I have an alarm for more than 30 years
I have an alarm for more than 30 years. Started with at time Pony Express, which was acquired later by American Alarm. At the beginning had only a landline phone connection, later included radio backup and finally Wi-Fi connection. All these years was extremely happy with the service. After changing windows and patio door, American Alarm technician always re-positioned all sensors. On the personal side, all staff is very friendly and answers all calls and alarms very fast. For me, it is an advantage to have a state based alarm. Continue doing the good job! Thank you American Alarm!

Provided great quality and useful service. Had to remove and reinstall two doors security contacts due to
having new doors installed. After doors was replaced the technician tested the doors to make sure they were functioning and replaced the panel battery. He showed up on time and explained what he was going to do. Been using this company for years.

Failure to send a check out during carbon monoxide alarm - had to call the local fire department instead
We have been loyal paying customers for the past 10 years. Our carbon monoxide alarms started beeping and they would not send a tech out to look at the system so we had to call the Winchester fire department. Do not use this company.

Bad Sensor, still waiting......
Response was great, the tech was nice and seems knowledgeable. 'However, he told me he would have the part in a day or two and it has now been 9 days since his visit. I have a bill from American Alarm but my issue has not been resolved.

The true solution to my house alarm problem
While I was in the middle of remodeling my house, my alarm system had trouble. The workers had left and I could not get my alarm system started. I called American Alarm in the afternoon. They said that they would call Fast Response to see if they could schedule me. I was afraid that they would come either at the end of the day which affected my day or the following day which would have had further conflicts with my scheduling. A half an hour later, Fast Response pulled into my driveway. The technician found the problem. It was not an easy solution as he had to follow multiple wires to the source and weed through a spider web's worth of wires to find the problem. It was an accidentally pulled wire from a socket and not a faulty sensor as what was originally thought. It would have been easy to replace and charge for the sensor but that would have missed the true problem. The response was not so much as a fix to my system as much as it provided me peace of mind that I was supported by American Alarm. Thank you. Frederick

You do NOT answer your phones
You do NOT answer your phones. You leave people on HOLd for almost four (4) minutes. You make calls but if people don;t answer you just note that you made the call! I went to Burlington and waited for service that had been rescheduled to May! Not a good look for American.
