I decided to return an article as it was unused
I decided to return an article for holding down a gazebo, as the gazebo had legs that could be screwed to decking.
I obtained eventually from Aosom a returns label, I then sent it in the post via Royal mail. I kept the recorded delivery tracking note. Without this evidence I would’ve not got my refund.
I then had to email Aosom ( Jenny& Faraz) on a further three occasions ( 25/6, 27/6, 30/6) to ask for the refund. On THREE occasions I was requested to provide evidence of a signature that the Parcel had been received (this was from the Royal Mail tracking website) Along with my order number.
All of this information was included in the original Returned Parcel, so did seem to be irrelevant. And only prolonged the whole process of getting my refund I did feel as though I was being ignored. I will be very careful in the future when having to return items by post.

Ordered a patio umbrella base on wheels…
Ordered a patio umbrella base on wheels which arrived without any problems.But when it came to fitting on the wheels none of the screws fit into the holes they were way to small, so had to go out and buy bigger screws which was annoying.

Successful outcome after disappointing item
We ordered an outdoor storage unit which when it was delivered was partially damaged in various places. However we completed the assembly with the help of extra screws placed strategically.
I wrote a review to Aosom highlighting the faults. I received a call from their customer service representative called Jahan. He was very apologetic and asked for photo evidence which I supplied. He then phoned me back and agreed that it had many faults. He then offered me a partial refund of £50 , which I accepted.
I cannot fault the customer service from Jahan.
