Ordered phone all seemed well then…

Ordered phone all seemed well then was talking to my network providers customer service about something else and they mentioned my new contract through AO was £36 per month which I said was incorrect as it should be £31 per month.
So went back to AO who explained I had to wait until I was billed incorrectly to then send them the bill as proof this was the case.
Then they added on a £5 discount for 24 months which although means I am now paying the £31 per month also means once 24 months is up I will have to start paying the £36 they incorrectly placed me on.
When I went back to them asking them to correct there mistake properly and not just bodge it they explained that was how it was supposed to be.
I then asked for the literature where this was explained to me when I purchased the contract and have now been ignored!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

If i could get away with no star I would.
We what can i say..expected next day delivery . Took my money in a flash. Then the id e mail, i sent it but no response my ticker is still stuck on pending.Did they receive it well I dont know do I?
Tried ringing customer services well thats a joke got fed up of waiting, sent two emails...still no reply.
So AO MOBILE I am in limbo...dont know whats ging on because you do not communicate with your customers.
I WILL UPDATE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS BUT UP TO NOW STUCK IN LIMBO.

Ahh update I see it now..been on to o2 the best they can offer me on the deal is £47 per month as an existing customer but ao reckon they can do it for £33..both with an upfront cost of 29.99 pounds...thats why as a customer we get rejected..its not us as a customer its o2 rejecting a silly price...mmm i see it now...ao mobile a complete joke with unreal prices the provider wont accept...making us look like we are the issue..will update asa i hear from AO MOBILE

Spoken to carphone warehouse reptutable company 125 upfront payment and 34 pm....seem reasonable..nothing
cheaper AO MOBILE quote unresonable prices...lets see whats happens next ???

Well what can i say been inundated with messages today phone is being delivered tomoz but already cancelled ( still nothing from ao customer services after sending numerous e mails and a cancellation) and ordered new phone..rang o2 and they said just reject the delivery as i have already took another phone elsewhere ...use buymobiles.net..excellent company... but shame on ao mobiles for their lack of communication..you did come through but too little too late...not communicating with your customers is the worse sorry ao mobile but no stars from me im afraid..just lost a customer

These are a joke.

These are a joke.
Placed an order, They took £2.50 from my card.. A few hours later my application was 'Rejected', There quick to take money from you, but take an age to put it back into your bank account.

Would not recommend any one to order with these!

Absolute Joke

Absolute Joke , I too have top credit rating and was declined mobile phone contracts .
First they kept on asking for I'd 's then eventually said all was ok ,only minutes after said there was a security problem ?
That the network provider accepted but MPD end couldn't go ahead because of security , no details given .
Tried again next day , phone was sent out on its way ,only I rearranged delivery with DPD for following day , but later had email from AO Mobile saying they have asked DPD to return phone back to them !!!!
No saying network provider won't accept connection . ! Unbelievable , like I said I have top unblemished credit rating ,been previously with Three for many years , now with EE , tried to get phone deal with MPD , refused , Joke !

waste of time don’t use the AO

placed upgrade order never received handset my upgrade was changed to new plan i lost signals they replaced my sim card that i never received get replacement sim card from my network and still no handset and not cancelled my upgrade after 10 days

Pointless - They have no idea whats going on

Placed an order on the 29th Nov, was asked for ID (Sent to ID@ao-mobile) on the 30th Nov, Its been 2 weeks and lots of calls later and still no were closer. Called on the 6th to find out what was going on to be told that they had got my ID but could not access it and the live chat agent asked me to send my ID to a totally different company email. Which I will not do. I was told it would then be looked at on the 9th. Nothing happened, I was cut off once during a live chat and the other live chat agent could not find my order, even though I was giving them my order number, full address and was even logged into my account on their system at the same time. After they could not help I called up and was told that my Id would be looked into the following day. Its now the 12th, nothing has been done. I am currently on hold to their customer service to find out whats going on. More worryingly, I was able to write this entire review whilst on hold waiting to speak to an agent. I am not happy with the overall service and lack of knowledge the team have on orders. It feels like this whole AO section has been smashed together to get sales. Not happy with AO as a whole after this.

Edit - I gave up on my call with them as I was on hold for 30 mins and I only get 30 min lunch break so thanks for wasting more for my time. I will now look at cancelling my order and advice all to stay away from this mobile company until they sort their processes out. Despicable that a company of this size can get away with it.

Rubbish Service

Rubbish Service - next day delivery turns into we had system issues - not when taking the order - but with fulfilling the order - then - we need more info - driving licence over an email - which is a bit dodge anyway, then we need a letter head from 3 months - then its 24 hours to review.. but have already taken the £99 out of the account.

Awful

I have to retract at least part of the below. at it was my bank that stopped the outright payment as they thought it was fraud. Has now gone through. Will wait until I get my phone until I wipe this.

Awful. I’ve tried to order two phones. They cancelled my order twice without good reason. 2nd time they said they may have done a credit check, and I failed. Rubbish! I have an excellent rating. They just can’t fulfil orders obviously. I’ve tried to call but they won’t take calls. I’ve tried to now buy a phone outright and keep as sim free but won’t accept payment. They are better off closing website down as they can’t deal with it. Just like last review said. Now I’ve got 2 declined credit checks against my name due to their fault. Just tried to pay on debit card twice and it won’t accept it. Just give up ao. Useless

Just don’t bother, can’t call their so-called customer service due to the influx of calls no wonder because the service they provide is absolutely useless, just cancelled my order will definitely not go near this company again
