Apex Day None.

Surely there is an independent watchdog that deals with these sort of cases that can be contacted?
Apex Day1 shouldn’t be allowed to sell products to the general public when they are clearly just taking people’s money and providing little else bar false promises.

Disgusting the have took my money and not shipped the goods

Ordered a kettlebell in January with the expectation it would arrive in March. Advised it would arrive but there were delays due to Brexit and ship was delayed at the Irish port.
As part of the delays they offered me a suspension trainer as a gesture of goodwill for the extended delays. The provided Tracking numbers for both the Kettlebell and suspension that were given to show proof of shipment don’t exist.
Long story short neither the kettlebell or suspension trainer have arrived and it is now May. Was fed some cock and bull story saying now that their whole 28kg kb shipment never arrived on the ship so was offered an alternative! I emailed to accept a 32kg version as a replacement. Now company not responding to any of my emails! Avoid this company at all costs as they are absolute con artists!!!

Pushed from pillar to post, every reason under the sun why we are still waiting for some of our delivery 5 months after ordering. No discount offered and just overall a bad website to order from

I am still waiting for dumbbells I…

I am still waiting for dumbbells I ordered in January. I have most of the order however one set is still missing. Each time I have emailed it appears to me that this is a prompt for you guys to check. In my book that translates into my order has been forgotten.
I think that having waited FIVE MONTHS for my dumbbells I would be top of the priority list for delivery. Probably after this I will be if response to all my previous emails is anything to go by.
This is poor service and not something I would recommend.

This company is absolute scum

This company is absolute scum. Much like other comments I’ve been fraudulently scammed by these morons. Ordered a bumper plate pack in December which stated on the website feb delivery, 6 months later I’ve asked for a refund after them putting the delivery date back countless times. Always had to be the person to initiate any form contact with poor excuses as to why I haven’t received anything yet. Now being told my refund could take up to 2-6 weeks but they are capable of taking the money within 20 minutes of ordering. Imbeciles who don’t have a clue how to run a business taking money off people during a pandemic where many people have had money issues of their own.

Poor comms.

I ordered a kettle bell and two dumbells on pre order to arrive in March. The kettlebell arrived a month late. This was because of shipping delays. No sign of the dumbells and over a week later I still don’t have them, a refund for the dumbells or a reply to my email.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I had purchased a barbell kit in late November for circa £800 with an estimated delivery of around February time. Received no contact from the company and had to chase to be told there would be a delay in shipment however could get a refund if I wanted. I waited a further 6 weeks as was told delivery would be expected again approximately a couple months later. Still no date could be provided for delivery therefore refund requested but was then told there would be delays with that too!!!
In the end I reclaimed my money through my credit card company and would recommend it if you are struggling to get your refund.
Placed an order with another company and goods delivered within 1 week!!!

Not sure what I'm getting for my money...

Waited four months for my delivery (a long wait was expected) however out of an order of plates and 3x kettle bells, I only received 2 kettle bells, with one being different from what I had ordered. Spoke with customer services via email who apologised that I had not been told that the weights I had ordered had not even been put into production. This is despite an earlier update failing to miss this information out 3 months after order. I have been offered to swap for cheaper bumper plates that I 'might' receive in another months time. Poor communication and yet to fully know when/what I will be recieving.

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I spent over £1000 with this company in December with an expected delivery date of February for gym equipment. This delivery date was pushed back further and further. It is now April and I have requested a refund at the end of March which has been acknowledged but still no refund almost a month later. Terrible experience.

Avoid.

Made an order in Jan 2021 with an expected delivery date of February. Thankfully I did not place a large order as it is now 4 months later and I still don't have a product or a refund!

I appreciate that some elements of business are sometimes out of our control, eg shipping issues during global pandemics, but I fail to understand how it can take 6+ weeks to process a refund when you specifically gave customers the option to cancel orders. I do get occasional email updates that are impressively vague and completely useless and probably would have been more beneficial to spend that time processing a refund ha.

Definitely regret this purchase and have had to escalate it with PayPal in the hopes they can get the refund through. Ended up making a more expensive purchase with another company that arrived the following day. Lesson learnt.

*EDIT: Got a refund through PayPal, highly recommend this route if possible for you.

AVOID

Ordered barbell and bumper kit in Dec 2020 with and est delivery date of February, February came with no tracking details so I contacted Apex and was told it was pushed back to April, April came and they didn’t message back despite numerous contact attempts. Had to escalate my order to PayPal in order to get a refund under the grounds of ‘not delivered’. Would certainly avoid if delivering to UK as they do not stock items here and every purchase is considered a pre-order which they cannot fulfil, there’s a reason why they are so cheap and it’s because it’s a cowboy outfit. Spend the extra £ for peace of mind e.g rogue fitness or others with a reputable customer service/logistics set up.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs, Ordered a bumper plate and barbell set December 2020, was due to arrive in Jan. Several communications and excuses later I have been told today that the order will not be arriving and a refund will be issued that will take 3-6 weeks, this is really not good enough after taking my payment 4 months ago. Supposedly the manufacturers are no longer making the plates however they are still advertising on the website that they will be available in April, something doesn’t quite add up. Business run by amateurs with zero consideration for the customer.

6 months. No delivery!

Ordered plate and bars black Friday 2020. Still nothing. Fonally got an email saying the bat was lost at the depot, but no updates since. Just want a refund now.

Very slow at replying....if they reply at all!

Managed to get hold of someone via their Instagram who had the cheek to say that the bar had been delivered! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

same issues as lots on here. placed order 3 Jan and 20 April still not received my order. they took payment rapidly, but not delivered on deadlines for orders. some emails have been received which do not look professional, but advise of delays in shipping. Although email updates could be more frequent than twice in 4 months. WILL I EVER RECEIVE WHAT I HAVE PAID FOR????????

Avoid.

Ordered several items expecting them to take some time to arrive (expected delivery times stated on website when ordering). However, now more than 2 months past the stated date for the first item & I've JUST received a tracking number for delivery (item has not been dispatched, I assume just a label has been printed and is sat their in their apparently empty warehouse). Other item in the order I'm told has a 2 month delay which if arriving as expected would be roughly 6 months from the point of ordering.

Had a second order for some bumper plates but cancelled this order a month ago and asked for a refund. Was told the order had been cancelled and a refund request sent to the finance team. 2 weeks later, requested an update and was told 'over 100 customers' had cancelled their orders and it was going to take some time to work through them. It really shouldn't take more than a month to process 100 refunds. I would cancel both orders but I have very little confidence I'll get anything back.

Probably one of the worst online purchasing experiences I've ever had. If you're in the UK spend a little more with a company based here.

Edited to add: the tracking number provided is, I assume, not my order at all, admit was marked as delivered this morning to a location nearly 200 miles away and signed for by someone I've never heard of. Round of applause.
