Poor service, no accountability – Very disappointing
I booked an early-morning ride with Angels Cars on 30th September for 5:50 am, aiming to get to Heathrow Terminal 2 by 6:15 am. A friend had recommended the service, so I expected a reliable and smooth experience.
Unfortunately, the driver arrived 17 minutes late, leaving me stressed and unsure whether I would even make it to the airport on time. While the driver was polite and the car was clean, there was no assistance with luggage at pick-up or drop-off, and the driving felt rushed, as if he was trying to make up for the delay, which didn’t feel safe or comfortable.
We arrived at the airport later than planned (6:25 am). I managed to catch my flight, but the whole experience was far from the stress-free transfer I was hoping for.
What has disappointed me even more is what happened afterwards. Despite reaching out, I received no proper reply for months, no explanation, no apology, nothing. And now, instead of acknowledging what went wrong or taking responsibility, they’ve simply offered me a voucher to use their service again… as if I’d risk repeating the same experience.
After everything, a generic voucher feels more like an attempt to brush the issue aside rather than address it.
I genuinely hoped for better, especially given the positive experiences others have had, but I can’t recommend Angels Cars based on how this was handled.

Booked a car to Luton airport with pickup at 7am. Called multiple times and they said “driver is on the way”, “driver is stuck in traffic”, “driver will call you”, “driver is arriving”. Driver never called and gave up after 45 mins of this nonsense. Then called to cancel as I had to get an Uber. They were very resistant and kept saying the driver was nearby and about to call. Eventually then agreed to cancel with a reluctant “okay” and then hung up. Useless company, terrible service. Avoid at all costs.
Unsafe drivers and unprofessional customer services
To start, I’ve only really had problems with Angels cars, no other cab company whatsoever. This time was the last straw due to the deeply distressing experience with Angels Cars. The driver could not locate the correct address despite it being easily searchable, was rude and agitated from the start, refused to help with luggage, and at one point shouted at me and tried to force me out of the car in the dark while I was 7 months pregnant. This behaviour was unsafe and unacceptable.
The customer service team has been equally unhelpful—slow to respond, dismissive, and unwilling to acknowledge the seriousness of what happened. They refused a refund, insisting the driver was “on location,” despite the fact I was standing visible in an open space with no car in sight.
No customer should be treated this way, let alone a vulnerable passenger. I will never use this company again.
Totally unreliable
Totally unreliable. Fail to show up or go to the wrong address. Change their quoted price at the last minute. When complain about their failure there is no attempt to explain or investigate. It’s a mess.
Don’t use them.
Avoid at all costs
Delay in pickup: The driver arrived 15 minutes later than scheduled, causing unnecessary stress before an international journey. I used their app which did not give realtime location of the driver. The app itself is useless.
Extended journey time: The route taken by the driver resulted in a 2-hour journey instead of the usual 1 hour. This was highly inconvenient and avoidable.
Inadequate vehicle provided: I booked an estate car and at the time of booking, I clearly stated that I would be travelling with two suitcases and one large box. I also reiterated this when I called two days before the booking to confirm. Despite this, a small vehicle, saloon type rather than estate was sent, which was completely unsuitable for our needs. The vehicle I selected at the time of the booking stated allowing 3x check in suitcases. We managed to put one only in the car trunk.
Have email them my complaint 2 weeks ago and had no reply… surprise, surprise.

cancelled my car as couldn't reach me by phone ( I was working and waiting for my taxi b4 getting a train). If you are going to make it essential to confirm by phone (even after confirming on e mail) then TELL the customer that is the case . The worst possible outcome for the customer is you cancel it and they dont even know ! (got an Uber and JUST made my train)
Avoid Angel cars at all costs
Avoid at all costs. Let me down twice. I nearly missed my hospital surgery operation. Made the surgeon’s day schedule run late too.
They did not turn up. I phoned and it was more or less “ tough luck we haven’t a driver”. No apology.
Never again.

Terrible service. Would give no stars if I could. Booked in advance of tube strike, with a couple of days notice, for an important family event that I’m taking an elderly parent to. It’s into the center of London. Got a voicemail at 7.30am for a 10.30am booking, told me it was cancelled, and quickly hung up. Called back. Receptionist very apologetic (not their fault) and said that it’s because there is no available driver (not a breakdown). Obv very busy on a strike day, but shouldn’t have accepted the booking. Terrible service.

Very disappointed with Angles Car. My booking was confirmed, but they cancelled at the last minute with no alternative offered.This caused a lot of inconvenience. Seeming as they’ve done this to a lot of their customers, I wouldn’t recommend if you need a reliable service.

the car was broken. Second time driver was ill the third time there was major delays on top of a month ago. They cancelled on my daughter to Gatwick for some reason.

Had several occasions where driver shouted and made me feel scared and threatened.
One driver in particular had poor hygiene issues and the smell still lingers in my nostrils, the car was dirty, dusty, musty and crusty and the man was very rude demanding the money upfront.
To be honest I shouldn’t have got in the car but I was in a time crunch. I will be giving a random date and name for safety and security reasons as I do not trust this company or its drivers. They do not check or inspect the drivers!!
Avoid going with this mini cab firm at all cost! We have had nothing but bad and terrible and scared for our lives experience avoid!
Unreliable and rude
After agreed pick up time the driver called to let us know he will be 45 mins late and cancelled the ride. Another driver took over letting us know he will be 60 minutes late. Dispatch tried to blame the lateness on our early arrival despite having an agreed pick up time. Very rude and unprofessional people.

I have used Angel cars once before successfully. This time I sought to book a taxi to pick up my husband and myself from Twickenham Station and take us to Hampton. I was informed that they couldn’t do this because it was a “difficult “ journey and their drivers would probably cancel at the last moment, leaving me stranded. What kind of a taxi firm is this???
Absolutely Terrifying and Dangerous Ride
Our ride with Angels Cars from West London to Stansted Airport: This was by far the most terrifying and irresponsible car ride we have ever experienced. Our driver was clearly exhausted—visibly struggling to keep his eyes open and constantly drifting in and out of lanes on the M11. At one point, we had to shout to wake him up because he was literally dozing off while driving at motorway speeds.
We were travelling with our 2-year-old child in the back seat. Let that sink in. This wasn’t just careless—it was reckless endangerment. My wife and I were absolutely horrified and felt completely unsafe for the entirety of the journey.
We will be reporting this incident to the police immediately, as this was not only unprofessional but criminally dangerous. We will also be contacting Angels Cars to demand an explanation for how they allowed such an obviously tired driver to operate a vehicle and put lives at risk.
There is absolutely no excuse for this. None. Angels Cars—you are accountable for who you put behind the wheel, and today, you failed miserably. This wasn’t just a bad experience. It was a near disaster.
Shame on you!!!!

Absolutely useless firm — AVOID!!
There’s a reason this firm of incompetant charlatans do not have their Trustpilot score displayed on their site. All negative reviews are wholly deserved.
I booked a cab and confirmed the booking the night before. They then call me at 05:40am to tell me my cab is cancelled due to not enough cars. Fat lot of good this does when I have an important Court case later in the day and wanted to get there in good time.
This firm is utterly unreliable. Do NOT use!!!
Never had a driver
I made a confirmed booking 11 hours ahead of time. While waiting at appointed hour they called to say it would be at least an hour to wait. I cancelled. Never used them before and shan’t ever again.
