Recently contacted Michael to value a piece of furniture from my late father's estate. He offered honest valuation and at no time tried to rip us off or pull the will over or eyes. Would recommend to anyone needing his services.

Even though none of the items I asked Michael to look at for me were not valuable, the service I received was professional, helpful and friendly. If I ever need a valuer in the future I would definitely use Antique Vault.

Antique Vault have recently sold a number of paintings for us at auction. Despite the difficulties of the current lockdown we received much more money than we were expecting. This is due, in no small part, to Michael's* expertise and hard work promoting the painting online prior to the auction. As ever, he went above and beyond to provide us with an excellent service! Antique Vault were very helpful and professional in my quest to sell some jewellery.
Having previously been an experienced valuer at one the of the country’s best auction houses, Michael of Antique Vault gave me the assurance that the items were valued and presented for sale accurately.
I was informed how and where the jewellery was to be advertised and how much time the process would take.
The auction went well and I received the payment within the time frame I was promised.
I would certainly use them again for their expertise and trustworthiness.

Initially Michael said that it was going to take 6 days to complete the valuation at our home. This then went down to 2 days and on the day of the valuation he and a valuer from KR auctioneers took less than a day. I provided them with an inventory of all the objects at home both in an xcel and paper copy. Unfortunately against to what we agreed before the day of the valuation instead of charging us for one day that he came to value, he charged us for 6 days as he said that he spent 6 days to check all the items. This is not true at all as if he would have been an expert he would surely not need an extra 5 days of checking things at home at a cost of £2500. Apart from that he made several mistakes in the report that I pointed out to him and refused to rectify them unless I pay him extra. To this point I have no alternative but to take the matter further in court.
