Your ordered was placed on the evening of Friday 15th April with a Next Working Day delivery service selected. As per the delivery information on our website, goods ordered after 3pm on a Friday, are not despatched until the following working day. Due to the following Monday 18th April being a bank holiday, your order was despatched the next Working Day on Tuesday 19th April. Your order was delivered on time on Wednesday 20th April.

15 year guaranty is not honoured

after 5 years of perfect working order the heating mat stopped working, I was advised to get a new thermostat (which I did) but the system didn't come back on. I ask for the 15 years guaranty to be honoured and was sent packing with the threat of a £400 bill if the fault was found to be other than from manufacture... I don't trust that their findings will go in my favour ( I'm no electrician) so I'll shop somewhere else in the future.

Good afternoon Rab,
Underfloor heating mats can stop working for numerous reasons such as:
• Damage during the installation or tiling process.
• The join between the supply lead and the heating cable being installed incorrectly i.e. in the wall and not under the floor causing it to overheat.
• The end joint being installed underneath an item that blocks the heat i.e. fixed units or appliances.
• A rug, bean bag or thick door mat being placed on top of the heating mat causing the heating mat to overheat and the insulation to break down, creating a short.
• Or a manufacturing fault or error that may have caused the end joint or cold tail joint to fail.
The installation has to be looked into, to determine the fault as the warranty only covers a manufacturing fault.

I contacted WarmUp when my electrician…

I contacted WarmUp when my electrician identified that the thermostat was not working. The email chat was responded to promptly. However, I was told that my current thermostat was no longer in production, but I had to drag out the details of a replacement. Once ordered it arrived the next day. I was very happy with the order process and delivery, but thought the Ambient chat person could have been more forthcoming about the replacement.
