I had great and quick results from my DNA test but now it is going to cost me an arm and a leg to follow up on any links (new information) or to gather any information at all. You would have thought that if you bought the DNA package you would be given several free months to learn how to maneuver around the Ancestry site which I found to be not very user friendly

I was really impressed with the specificity provided, the clear explanations of the DNA extraction and analysis process and keeping in touch as that process took place. The information is invaluable. Thank-you!

My interactions with the chat support left me questioning the validity of the results. I was given conflicting information by a help agent after the bot was not able to help. I was told that the webpage in question could not showing the results I was seeing, because they looked up my account. I have screen shots proving otherwise. The agent appeared more interested in sending the same weblink over and over (Maybe it was an AI). I was not able to find a resolution so I canceled my account and will try my luck with a different company.

Is was great, the updates through email were fast, the results were exactly what I was hoping for, they tell you details and history about the country’s, the percentages and colour coding were very simple, the UI is not hard to navigate. Overall great experience, I’m very happy with my experience and the overall outcome

The results were vague. Parental genealogy is known only on one side. Was hoping for a more clear ancestry for the unknown parent.

Disappointed that you have to pay for every bit of info. Paying over $100 initially should cover most of the info regarding relatives. Not impressed.

I thought I would have found more on my ancestry, the results didn't give me much for the $160 I spent. Now if I need to know more I need to fork out more money. Just a little disappointed 😞

Awesome , it s good experience

Before I did the DNA I started to look at the Family Tree. At first, I thought I would never be able to do this but I was so totally wrong. It just amazes me how much information is available to all of us on Ancestry.ca. I was quite far along with the Family Tree when my results came back from the DNA. Overwhelming to see all the information that I received. I recommend highly that everyone do the DNA. It brings it all together and beyond. I have discovered relatives all over the world. Through Ancestry you can even message people which opens another door in your search. It is very exciting and grateful am I to all who assist the Ancestry organization. Grateful Thanks McMillan Tree

Exploring my DNA results is too dificult.

Very confusing once you get result. Then there the up selling which you have to buy to connect anything ,very disappointed. Feel like I wasted my money.

Because I am trying to find my biological father, having the profiles showing private makes it difficult to link things. I don’t find it friendly in linking the puzzle pieces together.

It’s not at all what I expected. I was disappointed I assumed I would have received a little more info.

Probably the the worst money I have ever spent ,no useful information , very vague and no details..

Easy Process Long Wait Time. I got a discounted 3-month subscription in hopes that my DNA info would prompt some investigating over the summer. After a long wait, I was told they couldn't get results and I'd have to supply a 2nd sample. Did exactly the same thing, waited again, and got results. A month after my subscription expired. No time to investigate now that summer is over.

They were able to go back much further than I was able to do myself.

this is just a way to get me to sign p for more money|!|!

It’s amazing! I wanna explore more.. I have encouraged more family members to do the test.
