Shipping was fast and the brushes are superb. They are similar to my Winsor Newton Series 7 brushes and work well for painting miniatures.

Simple ordering and fast delivery for a high quality product

Fantastic product, fantastic customer service. Received the S series wooden box with the world artwork on it. Started using the #1 brush then went to the zero brush, discovered the zero brush was thicker and thought that didn’t make any sense. Took a photo of my number one brush sent it to the company via email and they replaced it within four days in the US. Incredibly satisfied.

Great service. My dry pad was damaged on the way to me but they replaced it for free.

I’m not reviewing the product, which is excellent, nor the customer service teams, who are super nice and reactive, but the unclarity of the internet site. It’s a call to AO to be lot clearer on the site.

TLDR: Don't buy from them if you're from EU

When purchasing from EU it's written "taxes included" which is just a lie, and no warning whatsoever on import duties / fees, which are pricey and aren’t covered by these “includes taxes”.

Contacted Customer care because obviously Customs asked for duties... They answer super quickly and are constructive (hence the extra star): give the possibility to refuse the package and fully reimburse or to participate to the fees by contributing with X GBPs. I stupidly decide to still go ahead...

And then they reimburse the same X amount but in EUR...

So all in all, friendly, reactive, constructive aftersales teams, but unclear internet site makes it so that it's either a huge waste of time, or of money to purchase from them for EU based purchaser.

Avoid if you're from EU.

These brushes look expensive - and they are - but they are a pleasure to work with.

Great brushes that last. I've been using their S-series for over a year and got the Goonhamer mixed set to try the M and D-series as well.

Quick shipment, excellent packaging. Your website has informative how-to videos. Once I get a chance to use the brushes and cleaners, I will order more brushes.

Fast delivery wasn't expecting next day at that delivery price point

The brushes were great and it didn't take long to get them. I love them.

Artus Opus Brushes both the long brush of the S Series or the shorter brushes of the M Series, I can count on my brushes being filled up with enough paint to provide a nice stroke of color to my mini's.
If you don't mind the maintenance afterwards to which you should be doing anyways after using any brush, but when cleaning an Artus Opus brush that give you so much paint in the brush; that just means more cleaning of paint that you will see caking out of the brush when using the artus optus cleansers or any brush cleaning application that you use. the more caking paint that you can get out of the brush, the more paint will fill into your brush in the next project. With maintenance, the brushes last a good while for a good few years of constant usage, but when you think the brush has seen its last days, you can still use worn brushes as a multiple stippler/dottings or use it to apply dry pigments for basing and other applications to save your new brushes from taking the hit.

These were items specifically asked for as a birthday gift. My son in law was very pleased to receive them as he says they are “top of the line” for his painting projects.
