I feel bad for everyone who is posting negative experiences, but I’ve had exactly the opposite. This is my first time purchasing from this site, and I ordered five boxes of .22wmr and five boxes of .17hmr on Wednesday at 7pm. The package was shipped Thursday in the morning, and arrived on Saturday morning. The package was well-packed and all boxes were new and intact. Prices even with shipping were reasonable considering the current state of affairs, and cheaper than a lot of other online vendors, in line with local shop prices (if they even had them in stock).

This was me first order with this company and I was pleasantly surprised with there service. Based on some of the reviews I thought I had made a mistake. I had sent an email to them as to when they thought the order might ship and they didn't respond that day but I received an email the next day saying the order had shipped. The order arrived in a timely manner. Can't ask for anything more.

Wish there was a quarter star for a rating!! I wanted to leave a review on the website. I noticed three 5 star Reviews. Mysteriously, I couldn’t find anywhere to place my review. I’ve ordered thousands and thousands rounds of ammo from multiple venders. I have NEVER, NEVER seen anything like what I’ve received. The ammo boxes were completely beat up with rounds out of the box with 9mm and .40 mixed together. It took almost 2 weeks to arrive which is twice the average from all the other venders. The box was way too big, and very thin with just a couple laughable pieces of packing paper. I’m hoping the rounds aren’t damaged from the amount of beating they took from the horribly poor packing job.

I’ll also say this. The company also baits the customer with a very low advertised price per round. Again, I’ve ordered thousands and thousands of rounds from multiple venders. The bait and jacking shipping costs at the end is shady at best. A $30 box of ammo becomes $50. I would rather see the $50 price with free shipping. People are wise to this tactic.

I will be sure to publicly spread the word about the customer service, deceptive pricing tactics, and unbelievably horrible shipping conditions to thousands of people who will also spread to thousands of people each shedding light on how they run the business. Just so you know, these business techniques will initially bring in $$$ in the beginning, but will quickly destroy the long term sustainability and customer base down the road. What a poor business model.

Excellent first time experience. 1. Inventory instock 2. Prices half of what the price gougers currently getting even with a $5 handling fee and high Fedex shipping 3. Fast delivery - ordered on Sat when they were closed, shipping notice on Mon and delivery on Wed. The key is to set up an account so the computer will track your order and delivery. Small operation swamped with phone calls which has caused poor reviews. Will definitely use them again. Not connected in any way with this company

I ordered 6 boxes of 9mm and 2 boxes of .223 frangible ammo. FedEx tracking says delivered. Tried emailing, submitting website contact form, and calling numerous times with no response.
I’ll be filing a Civil Remedies Notice soon if they don’t respond. It’s not the +$200, it’s the principle. Businesses shouldn’t be allowed to run with such bad ethics and no customer support.

I order ammo from here also. I order 6 boxes of ammo and received 5 of them. Package did not appear to have been retaped. I tried to contact the company and just a answering machine and you never get called back. Box was too small to hold the 6th box of ammo, I tried to fit one in. Now they may Of put the last box of ammo in a Ziploc bag, but I doubt it. So, all I will say is good luck on getting your full order and be patient it will take awhile to be shipped.

I was very concerned after ordering especially after seeing some of these reviews. My card was charged right away but I NEVER received an email from them regarding acknowledgment of my order, receipt, or any kind of information regarding shipment. Despite this I did receive exactly what I ordered within 10 days and that was during the time we(I'm in Dallas, TX) were in extreme weather freeze conditions. I am not sure if I would order again simply due to the absolute lack of communication.

Total scam! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS!!! I ordered 5 boxes of Norma .223 for $.70 a round. Shipping was $115 but still put the total cost a little below what I can get it for locally. Long story short, only received 4 boxes and the shipping label showed they charged me for 60 lbs of freight when it weighed below 15 lbs! There was no in transit theft because the security tape was still in tact. These people need to go to jail, I will be contacting the attorney general to lodge a complaint. Look at all the other reviews and you will see a pattern of bad behavior.

Ordered 4 boxes of ammo, had to pay $18 shipping and handling plus about an extra $9 because at that time they would only ship FedEx signed delivery.
They sent my order off just fine, long story short, on the way from Georgia to Texas someone at FedEx opened package stole 3 of 4 boxes of ammo resealed it with new label.
I have called ammoshop three times, sent two emails with no response. I really only wanted to see if they could help me proceed in filing a claim with FedEx. Have not gotten any response what so ever.
I know the package had all ammo when it left their warehouse, you can tell by the weight, 8.5 lbs, so the delivery and missing items goes to FedEx, only two stars though for Ammoshop due to zero response through customer service and expensive shipping and charging extra now for a signed delivery,
Which obviously does nothing to guarantee your order won't get stolen.

Terrible customer service . I have called all week with no response. I have emailed 3 times with no response . I have left voice messages. I was polite and just asked about status of my sales order. Please do not buy from this company as the owners do not deserve a penny of profit from your business. Very disappointed.

One of the few shops, that has ammo on stock.
Bit pricy, but at the moment I will buy what I can get to stock my depots.
Got some .357 Magnum and 5,56 for a reasonable price.
Goods have been shipped within 48 hours.

I have seen the negative reviews on this site, but they do not reflect the experiences I have had with Ammo Shop Online. Just today I received my second order from them, and this one took a total of 4 business days from the time I placed my order. I ended up paying $0.55 per round for 22 Magnum ammo during their spring training sale. I am amazed that I found the ammo I was looking for twice during the same month from these guys, and I got an even better price the 2nd time. I am very pleased with both of my purchases!

Their customer service is non-existent! I placed my order on a Monday and wanted to modify my order on Tuesday morning. I sent 2 emails and left 2 voicemails and none of them were answered. I woke up on Thursday morning and saw that they shipped my original order, which I did not want. Be wary of your order and make sure it is exactly what you want. If you cancel your order, they charge you a 15% restocking fee.

I didn't want to cancel my entire order, just a portion of it and they obviously ignored my emails and voicemails just to push through the order.

My name is Edward cavanaugh At first I had some trouble with my tracking number and no One would answer My calls or messages, however They did phone me and made it right. I recommend this place to anyone.! Excellent service

The reviews about this retailer are accurate.. I bought last week, got an email with tracking # all good. The package gets to my local FedEx hub, cannot and will not deliver because of damage and returning whatever is left of it back to the shipper. No communication, nothing. I sent email to their "customer service" nothing, and calling them is a waste of time as everyone has already stated. And yes, the shipping price is a joke.. bring you in with cheap prices and then put you over a barrel on shipping. Steer clear.

**3/9/21 Update**
After submitting both a credit card claim and BBB complaint they finally responded and quickly sent me what I ordered without issue.

I ordered for the first time on 2/17 and just received it today on 2/23. I got some 9 and .357 mag, everything arrived OK and correct. I am very pleased with the fast service and to get it because I have specifically been looking for .357 mag for a very long time now with no luck. Thank you, I would order again.

I ordered 500rds of Swiss 168gr .308 hollow points. Price per round was good but shipping was outrageous! Everything was packaged well but the sent me Norma 150gr .308 full metal Jackets. The receipt in the package shows exactly what I ordered and they still got it wrong. I’ve tried calling, leaving messages, and emailing them several times and have yet to be contacted after a month! They have terrible customer service obviously so I DO NOT recommend ordering from them.

total bait and switch with the crazy shipping fee and abusive fictional "handling fee". stay away from these guys

Ammo is fine...shipping is OUTRAGEOUS! For 3 cases of ammo, they charged me $267 for shipping. When I checked retail prices from UPS, it came out to about half that. They are clearly in the business of making money on shipping which is not good business practice.

When confronted via email to their customer support, they quit emailing me back.
