Our oil fired boiler had broken down over Xmas and was beyond economical repair. Matty provided us with a very reasonable quotation which we accepted and he installed our new boiler in February. His work ethic and attention to detail was excellent. During the installation he kept us up-to-date with the boiler installation. Would certainly recommend.

I used Amble Gas both to change my oil tank and later to fit a new boiler and to replace several radiators.Both jobs were started on the agreed dates and carried out in an efficient professional manner aand completed within the estimated time frame. The house and backyard were left clean and tidy at the end ofthe work.All in all l would recommend this firm.

Very knowledgeable and professional company, the lads were punctual, helpful and finished the job on time as scheduled. Installation was smooth and nothing was a bother if you wanted slight alterations. Kept us informed of progress throughout the job and made sure everything was working and we were completely satisfied before sending invoice. Would not hesitate to refer and recommend.

I was recommended Amble gas services by a friend after getting a price and agreeing to it was then given a date for fitting the boiler. On the date Matty arrived and fitted the boiler cleaned up afterwards and showed how to use the controller. A couple of weeks later came back and took the flushing out of the system and filled it with inhibitor. Very happy with the friendly an professional service. Frank Walker

During the most challenging time we have ever experienced, the team at AGS have been exceptional. The pre-meeting with Matty was hugely helpful - Matty generously shared his expertise and took the time to qualify all his recommendations for the work needed. This was then followed up with great comms from Denise who kept the whole process moving.
This team really showed their customer care when many came down with the dreaded virus - my work that had been scheduled was quickly re-arranged and carried out to an exceptionally high standard. I cannot say enough about their quality of work, great customer care but above all, carrying on regardless of this terrible pandemic - amazing. The best and most talented trades people I have worked with! Thank you. I thoroughly recommend them - if you can get them!

Early days, but I am very pleased with the installation and the workmanship that I witnessed whilst the job was done. I am having problems with theprogramming controls, but I've put that down to old age!. I'll keep trying.

We had a full new central heating system and boiler installed as well as some other work. Amble Gas Services work to the highest standards, fantastic job. They’ve done work for us before in our previous house when we changed our boiler type, great job too. We would most definitely recommend them.

I've used Amble Gas for 2 or 3 jobs so far and have always found them very professional, friendly, honest and fair. You may find someone cheaper, but in this world you get what you pay for. The workmanship is good and the parts used are of a high standard. Would use again.

The guys did a very thorough professional job. Mattie explained at the outset what would be involved with the job and what parts we would need to make the system work correctly and comply with current regulations. He assured us that the price quoted would be the final price and was as good as his word. I never felt the job was rushed and special attention was paid to the quality of the work. Each evening the guys thoroughly cleaned the work area before leaving and also on completion. A big five stars to Amble Gas Services.

Had a new boiler fitted by Matty and Josh and I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. The work they have done is faultless, all pipework neat and tidy, all holes patched up nicely, you honestly wouldn’t know they’d been round. Kitchen left tidy afterwards too. Excellent communication, arrived to start the work exactly when they said they would, unobtrusive while carrying out the work, and everything working perfectly.
Would not hesitate to use again, or to recommend to friends or family.

Mr Rowell explained everything up front regarding the scope of work needed to be carried out and the total breakdown of all the costs. He was unbiased with his advice on the boilers available and made a special effort to fit the work in at short notice because we were without hot water and vulnerable. The work was completed on schedule , extremely tidy workers, polite and explained why and how the work was required throughout the stages. 100% assurance that local after care would be provided and that he was always at the end of the phone should we require any assistance however small.

Matt came to view the work swiftly. Arrived early on the day agreed, workmen were polite friendly and explained everything I asked. Cheerful, clean, cleared away everything after themselves. I would definitely recommend this firm.

I asked Matty to fit our new boiler because I wanted to give the work to a local company and he has an excellent reputation. It was a really tricky job as the boiler and piping had to be installed into a tiny space specified by a kitchen fitting company.
Josh and Rikki did a fantastic job in difficult circumstances but remained positive and cheerful despite that. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. A pleasure to have around.
