The recent visit to the house
The recent visit to the house was to
(i) Reposition a wire that was left exposed when an outside glass door was removed to be replaced by a regular door. The charge of more than 1,000 dollars to reposition the wire seems truly excessive.
(ii) Repair a fault in the original installation that had made it impossible to turn off a real alarm caused by smoke in the kitchen. As a result of that incident, the fire dept had to come to the house, and even they could not turn off the alarm. This cost us more than half a day of work disruption.
The repaired system has been working properly.

Simple visit with over the top performance
The technician was polite, professional and efficient. We simply needed a new battery for one of the monitored smoke alarms. Since it was not a type with which I was familiar, I asked for a technician to do the job. He went above and beyond and checked and replaced all of the related batteries since none had been changed since the original implementation of our system.

They are the best!
I have been with this company for over 30 yrs. I was on vacation for 10 days and my front door alarm went off twice, which it never did in the 30 yrs that it was installed. I came back home and one Saturday night after I had set the alarm, again the front door went off. The monitoring office called to make sure all was good and of course it was. But I also explained to the gentleman that this had happened, and he said he would put in a message for Service to call me on Monday. Sure enough Monday Cheryl called me to schedule a service call and she said if I wanted the service technician to come that afternoon, I said yes as I was going to be home. Not even about 10 min. later he was at my door. This Technician had been at my house before in 2023 to replace some switches and I was happy to see him, because I recognized him and felt comfortable. Keith was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and got the job done in no time.
I would not change this company for another one, because their professionalism, friendliness and best customer service is irreplaceable.

Alarm not working
Alarm not working. It was due to Verizon disconnecting the system. Alarm company fixed it in under 5 minutes. Best service call I have ever had!!

alarm keeps tripping.
connection was a bit of an issue, the gentleman had to come back twice but he was super friendly and tried his best with the used equipment he was sent to setup.
I can not really use the system that I am paying for because my cat keeps setting the alarm off.
