Anna is INCREDIBLE!!!

Anna has been my claims handler throughout this experience. On a call yesterday, Anna explained the process clearly to me and exactly what was required to proceed. Whilst the claim is ongoing - Anna's commitment, knowledge, patience, kindness and understanding of a terrible situation has made the process for me SO less stressful to date.

Claim went smoothly

A-One have been very useful in finding us motor cover for our slightly unusual situation. But the proof of the pudding with insurance is what happens when you need to claim. When we did need to claim after the car had a dispute with a post in the New Forest, A-One dealt with the insurers for us and arranged for us to use our local bodyshop, which meant the car was only out of use for a day, rather than disappearing to the insurer's bodyshop for months whilst awaiting a part. Helpful throughout and resolved without any fuss.

Worst Service, They dispute every detail.

This insurance company is the very worst that I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They treat you not as a customer but as a severe inconvenience and with disrespect. They argued about every mortal damaged item from the outset. I invited them to make their own inspection but they refused, instead arguing and demanding endless photos. The agent was abrupt, awful and a result took five months to resolve a water damage claim that should have been straight forward. As a result my tenant had to live without a serviceable kitchen for nearly 5 months to which they paid around £100 as a 'good will' gesture to him. I would NEVER EVER recommend using this company. As a commercial landlord for over 30 years, and having dealt with a number of escape of water claims, there are very many better companies to deal with than the stress of this one.

We also confirmed that regarding your concerns about level of disturbance allowance and cover, we’ve explained that the level of cover you're seeking falls outside the scope of your policy. As a broker, we always challenge insurers when we believe there is coverage, and our position is based on extensive claims experience. We also investigated the level of service that was being provided, and we were very responsive, typically replying on the same day throughout the claim.

We also highlighted where in your policy documents you would be able to find further information in regards to your level of claim, which was on page 4 of the cover overview. If you require these documents again please let us know.

I've been dealing with Anna at A-One as our claims advisor and she has been nothing short of fantastic. Timely replies to enquiries, knowledgeable and most of all keeps things moving. Anna acts quickly and efficiently and takes out the stress of the claims process.

A Fantastic Experience

A Fantastic Experience from the start. I have a small portfolio of properties and the insurance is due for renewal 5 August 2025. Unfortunately, I have not received a renewal from my current broker or insurer.
I contacted Donna Fletcher at AOIG and she made the whole process so easy, with great advice an honesty. I have decided to place my business with them and would thoroughly recommend Donna from the Dorchester office.

Amazing service from Rob

Dan Glass was fantastic!

I needed some insurance pretty urgently for an event and Dan Glass was brilliant! He talked me through my options and gave me some great advice before sorting it all within about half an hour. Following a review of the case, we can confirm that the policyholder’s claim was settled several weeks ago, in full accordance with the agreed scope of works. The excess was also provided to the policyholder, and the claim has since been closed.

We made several attempts to contact you by phone to better understand your concerns. However, our Claims Manager’s direct dial number was blocked after a couple of tries, which unfortunately limited our ability to reach you. That said, you had our full contact details and could have requested to speak with a member of the team at any point prior to posting your review. Doing so would have allowed us to clarify matters and address your concerns directly.

Additionally, as this review appears to have been submitted by someone other than the named policyholder, we are unable to verify specific details or fully understand the basis of your feedback. We would, however, still welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly if you wish to discuss this further.

In terms of the Trustpilot post, we requested only the removal of your surname in line with data protection requirements. Trustpilot subsequently chose to remove the entire review in accordance with their own terms and policies.

We respect your right to share your opinion, and we view all feedback as a chance to improve. Disgusting service

Disgusting service! I am absolutely shocked and outraged by the way in which I have been treated by this insurer. Rude service blocking any claim. I feel completely taken advantage of - fobbed off doesn’t even cut it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
