Had a new oil tank fitted by Matty and repositioned. Very professional, knew what he was talking about, very clean and tidy worker. Would highly recommend this company, also the groundsman who did the groundwork.

We recently had a new external oil boiler fitted at our property and I have to say that the experience from start to finish was first class. Many thanks to Matty and Stevie for their install and fantastic support and Denise for her help and assistance on the admin side. Matty also went to the trouble of matching up the stonework and re-pointing on our stone cottage wall to fill in the space from the old internal boiler flu. I would highly recommend Amble Gas Services. Thanks guys

Had an old oil tank ready to give up the ghost. Within a week Matty had organised a new replacement tank, drained the old and connected the new up temporarily whilst new groundworks were put in place. Then came back and moved new tank into permanent position.

Matty supplied and fitted a new oil tank for us. We had quite a lot of oil left in the old tank so he provided us with a temporary tank into which the oil was drained, and it was then transferred into the new tank once it was installed, so nothing was wasted. He also disposed of the old tank. Nothing was too much trouble for him, which made the whole process run smoothly. We would recommend Amble Gas Services.

Matty came to the house, did a full review of what was required and carried out full installation of boiler, hot water tank, all the relevant plumbing and replaced the oil tank. He just got on with the job and didn't cause any bother at all! He didn't complain about the fact that he had to pick up someone else's work that hadn't been very well done, and completely reinstall some of the pipework that just wasn't going to work! Matty is a responsible worker who does a good job because it's his reputation that's on the line if he doesn't! I highly recommend Amble Gas Services.

The plumber came to our house mid February to supply a quote. Sent text message to him which went unanswered but on Friday 7th March spoke to him on the phone stated he would do the quote that weekend and forwarded it to me as of Wednesday 19th March 2025 I have not received it.

Matty is a highly competent and professional heating specialist, and we were fortunate to find him after receiving some ‘cowboy’ quotes. He is super responsive and friendly, and extremely thorough with his quoting, installation and follow up. He also did a very clean and tidy job, which we were additionally grateful for. I can heartily recommend Matty and Amble Gas Services.

My Worcester Bosch boiler needed to be replaced.Matty gave me a quote which I accepted and within three days I had a new boiler installed and commissioned.He explained how to use the thermostat in such a way that I have not had a problem operating it.I cannot praise too highly the standard of his work and have no hesitation in recommending Matty.

Our old oil boiler was leaking just before Christmas and Matty came round to have a look and give us a quote. He went through everything and pointed out what was needed and sent us a quote very quickly. We arranged a date and he installed a new boiler and accessories. Everything was carried out to a very high standard. He also changed about 5 radiators. The new Worcester boiler and 5 radiators were installed in 2 days work was exceptional and everything was very clean and tidy.

He also replaced another 12 radiators (some extremely heavy ones) the work was carried out by Matty and his mate Steve (I think). They were both clean and tidy and carried this work out in one day.

Matty and has since been back to commission the boiler and check all was well.
This was also when he installed a Hive controller and he sorted out quite a complex job as there are 2 separate systems in our house. This was all done and the wiring was done to a very high standard.

Matty himself says he is a bit obsessive compulsive about his work and it shows everything was done to perfection. A true professional tradesman.
So a big thank you to Matty and Denise who always kept us informed throughout the work that was carried out.

I have no hesitation in recommending this firm and will certainly use them again.

Our Worcester oil boiler was deemed irreparable just before Christmas and Matty was recommended to us by a friend.He gave us a quote and installed a new boiler and accessories at very short notice in time for Christmas and has since been back to commission the boiler and check all was well.
The work was meticulously carried out by Matty and his mate.They were both friendly and informative and pointed out everything that needed doing as work progressed.
I have no hesitation in recommending this firm and will certainly use them again.

Our oil boiler failed on one of the coldest weekends we have had recently. A call to Matty enabled me to reset, being guided by someone who clearly knew what I was looking at when I took the casing off. This proved temporary. A Sunday morning visit then confirmed the boiler was finished. By Monday I had a quote for a new one and by Tuesday the work was started! Two days of hard work later and we now have a new Hive controlled boiler. The service was faultless, the house was left tidy during the install and the completed job is exceptionally neat. I can't recommend them highly enough!
