speaks local language and was polite). Since the account is blocked the customer support can't do anything either, other than hearing me complain about how appalling their service is when your account is blocked and remaining polite. Apparently when an account is blocked only an incompetent team of shadow wizards that work entirely under the radar and seemingly have no accountability can unblock your account, no on else can see what is going on or do something for you etc. Unfortunately the incompetent team of shadow wizards is only reachable through email, and they blatantly ignore every mail you try to send them (they are in fact the same team that are in charge of responding to the initial email that was auto-sent when the account block was issued so at least they are consistent in not doing anything to solved the issue). Tried to create a new account, but robots chase that down and immediately shut down that as well.
The fact that there is no communication from them at all not even after an x amount of emails only shows how much this company doesn't really care about their customers. It's all just a bunch of tickets in a system that they want to close as fast as possible without even caring about the problem being solved or not.
