If I could I would give no star for…

If I could I would give no star for this company.

I bought my eletric cargo bike almost a year ago and It had and it still has a lot of problems. I spent so much money fixing it. The store doesn't take any responsibility.

Awful service, awful quality.

Poor design and quality

Poor design and quality. Having driven cargo bikes from their competitors, you feel the difference in driving. Amlad bikes are extremely shaky in comparison to other brands. Do not hesitate to spend more money at a competitor for better quality!

The bike is rusty and worn down after a…

The bike is rusty and worn down after a few months. when you order service you have to wait a very long time and when you show up there arent there and ask you to book again. I really regret we bought here. get a better quality store.

Not reliable in the delivery and in the committments.

I placed the order the 23rd of March, being assured that the delivery of the bike would have been before Easter. Since then I received many postponements, every time the day before of the supposed delivery. The last time had been today and now the new delivery is in one month from now. This is ridiculous since it is putting me again in the trouble of deciding whether to keep the delivery hoping to have it at last, or give up.
On top of that, I paid almost 17,000 Kr for it the day after of my order!
Stay away from them.

Bad service

Good prices but the service is terrible. We ordered twice from them. The first time they sent the package over a week after the delivery label was printed, after several phone inquiries. And the second time they didn't keep the item that we couldn't pick up at the store on time because of quarantine - without notifying us or without bothering to bring in a replacement. We will try to avoid buying from there as much as possible.

Bad quality and the worst customerservice!

We bought their deluxe model. Bad quality, and the absolut worst customerservice I have ever experienced. The electric motor stopped working after a few days, the brakes are realy bad and it started rusting from the screwes around the box after 14 days. I have been in contact with them several times but they refuse to help us, and they communicate in a very disrespectful way. I see I'm not the only one that is dissapointed here, and I am not surprised.

Poor support

I needed to change one spoke on my electric cargo bike. On the Amaladcykler website the only delivery charge available is £20 for any item. Now, I think, we agree that the amount is excessive for the delivery of one spoke (two days ago I bought three bicycle items from Germany the delivery was via DHL, the charge £6). I asked for the specifications of the spoke so that I could find it elsewhere... Guess what answer I got... Buy many so that you will have for the future... yes, 5 spokes £34, bargain!

Don’t get the pad breaks - you will regret it

We knew from the start we weren’t buying the best quality bike, taking the price into account. The biggest disappointment we had was just the fact we haven’t been told how bad it is to choose the pad-breaks and how often you will have to service them as they deteriorate very fast. We think it was the company’s advantage to sell a more expensive product (the bike including the disc breaks) and we really don’t get why we haven’t been advised in that way. We genuinely didn’t realize at the time we bought it how much that matters.

Also: Tires are pretty weak quality so i recommend you to just change them from the start with better ones so you avoid all the flat tires repair and costs.

We had it for 15 months and we paid about 3500 kr for repairs and service already. It is a decent bike for the price, but it could definitely do a bit better, with small changes.

Conclusion: don’t get the bike with the pad breaks. You will pay in service more than the bike it’s worth.

Excellent service.

Hi Guys,
The service provided before buying the Bike was excellent, I called them in three different times, and in all of them the answered all my question.
After that I bought the bike and everything was perfect.
Five starts definitely.

Buy Something Else: Cheap Quality and Horrible Customer Service.

We bought our E-Cargo bike brand new about 3-4 months ago, and already 3 different things have gone wrong with it.

1) The motor would cut in and out and not work. It would not work even with the power on. After taking it in to be fixed, it was determined that the motor cable was broken, and of course the shop claimed it was our fault (described by them as "an external force"), and took no responsibility for such cheap manufacturing. Keep in mind, we only use the bike Monday to Friday to simply take and pick up our kids from school....that's all.
2) Within a day of fixing the motor cable, one of the "anti-puncture" tires that we paid extra for, went flat. I had to take it to a local bike shop, and was informed that these "anti-puncture tires" were of the thinnest and cheapest quality anti-puncture tires on the market. Again, the manufacturer of the bike took no responsibility.

3) Although a minor issue, it should be noted that the strings which attach the canopy to the bike, simply fell off one day. These strings get loose after about the first couple of weeks of use, and the company recommends that you tie the string around several times to tighten it. And then it simply falls off without even touching it. So cheap.

4) Finally, the canopy leaks in RAIN! As you know, it rains in Denmark very often, and this is simply unacceptable. Every time it rains, there are pools of water inside the cargo bike because of the cheap canopy. Our kids always get wet when it rains. Our kids wish we had our old cargo bike back.

Basically, the bike is made of very cheap materials, and the manufacturer does not take any responsibility for anything. They need a lesson in customer service and how to keep customers happy. Save your money and buy something else.

Tak for din anmeldelse, selvom vi godt kunne havde ønske os lidt flere stjerner. Du er ny som cyklist(din første cykel) og selvom anti-puncture dæk klarer op til 90% af punkteringerne. Vil de altid punktere ved store meget skarpe objekter som på din punktering. Dette kan vi desværre ikke ændre på. Ved indleveringen havde du ødelagt et elkabel. Vi har naturligvis 2 års reklamationsret, men når man selv ødelægger dele, skal man desværre betales selv. Du har ikke oplyst at du have udfordringer med din kaleche. Kalechen bytter vi naturligvis.

This is a dangerous bicycle

This is a dangerous bicycle! Don't buy it! I have bought an electric Ladcykle from this shop in April 2018. I was fooled by some of the comments about it and by the owners directly.
My back wheel started to fall apart already after the first 2 months. The spokes on the back wheel started braking and the rear derailleur was destroyed 2 times. I have taken care of professional maintenance from the first day! The owners of Amladcykler refused to fulfill their warranty and guarantee promises. So I already spent good over 2000 kr. in repairs.
Dangerous!!!! especially is the fact that the electric motor continues to push the bike even when you use the brakes! The technology they are using is old and not up to date. Any modern electric bicycle has an emergency power cut of the moment that you use the brakes. Not his one!!! If you try stopping the bicycle and in the same time need to change gears the motor will push you and your children further, disregarding the fact that you are braking!
Everything on this bicycle is made cheap.
And my biggest complain is that even after I repeatably complained to the company I discovered that there is no intention from the company owners to give me any kind of warranty or guarantee!

So that there is no doubt: I have bought this bicycle from the Amladcyklrer company on 12.04.2018, Faktura 13889. I have already politely complained to the company and they refused any kind of conversation with me!

I like the bicycle but I hated the …

I like the bicycle but I hated the instructions. I bought the elladcykel from Amladcykler a few months back and life is sooo much easier with a battery to help battle the strong winds and transport the kids. I've used it as well to carry some heavy furniture, which was great. I would have given 5 stars but I reserve the last star for one reason. I bought the unassembled bicycle before I read the other reviews on Trustpilot. i had assumed that it would be easier. And it full well should have been. The assembly guide should be burnt and jumped on instead of read. The only thing more frustrating than having to wait a WHOLE YEAR for the new season of Game of Thrones was that guide. The images were so small and the description of what to do was too vague. In the assembly bag, there was a billion screws and bolts all thrown together. Then the instructions were use '12 8mm bolts' to do this, use '10 9mm bolts' to do this. I think I was missing some screws. But then in the end, I had four screws left over. The bottom of the ladcykel box had something like 12 holes in it but no indication of where the four bolts that were suppose to go. Putting that bicycle together should go hand in hand with a discount to a therapist session. God, I hadn't thought about it for so long but now the rage is rising again. Imagine how many 5 stars this place would get if they actually invested in a professional manual.

Not a great experience

We bought the electric "christiania" bike. The quality is passable, but I can't see it lasting 10yrs. We are for the most part satisfied, although the gear system is lousy. I had the bike serviced 2 days ago, & stated that 1st gear wasn't working. Now the gear shift is smoother, but 3rd gear isn't working. The bike "handbrake" doesn't hold unless you hit it with a hammer, or wear it in.
I have visited the shop twice, & on both occasions I have seen chaos/erratic handling of customers. One customer was denied testing the bike out of sight, & I could tell that the customer was irritated. Another customer was telling me he was upset with his general treatment upon a "reklamation". Communication with customers is blunt, speedy, erratic. Sunday is the only day they service cycles, & no appointment can be made. This is a massive irritation, & very time consuming. Only cash payments excepted for service payments, mmm, I wonder why?!!! Customer service requires more patience, & looking the customer in the eyes when talking to them. Both buying a bike & servicing the bike are sour experiences.
