The technician did a great job but front office did not

The technician did a great job and I rate him the highest.
However the company as a whole, I was not satified with. After scheduling an appt by phone and receiving email confirmations, they didn't show. Considering you block at minimum 4-8 hours that is substantial. I called and they said I had been scheduled for the next day (Saturday) I was never notified or contacted. Apparently some issue at the office, apologies. As a inconvenience offering they would give me a $20 discount for the visit, which by the way was a regular visit as it "was time" even though I called with an issue.
As I said the tech showed up in the morning and did an excellent job.
When I received the invoice (im on autopay) they gave me a $20 discount but charged me $20 more than the normal rate for the visit.
Bad customer service!

Aptive Review

Aptive is wonderful to alert me before arriving and inform me of any changes to the appointment if necessary. Aptive has been good to return should part of my service not been met. They are professional and courteous. Although, there have been times that a call back has been necessary because of my pets not allowing a completed service call. I have truly appreciated the professionalism evident from Aptive.

They always come when scheduled. The techs are friendly, professional and thorough. They send me a text to let me know when they are on the way. They always knock at the door upon arrival. And they leave a full description of what they did today, what pests were targeted and what products were applied.

Communication Issues

The pest service people are great and show up. The scheduler for termite inspection verified the appt. for this past Monday 5/4 and that section of the company had a no show and didn't notify me of the inability to keep that appt. I lost 2 hours waiting. The next available is 2 weeks away.
I called the main pest service receptionist and informed her of the problem about the no show. Instead of listening she needlessly sent another pest treatment service person out although on the records I had that service done earlier 5/4. 5/5 the pest service person arrives. There needs to be better internal communication between staff/management and personnel performing services.
